"Disco Girl, coming through, that girl is you!" Dipper sang into the mirror as he combed through his hair.

Little did he know, Kitty had opened door at that very moment and heard...everything.

"Um Dipper?" She began stifling laughter at the sight. The teen boy immediately screamed and ducked in the shower.

Now, Kitty was laughing. "S-Sorry Diporito!" "Guess I should've knocked." She aplogised gasping for air.

Dipper climbed out of the shower bushing and coughed awkwardly. "N-No, it's fine um you heard that?" He squeaked.

Kitty laughed again nodding. "Every word..."

*Cue theme song*

Dipper mentally smacked himself. Well, at least it wasn't Kimber..." He thought in relief.

Kitty stopped laughing not wanting to embarrass him more than he already was.

"Don't worry Dip, I um I do the same thing." She admitted smiling a bit.

Dipper looked at her. "R-Really?" He asked feeling a bit better. She nodded, blushing in embarrassment.

"Yeah, except I listen to Several Timez." Kitty looked down feeling her face heat up.

Dipper smiled in reassurance. "So does Mabel, don't worry, I'm used to it by now." He promised.

Kitty's smile returned and she walked out of the room happily. "Thanks Dipper, oh and sorry again, for barging in." She added.

Dipper finished fixing his hair and changed. He decided to join everyone downstairs.

"Hey Dipper!" Kimber popped up out of no where, making him jump a mile in the air. "Sorry!"

Dipper caught his breath and smiled. "Hey Kim, morning." He greeted happily.  She smoothed her hair.

"So um how's your morning been?" She asked beaming. Dipper shrugged.

"Pretty ok I guess." He replied leaving out the um *cough* akward *cough* moment...

Soon, everyone had breakfast (semi burned Stan cakes) and carried on with their usual activities.

Ford and Stan were talking, Mabel was playing with Waddles and knitting a new sweater, Wendy was chatting with Soos arguing over the radio choices.

Dipper was sitting on the couch relaxing when two familiar heads popped up, scaring him. "Oh, um hi guys." He smiled.

"Hey Dipper um can we ask you something?" Kitty asked shifting uncomfortably next to Kimber.

Dipper shrugged. "Sure." He answered. Both girls exchanged glances. "Well um..." Kimber began.

"We want to know your real name!" Kitty blurted out rapidly. Dipper froze. Not too many people knew his real name...

"Sorry...we're just kind of curious." Kimber apologised nervously. Dipper nodded.

"No, no it's ok...I'll tell you." He replied. "Ok...my real name is....Mason." He stated.

"Mason and Mabel...makes sense." Kimber smiled warmly. "They each have two vowels in the exact same place as well as three consinents!"

Kitty beamed as well. "It's not that bad a name, honestly." She assured cheerily.

Dipper smiled in relief. "If you don't mind us asking...how'd you get your nickname?" Kimber asked.

Dipper gulped half expecting this question. "Well um promise you won't make fun of me?" He asked cautiously.

Both teens shook their heads. "Of course not!" Kitty promised. Kimber agreed. "We'd never do that."

And with that, Dipper took off his hat and lifted the hair covering his birthmark. Both girls gave a slight gasp in amazement.

"The big Dipper!" "Oh my gosh, that's the coolest thing ever!" Kimber squealed. Kitty beamed in agreement.

Dipper stood dumbfounded. "You...really think it's cool?" He wondered. They nodded.

"Yeah, how'd you get it?" Kitty replied. Dipper smiled knowing he could trust them.

"I was born with it...but sometimes I wish I never had it." I was bullied because of it." He admitted.

Now, Kimber was mad. "What?!" "Who bullied you?!" "They'll pay!" She growled angrily.

"They moved schools a few years ago, I started wearing this green lucky hat when I was six, but it didn't help." Dipper sighed.

Kitty nodded. "Can I show you something?" She hesitated. Dipper nodded. "Of course, what is it?"

Kitty showed him her neck that was covered by her shirt. And there...was a perfect cat birthmark....

"Woah, you were born with that?" "Awesome!" Kimber cheered hugging her. "Were you bullied too?" She asked.

Kitty nodded. "Yeah, but not a lot, it stopped after I turned 8." She replied smiling.

Dipper and Mabel returned the smile. "Oh, Good!" "Well, um I'd better go help Ford in the lab now, but I'll talk to you guys later?" Dipper suggested.

Kimber nodded. "Sure, see you later Dip." She beamed. Dipper blushed and headed to the lab.

"Greetings my boy, can I be of any assistance?" Ford asked. Dipper smiled.

"No thanks....well, now two other people know my real name...and birthmark." Dipper shrugged.

Ford smiled. "Kitty and Kimber, I'm guessing?" He replied. Dipper nodded tugging at his Pine Tree hat.

"Yeah, but it's ok...I um learned that Kitty and I aren't that different after all." He smiled widly.

Ford raised an eyebrow in curosity. "Really?" "That's great!" "What is it?" He asked.

Dipper bit his lip hesitantly. "You won't tell anyone will you?" He cautioned. Ford shook his head.

"You have my word." He promised looking into the teen's chocolate brown eyes.

Dipper took a deep breath. "Well...Kimber has a birthmark too, it's in the shape of a cat." He explained leaving out the bullying part.

Ford's eyes lit up in amazement. "That's amazing!" "It must be genetic!" He declared as his smile widened.

Dipper smiled too. He and Ford began working on a device in the lab....

Meanwhile, Mabel was talking with Kitty, Wendy and Kimber. "So Kimber, have any other family members?" Mabel asked.

Kimber nodded. "Yeah, I have three older brothers but they got sent to military school until the end of summer for pranking a teacher."

Wendy laughed. "Welp, I guess pranking runs in the family...what did they do?" She asked.

Kimber thought a moment. "I think they put a bucket full of water balloons over his desk and he got soaked!" She recalled smiling.

They talked a while longer about different things and then parted ways. Kitty headed to the attic with Mabel, Kimber and Wendy kept talking, and Dipper hung out with Ford.

It was both an awkward and pleasant morning so far....and it would just get better from there.
