Previously on Welcome Back

"The Dursley's aren't going to know what hit them," Lily said after placing the equipment into the storage room which was placed outside. When she said this everyone cheered.

The next morning the adults moved on through their days like nothing happened last night. They all knew for a fact that the pranks they planned to pull didn't cancel everything they did to Harry out, but, they couldn't do anything major as that would risk exposing their world. So they had to settle for these pranks.

That night when all the kids were asleep, all 5 adults crept out of 12 Grimmauld Place, each with a bag of dung bombs with them. They all went to a secluded alley and apparated a block away from the Dursley's home. They walked the rest of the way in silence.

When they got to the Dursley's front door, James was about to unlock the door with Alohomora but Molly stopped him before he could and whispered

"Won't Harry get in trouble if we use wands? In his second year, a house-elf cast a levitating spell and Harry was blamed."

James grinned and said " He won't. The alarm at the ministry goes off when they detect an unknown source of magic."

When Molly got confused James explained further

"Just like underage wizards, under age wands aren't registered as well, but seeing as Dobby didn't use a wand, I would say they detected magic from here and since the source of magic came as unknown, the only conclusion they could come to was that Harry had performed magic. Which would also explain why the alarm didn't go off when Remus and the others rescued him."

Molly then nodded understandingly and James performed alohomora and unlocked the door.

The group crept in quietly each with a bag of dung bombs in their hand. James took charge of placing them in the kitchen, Lily placed the muffliato spell in Vernon and Petunias bedroom and placed dung bombs there while Sirius did the same for Dudley's room. Mrs. Weasley placed them in the living room while Remus placed them in the bathroom.

Once all the dung bombs were placed in every room of the house, the group quietly snuck out. Once they found an isolated alley from which they apparated home, they activated the spy cameras which they had also placed and put them in record mode. They all high fived each other and headed to bed as it was getting quite late.

The next morning

Everyone woke up with a smile for different reasons. Harry had been waking up happy almost every day since he was reunited with his parents and his friends were happy in seeing him content with his new life. James and Lily were happy for Harry and they were also feeling a sense of accomplishment from the previous night, Sirius and Remus were also in a good mood because of last night. Lily sent the kids off to the park next door and then flooed for Molly after breakfast. 

All of them were ready to watch the recordings as to what happened with the Dursley's that morning, Lily got out the computer she used to sync with the cameras she bewitched to show them what was happening. She opened the lid and turned on the live feed for everyone to see as everyone waited with bated breath.
