Dipper was casually reading journal 3 for probably the billionth time.

He was also writing in his own journal he began when he and Mabel went back to Peidmont last summer.

Suddenly, Kimber and Kitty popped up from behind the chair making him jump five feet.

"Hi Dipper!" They shouted in unison. "Sorry...did we scare you?" Kitty asked grinning.

Dipper laughed. "Well....maybe a little...what's up you guys?" He asked casually hiding both journals.

Kimber seemed to notice. "What's that book you were reading?" She questioned.

Kitty glanced at him. "What about the one you were writing in?" She added.

Now, he was getting nervous. "Um i-it's nothing." He lied. He couldn't let them see it.

"C'mon Dipper, please show us!" "If it's a dairy we won't make fun of you!" Kimber promised.

Dipper sighed revealing the journal. "No, it's not a diary." He said quietly.

The girls exchanged glances. "Then, what is it?" They asked simultaneously.

*Cue theme song*

Oh man, how am I supposed to answer that?! I can't just keep lying and they probably will believe this stuff....

Dipper was lost in thought trying to think of something to say. Luckily, Ford walked out at just the right moment.

"Oh hi Grunkle Ford!" "Can you tell us what this book is?" Kitty asked cheerfully.

Ford's eyes widened. "Well um...hang on kids, I need to talk to Dipper a moment, please don't open that book!"

He quickly pulled Dipper to his lab. "What happened?" He asked calmly.

"Well, I was reading it and writing in mine, then they popped up and wanted to see it so I tried to lie!" Dipper explained.

"You did well my boy, but...." He trailed off slowly glancing from Dipper to the journal.

"I don't think we can hide this anymore, it's too big to lie about...as long as they don't know about Bill, they'll be ok."

Dipper sighed in understanding and nodded. "Yeah, your right...how do you think they'll react?"

Ford thought a moment before looking down. "I don't know." He murmured.

When they returned to tell the girls the truth, Ford was relieved to see they hadn't looked through the journal.

"Kitty, Kimber....you want to know what that book is?" He asked.

They nodded. "Yeah, we saw it had six fingers on the cover." Kitty obseved.

"That's because...I wrote that journal, three of them to be precise." Ford admitted.

"You wrote them?" "About what?" Kimber asked excitedly. Ford offered a small smile.

"When I first came to this town many years ago, I began to keep this journal of all the interesting things I've seen here."

The girls stared at him. "Can we open it?" Kitty asked hopefully. Ford nodded. "Yes."

They opened it, and began reading it...turning pages of each and every oddity.

"This is....Amazing!" Kimber cheered. "I love stuff like this, I basically lived in it back home!"

Kitty was still smiling. "These are sooo cool...so all these weird things are in this town?"

Dipper nodded. "Yep, in fact....Mabel!" He called to his twin. It was time....

"What's wrong broseph-why are Kitty and Kimber looking through the journal?!" Mabel panicked.

"Calm down....Mabel, we decided to tell them about the....weirdness." Dipper explained.

"We didn't think it was right to lie to them and risk them getting curious enough to get hurt." Ford added.

"Oh, finally you guys understand!" MaMabel cheered. She looked at Dipper. "Can I?"

Dipper nodded knowing what she wanted to say. "Go ahead." He laughed.

So, He and Mabel poured out their whole summer, every detail to the two...minus Bill of course.

"Wow, you seriously fought a dinosoar?!" kitty gasped in exitement.

"And fought zombies?!" Kimber added smiling widely. The twins nodded.

"Yup, and Wendy and Soos and Stan did too!" Mabel smiled. Dang it felt great finally telling them.

"Why didn't you guys tell us before?" Kitty asked curiously. Dipper glanced at them.

"We were afraid to tell you because we though you'd be freaked out and want to leave." Ford admitted.

"Yeah, we never told anyone about this, even our parents don't know, please don't tell anyone." Mabel begged.

"Don't worry, we promise we won't tell." Kimber assured. "Thanks for trusting us." She smiled.

Kitty hugged them. "Yeah, we're glad you told us because now we can all go on adventures together!"

Ford smiled. "Yes, we can...So you two aren't creeped out by anything?" He asked.

"I've seen my brothers in their underwear, there's nothing more horrific than that!" Kimber replied.

Everyone laughed. And soon, Stan walked in. "Um hey there kids...why do you have that journal?" He demanded.

"Stanley, it's ok they know and everything is fine, they know and they want to go on adventures with all of us!" Ford cheered.

"Oh, ok then...did you tell them how I heroically punched a dinosaur in the face to save Mabel's pig?" He winked.

Everyone laughed. Kitty flipped to a random page. "Um Grunkle Ford?" "What's the portal?"

They went silent. Stan and Ford exchanged sad glances. "Well...That's a story for another day kids, it's complicated."

Ford told them. They awwed but were happy they could finally learn the mysterious secrets of Gravity Falls....

"Some secrets are not meant to stay hidden..."
