Wendy plopped the bags on the ground in relief. Soos layed the rest down by the cooler and sat down.

Dipper and Mabel watched excitedly as Wendy and Kimber began pitching tents near them. Kitty helped Wendy carry the bags.

"Welp, this is the spot dudes!" Soos announced cheerfully. Mabel put down her bag of sweaters.

"I can't believe we're all going on a real campout!" She squealed happily as she looked at the veiw in the distance.

Kitty was equally exited. "I know!" "I've never been on a campout before so I'm a little nervous." She admitted.

Kimber overheard their conversation. "I've never been either, but I'm sure it's a lot of fun!" She assured smiling.

Wendy sat next to them. "Don't worry, I've been on these a ton of times, well since I was five." She explained. "But I'll teach you everything you need to know!"

Kitty beamed and pulled out a camera. "I'm kind of good with a camera, so I can take pictures and stuff." She cheered.

Dipper smiled. "You read my mind, I never go anywhere without a camera!" He replied pulling out his.

"Nerd alert!" Mabel chanted playfully punching them in the arm. Then they all laughed.

Meanwhile, at the shack Stan and Ford were sitting at the table talking amongst themselves.

"I don't know Stanley, was it really a good idea to let the kids go alone?" "I mean....what if something goes wrong?" Ford pondered.

Stan shrugged. "You worry too much Poindexter, the kids will be fine, plus their with Wendy and Soos!" He assured.

Ford sighed. "Yes, I suppose...I'm just worried that they might get hurt or lost, or-

*Boom*

A loud blast interuppted them. Both men jumped up and looked outside. It began to pour rain immediatly.

"Oh no, the kids are outside Stan!" "What if lightning strikes or the tent catches on fire?!" "We should go see if their ok!" Ford mused.

"Calm down will ya, I'm sure their fine...if anything goes wrong Mabel has my phone number and we'll pick them up." Stan insisted.

"Alright, alright." Ford muttered. He relaxed a bit and drifted off to sleep next to his twin.

Meanwhile....

"Ah, my hair is getting soaked!" Mabel shreiked rushing inside the tent. Everyone was soaking wet and cold.

"Sorry dudes, guess I should have checked the weather." Soos said softly as he handed them a blanket to warm up with.

Kitty shrugged smiling. "It's ok, at least we have a tent to stay dry in!" She offered with entusiasm.

Soos smiled back. "You know, your really positive, that's great!" He praised. Kitty blushed.

"Well, I tend to look on the bright side of things and try to make people happy whenever I can!" She replied.

"And that's why your called Kitty!" Kimber spoke. "Your happy all the time!"

Kitty laughed. "I know." She smiled. Dipper peeked outside the tent. It was still raining, hard.
"Sooo I guess it's still raining?" Mabel guessed as her brother attempted to dry off his hat.

"Yeah...still raining." He muttered and gave a sigh. Wendy threw him a towel to dry off.

"Looks like we're stuck in here until it stops raining." Kimber sighed wrapping herself in a blanket.

"Ugh, sorry guys, this was not how I wanted your first camping trip to go!" Wendy muttered looking outside.

Kitty shrugged. "Well, at least we're together!" She cheerily replied smiling.

It was quite in the tent for a few minutes. No one said a word or moved.

"So um now what?" Mabel asked breaking the silence. Dipper looked outside again.

"Hey, it stopped raining!" He announced. They all perked up and climbed out of the tent.

"Ooo, look a bunny!" Kitty shouted pointing of into the distance. Everyone looked towards it.

"Bunny!" Mabel, and Kimber squealed in unision. They tip toed as quitely as they could so they didn't scare it.

Kitty carefully picked it up. It looked up at her and nuzzled her hands. They all awwed.

"Can we keep her?!" "Please!" Kimber begged to her cousin giving her the puppy eyes. Wendy nodded.

"Sure, But you'll have to see what Stan and Ford say." She agreed petting the small animal.

The bunny was brown and white with a small heart shaped birthmark on her chest. It's eyes were a bright blue and it's tail was like a small, fluffy cotton ball.

Kitty hugged the bunny and giggled as it licked her face. "It's sooo cute!" She cheered petting it's head.

A loud growling sound interuppted their fun. They instantly jumped up and looked around.

Kimber laughed. "Sorry guys, that was my stomach, do we have any food?" She asked.

Dipper nodded. "Yeah, I brought some hot dogs that we can cook on a campfire and some chocolate bars for dessert."

Kitty's eyes lit up. "Did you say chocolate?!" She shouted. Kimber ran to them nearly crushing Dipper.

"Chocolate!" She echoed. "Where's the chocolate?!"  She shouted looking through the bags.

Wendy and Dipper laughed. "Sorry, She loves chocolate..." Wendy said handing her a chocolate bar.

"Thanks, I am in love with chocolate and I think Kitty is too." Kimber laughed eating it.

Wendy gave everyone a chocolate bar and started to build a campfire for the hot dogs. Dipper helped her.

"Here, I'll get the firewood, you wait here." The boy ordered hurrying to get some wood.

Dipper quickly made his way through the woods picking up any wood he could find. He was tempted to drop everything and run once he heard weird sounds, but talked himself out of it.

Just as he picked up the last peice of wood, he could of sworn he saw a pair of eyes staring at him.

Dipper instantly made a run for it, as bushes rustled he managed to make it back to the campsight, out of breath.

"Woah Dipper dude, what happened?!" Soos asked pointing to the younger teen's torn shirt.

"N-Nothing, I just...thought I saw something, that's all, here's the wood for the fire, Wendy." Dipper replied.

Soon, the fire was built and everyone was eating hotdogs and talking happily. Mabel sprinkled glitter on her hot dog.

Kitty and Kimber looked at her. "Um Mabel, you um put glitter on your hotdog?" Kimber pointed in confusion.

Mabel gave a wide, glitter coated smile. "Yup!" "The more sparkle, the better!" "Want some?" She offered.

Both girls looked toward Dipper. He motioned for them not to eat it. Kimber smiled.

"Thanks Mabel, but I'm good...maybe some other time?" She decided. Mabel smiled and ate another glitter dog.

"I'll have one!" Kitty announced pouring glitter over her food. Kimber and Dipper face palmed. "Um Kitty...you might not a wanna-

Too late, she ate it. "This tastes like....a million thousand rainbows just danced in my mouth and are hugging my teeth!" Kitty shouted.

Mabel gave a squeal of happiness. "Yayyy, glitter cousins!" She cheered. Kitty beamed.

"Glitter cousins forevah!" She echoed with joy eating the hot dogs. Dipper and Kimber face palmed again.

"Ok...I think it's getting pretty late...why don't we get some sleep?" Wendy suggested.

They all agreed it was a good idea and climbed into their tent. Kitty and Kimber slept next to each other, Wendy was on the right, Dipper on the left, Soos on the side and Kitty's bunny we're all curled up....

The next morning....

"Ok dudes, the Stan's wanted us home by 9am it's almost 8 so we'd better head back." Soos decided.

Wendy nodded in agreement. "Yeah, good idea, everything packed?" She asked the kids.

Kitty had her bag and bunny, Kimber had her bag full of food, Dipper and Mabel had their bags.

"Alright, home we go!" Kitty cheered walking right in front. Kimber followd along with the twins.

Soon, after a few minutes, they got back home to the shack. The elder pines twins watched happily through the window.

"Welp, There goes our peice and quite!" Stan joked as he waited for them to come inside.

"Very funny Stanley, but...what is Kitty holding in her arms?" Ford asked looking closer.

Stan looked and groaned. "Ugh, looks like we're havin' a bunny here now too...ah well." He shrugged.

"Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford!" The kids called hugging them. Ford smiled at them. "I wasn't worried..." He lied ruffling Dipper's hair.

"So um Kitty?" Ford began. Kitty petted her bunny. "New family member?" He guessed. She nodded smiling. Ford smiled too.

"Very well...good to have you back, kids..."
