↝ backstory

GENEVIEVE, THE SHEDEVIL, was not just born. She was created in the deepest depths of Hell, from the ashes of the dead, the seven deadly sins and the fire in the realm. However, she was forged with a touch of love, as Lucifer was the one to put the plan into action — he was lonely as the sole royal of Hell, and desired company. That was why he decided to make himself a wife, a queen, someone to share a life and the throne with. And for a while, they did rule the kingdom happily, but it seemed that the darkness Lucifer had filled Genevieve's heart with was impossible to tame or control. Therefore, the queen quickly grew out of the loyalty she was supposed to radiate, and became erratic, cruel, evil. The companion Lucifer had sought turned into a threat, an enemy. Her greed drove her to unspeakable actions, and instead of being willing to share, she decided to seize the throne and turn Hell into her kingdom.

Genevieve quickly found a new title to her name, Killer Queen, given to her by the tortured subjects in Hell, who, frankly, feared her. Way more than they feared Lucifer, because whereas the Devil was wicked and relentless when it came to punishing the lost souls in their domain, the Shedevil was beyond that. She was terrifying, murderous, uncontrollable, and did whatever she pleased, and sometimes, that meant things even Lucifer wanted to deny from her. But everyone learned quickly that there was no defying the queen, who had come to conquer and wasn't going to settle for any less.

That was, partly, why Lucifer ended up fleeing Hell with Mazikeen. Sure, he considered Genevieve more of a threat than a wife because of the things she had done to drive him to that point, but he was also tired of the realm and the fate his Father had condemned him into. That pushed Lucifer into escaping, and as he landed on a beach in Los Angeles, Genevieve was left behind. Left alone. She formed anger and hatred towards her husband for abandoning her, but even if she felt betrayed and hurt, she decided to revel in the fact that Hell was all hers now. And she ruled with an iron fist, no mercy, no sympathy, just pain and misery for everyone.

Somehow, it's not as dreamy as she expected, though. After everything she had done to make her dreams come true, Genevieve finally gets the throne, but it's not what she thought. She ends up rather unhappy, and frankly, bored. That is why she decides to find something fun to do — torturing Lucifer, for example. With vengeance in mind, Genevieve then follows her husband's lead and flees Hell, showing up on Earth, and hellbent on making Lucifer suffer and pay for what he did to her.

After all, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
