Everyone who was in the arcade was trying to collect themselves of what just happened. Nikita, Teala and Manny ask Mortimer if was okay, since his mom just died. It's sad, nobody besides the guest at the dinner party died... Well Sarah did and Aurthur, but they were bad and tried to kill us !! He tells us that the jack in the box was one of the carnival masters artifacts. There's that word again, that triggers my mind!! Mortimer tells us that the carnival master has been using those artifacts to corrupt the town for years, and his mother just seemed to push it aside like it was nothing. I look around to see if their was anything that could help us in this situation and I find a box with the colors red, blue, green and yellow. We look around for those four colors and no one seems to find them, but Teala and I notice that their is a pin ball machine with those exact colors in order. We then realize that it was off, and we needed to turn it on. Manny then says that we need to erase the scores on the side of each machine, as we all do so a sentence gets formed. Tap six times on glass, after Safiya does so the pin ball machine turns on. We all take turns trying to hit the colors and if we hit one then the color on the box will open up. The red one was the hardest one for everyone, so I step up and try and hit and I hit the red card, and now the box has opened up. In the box was a note saying that we needed to fix the broken pieces of the jack in the box. If we finish putting the jack in the box all together all the clowns will disappear, sound familiar. If we do something correct and finish it something will disappear and I immediately think of the clowns .After a few seconds we decide to leave the arcade but of course we get caught by Miss. Creepy Clown Woman. She has her friends tie us up and Main clown lady says she wants the jack in the box back, but the group says they don't have it. SO WHERE IN THE HELL IS IT!! She tells us that one of the clowns will roll the dice of death and if it rolls to our number then she'll kill one of us.Unless, the clown rolls a twelve. If it's a twelve she will let one of us go, and not kill us. Rolați doisprezece!!! She then starts the carousel and all hell breaks loose. We're scared and we are praying we do not die! The clown then rolls his dice and it lands Some clowns point at Nikita, but the main clown points at Me. She laughs in my face saying, "the abnormal don't belong" whatever that means. That's right bikk I'm not normal. I've been to things like this. I've seen my best friend die, I've fought for my life, and I'm not the only abnormal one hereI think. All of a sudden to our rescue Mortimer appears on a motorcycle and shoots the main clown, He enters a house then comes out shooting the clowns. Everyone is cheering for him. The clowns soon run off in the other direction, Mortimer and Calliope come to untie us. Once Daniel is untied he rushes over and unties me, "Are you alright? That Luke clown didn't like put you under a spell right?"Daniel asked me and I laughed shaking my head. "Just a little dizzy from that"I say and he smiles helping me down. I notice the dice of death and Rosanna and I pick them up as we run inside. Once we are all inside the group blocks the doors and we are now safe. We talk among each other and find out that the only way to get rid of these clowns are by changing the parts of the jack in the box. We place the keys, the dice and the journal down and try and figure out what to do.Joey also announces he found celery, for some odd reason. "Joey we know you love a good vegetable smoothie but right now s not the time." I say and with that the whole group breaks down laughing .We look in the carnival masters journal we find a map of the room we are in at the moment, I decide to look around the room to see if their was anything loose in the room. I go toward the board and I move it to see a safe. "Guys check this out"I say and everyone walks towards me. "The key!"MatPat says and Colleen hands me the key, I open the lock to see some cube holes. We all know that the dice we picked up had to go in their, so the group places the dice on and we look around. Roi opens the fridge and we see a secret passage way, We all go through to find ourselves in a lounge area. "This is sick"I say looking around, "and well hidden" but then I remember he lounge that we had at the ball and then I remember seeing my best friend getting their throat cut. I sit down on the ground trying to calm myself "You okay there?"Rosanna asked and I nod, "Just a little dizzy from before"I say and I look over to see Joey and Daniel hugging and Daniel kisses the top of Joeys head before saying we should get to work. We then start looking around trying to find something useful to help us out. I spot a map on the wall of Everlock, MatPat reads what it says and it said each time an artifact is cleansed then more of the town will appear. I look back at the girls and see them speaking among each other, I walk over to them. "Guys?"I say to Colleen "Now do you understand. Joey is trying to kill us" "Ly he isn't, he seems totally harmless. He's trying to help"She whisper back and I sigh, "You'll understand soon Colleen"I say as I get up and look around. I go back and join the group. The group finds something behind the map and we decide to check it out. Nikita lays it on the table while everyone gathers around. I sat besides Daniel, Joey was behind Nikita and Manny . Then Nikita begins to read what it says. We were to late. Even with all of our society's knowledge we didn't understand the carnival masters dark plan. To save Everlock, we froze it in time to give us a chance to stop him, but we were no match for his wrath. Realizing all was lost, I used the last of my life magic to encase him in an amber prison.But the spell has reached it's end. At sunrise, the carnival master will be released from his prison and will consume all life in Everlock. There are eight corrupted artifacts which the carnival master draws power from. If they can be gathered and cleansed of evil, the carnival master will be weakened and can be slain. However, the artifacts are protected, and whenever touched, their evil guardian appears. The final act to cleanse each artifact will require a voting on two who must undertake a horrifying challenge that only one will survive. By sunrise, if the artifacts have not been cleansed and the carnival master slain, everyone in town, including you, will be destroyed. After Nikita read it all, everyone started to worry. I however seemed to be calm and looked super suspicious about this whole situation, "Lyra How do you feel about that? You seem quite calm?"Joey says and the group look at me but I just roll my eyes. "It's what we had to do Joey, the only way to survive basically hell is by betraying people we loved and thinking that if we sacrifice someone would change it all"I say in a straight face, but constantly changing my voice making it louder, looking Joey dead in the eyes. "You said had"Teala says. "Yes, had. Meaning this has happened before, right Joey?"I say leaning back in my chair and we all look at Joey. People question Joey, but then let it go. For me however, I worried and didn't trust Joey as much as I did. Joey reads the note saying that their is only one music box that we can use so the jack in the box isn't angry. However, the clowns are protecting it in the disco party they have. It then says proper attire is behind the yellow couch. Nikita reads hers and it says that the small spring is hidden in a giant tent, are you serious? It then says we have to rip stuffing out it to find the spring. We then decide to split up, half go to the disco and half to the tent. "I don't trust clowns and I actually want you to live, so you're coming with me"Daniel says pulling me besides him. Daniel goes with Colleen and Joey comes with us to the tent. Once we get back with the noses I decide to go and try to find the stuff we need and help in anyway I can. We rush out and put on these red noses and gloves. Are Everlock clowns this dumb? They have to know that these are disguises. Mortimer hands Nikita some drugs, but actually just knocks them out for a couple of minutes. He says to only use them when we need to. We then walk in to this clown disco and jesus these clowns are dumb. I'm the type of person who doesn't really dance. Me though, I suck at dancing. I go around switching from person to person to find clues and try and blend it. I stood with Colleen and JC realized that one clown had a briefcase locked on her, so maybe the music box song was in their. Now we gotta figure out how to get it, she does have a drink in her hand. Probably gonna knock her out later . We were all dancing and having fun, still trying to get that briefcase. We go over to the clown named High Tower who had the briefcase. Joey got her drink and drugged it, then returned it to her. Then guess who shows up? Main crazy clown is here and shes suspicious. Once she was drugged we see that we have to find numbers to unlock it. Because of course nothing in this town can be easy! We decide to go back into the party to see what we haven't been looking at. We notice their are four platforms and each of them have a certain amount poka dots on them. We notice the dots on one box had two, but before we could count more main clown came by. I thought our cover was blown, but Colleen swooped in and saved the day. You know with dancing, I don't think she liked it though. Since we got caught by main lady the boys sent me and Nikita to distract, it went okay. I did have to pull Nikita out when it was time to go, so yeah. When we get back JC opens the briefcase that was filled with silly string, and inside a little pocket was the song. All we had to do now was get back to the jack in the box, put the song and pray the rest are alright. I have faith in Daniel that he'll be okay. Once we get insiders wait for like four minutes for the other group to finish and get in. We all sit down together and Safiya reads the note we found. It mainly says that the artifact needs one more piece to be replaced and that's the actual jack in the box, the puppet thing. She goes on to say that two must be voted to undertake the challenge, and this might be my downfall. I tried to be as useful, but I just don't feel like I was useful enough and that could lead me to undertake this challenge. Safiya keeps going on saying that two will be selected must choose a partner to save them. Everyone then starts turning Joey, asking why he did this. "Everyone calm down, Joey is just as clueless as we are. Right Joey? You're not apart of the problem right?" Daniel asked walking around the couch. "I don't think so Daniel, Joey seems in a rush..Are you Graceffa"I say. "I wouldn't be surprised if he was apart of this. Disappearing forever, youtubers dying off too, invites us on a mission and now just seems in a rush. He asked for us, for a reason. Aren't I correct Joey? You ask us specifically, why not some of your closer friends? Why not them?"I asked. After some time we recollect to decide who should be put into the challenge. JC asked if one of us volunteered to die, and uh no. We all laughed. We then branch off, Joey and Daniel of course pulling me over. "You haven't done much"Joey says to me, "Gee thanks"I say looking at her. "Don't worry we got this under control"Daniel says smiling, "Yeah whatever"I say walking away. I walk to Colleen, "You know I won't vote for you"Colleen say and I nod, "yeah...but other people would probably"I say looking down. "hey, don't think like that"She says holding my hands, I look at her "We'll get out together"Colleen says and I smile and nod. Then it was time to vote, Calliope says that we'll have to choose a card and she will shuffle it around and pick two out. We all take turns to choose who we want in the challenge, I choose Joey, why I need to revenge my best friends death. JC and Teala were voted in. To fight for them, JC chose Mat and Teala chose Safiya. They ended up having to go alone, meaning we had to play the wait to see who survived. I look over and Joey and Daniel, both deep into their thoughts. Yes I know I'm meant to be mad at Joey but he's still my dad weather I like it or not They all soon return and we see that JC not there. JC is now dead. Mat walks over to me and sits besides me, He puts his head in his hands. "I failed him"He says, "You didn't fail him Mat, I bet those challenges were hard. You can't change that, and it's not your fault"I say and he sighs. Safiya then reads a note that she found with the jack. Not everyone in town is telling the truth. Colleen then says something quite odd of her, She just asked what if it's one of us. I had to fight the urge to jump up and yell it's Joey he's lying to all of your faces. But then again I just can't do that and I just pray that I have the same luck as the past two times and I escape the night.
