Weiss' POV

"Whoa Weiss, what's the matter?" Ruby questions as I storm into the room and flop down onto my bed.

"It's nothing." This is one of those times I wish we had our own individual dorms because I do not want to deal with this right now. Honestly, if I had it my way I would be soaking in a hot bubble bath to relieve this stress but for now I will have to make do with just laying in bed. At least I would if my teammates would just stop bothering me!

"Oh come on princess there is definitely something messing with you otherwise you would be complaining about the mess. By the way, it was Ruby, not me."

"Hey!" Lifting my head I notice all that all the pillows are scattered about the room with some lacking their cases while other just barely cling to them. Looking more I can see empty dog food cans just laying about with some stains on the pillows from what I hope is the aforementioned dog food.

"I... I missed all of this?" The sisters nod their heads eagerly. "I guess I really am stressed."

"See? What did I tell you?" Yang then slides next to me on the bed as I sit up to better talk with them. "Now tell ol' Yang here what's got your tiara in a bunch." She wraps her arm around my shoulders and Ruby sits on what was Blake's empty bed.

"One, I have never once worn a tiara and you lack any proof to say otherwise, two tiara's are metal head ornaments so they are more likely to get mangled and not "in a bunch", three," I move Yang's arm from my shoulders, "don't do that and four "ol' Yang"?" Said blonde then crosses her arms and mock pouts about my critiques while our "fearless leader" giggles on Blake's bed.

"Okay, Weiss what's really bothering you?" Funny how right now the younger sister is acting more mature than the older one though given who Ruby has been with lately I am not surprised. Yang then stops her childish behavior and looks intently at me. With a sigh, I begin.

"Well if you must know it is about Neptune." Ruby perks up a little concerned.

"Did something happen?" I shake my head.

"No no nothing happened. Well, something technically happened but not to Neptune. Earlier today I was with Blake and we came across Sun and Neptune. We decided to chat and even go to a cafe for some drinks and a snack. The place was crowded so Sun decided to wait in line to get all our orders while Neptune and I claimed a table and allowing Blake to use the restroom. Neptune and I sat there and waited for the two to come back and we even struck up a nice conversation."

"So? That doesn't sound too bad?"

"Well if you would let me finish Yang you would know what I am talking about." She takes two fingers pinched them together and makes a zipping motion across her mouth. Childish. I clear my throat to allow me some time to find where I was in this story. "So we were chatting and having a fair time when Neptune had to go help Sun with the order. Frankly, I don't know why he didn't ask for help before ordering but that is beside the point. While I was waiting, a blonde haired hunter came up to me and started flirting with me. Now normally I would not allow this but seeing as he had the courage to try and flirt with me I would be rude to not humor him even if just for a short time."

"Oh, so you mean he was cute."

"Yang I told you to be quite!"

"No, I think Weiss would say he was charming instead of cute."

"Ruby!" The siblings laugh at my dismay.

"Well if it wasn't true then your face would not be red." I glare at the two but they only seem to laugh more at me. Seriously how immature can these two get?! After they calm down I continue with my story.

"Like I said I humored him for a little bit when another huntsmen-in-training showed up and started flirting with me right in front of another one. Well before the two could argue or do anything really Neptune shouted from across the room while on his way back with the food and drinks with Sun. He stormed his way down the shop and slammed the refreshments onto the table which is where I obtained this stain." I then point to a large stain on the front of my no longer white dress. "Instead of apologizing like a gentleman would Neptune just started arguing with the two other huntsmen about who I am "with"." They both give me a funny look.

"Really? That doesn't sound like Neptune." I then let out a frustrated groan and fall back onto my bed.

"I know! It's like he changed in an instant!" I cover my eyes with my hands and groan again. "But apparently those two are also from Haven like Sun and Neptune and are on other teams and have had a "rivalry" with Neptune since Oum knows how long."

"How do you know all that?" Yang sounds concerned. Finally, she is acting at least close to her age.

"Sun told me while Neptune and the other two continued to argue. They shouted at each other for so long that Blake was able to return from the restroom. Their little debt went on forever and all I could catch was it was about me and who I should be with." I scoff before continuing. "Like I am some kind of prize to be won and paraded over others. I mean really? Sun eventually told Blake and I that it would be best to leave since "if it's like their other arguments it's about to get real" which I assume is to mean that they were going to trade blows." Removing my hands from my eyes I and look at the two who are giving me sympathetic looks. At least those should be sympathetic looks and not looks of pity. Weiss Schnee is not to be pitied.

"Dang with time I have spent with the guy I would never have guessed that he would act like that." Yang then pats me on the back. "Don't worry Weiss I am sure it was a one-time thing."

"Yeah, I wouldn't let that get you down."

"Thank you. Your reassurance is appreciated." Yang then looks confused.

"Wait you said you were with Blake? Where is she?"

"Oh, she decided to go to the library and honestly after that little debacle I was in no mood for much of anything." My mood then perks up a little as I remember something or more precisely someone. My shift does not go unnoticed by Ruby and Yang.

"Judging my that look on your face something else happened."

"Well while I was on my way back here I bumped into someone... different."

"Ooo sounds fun. Tell me more." Yang rests her head on her hands as she says that.

"Well, he's of average height, decently built, with (E/C) eyes and (H/C) hair, and deep voice. Also when I say bumped into I mean I literally ran into him." They snicker at that. "What? I was distracted okay. Whatever. Well, when I bumped into him he was quite polite about it and offered me a hand up. I hesitate to admit it but I was honestly quite rude to him at the start but he was quite nice to me in spite of this though he did not shy away from telling me that I was rude. I liked that he was willing to speak his mind even to a Schnee and we eventually began talking."

"Oh, you got a crush that's it. Looks like Ruby ain't the only one with boys on the brain." I shout a "hey" at that while Ruby introduces a pillow to Yang's face. "Something I said?" Both I and her sister roll our eyes.

"Dunce."

"Well, I am happy that you meet someone new Weiss." Ruby's scroll then sounds off and she reads her message. "Oh I am sorry but I forgot it was date night. I gotta go guys." Ruby then jumps to the door. "Talk to you guys later and don't worry too much Weiss everything will sort itself out." She then leaves the room. Yang and I sit there in an awkward silence until she loudly claps her hands together.

"Well, I am going to go check of Blake and see what she is up to at the library" Before she leaves Yang looks back. "If you want to chat more you can just send me a text. Well, see ya." She then makes her way down the hall after closing the door behind her. Laying back down in my bed my thoughts go back to the young man I met. Why does he capture my attention? I have only met him once. It is probably the fact that I just got off of dealing with Neptune's childish quarrel that he seems to stick out to me so much. Oh well, it was nice chatting with him but I doubt I will be seeing him anytime soon. I reach for my little plushie and try to fall asleep. Then it hits me like a brick wall. THOSE DUNCES LEFT ME THIS MESS!!!

Okay so her she is Weiss-cream herself. So seriously I kinda apologize since I am sorta breaking canon here with the story by adding in the "rivals" and having Neptune probably act OOC but that was just the story I came up with and I kinda wanted to stick with it. Sorry if it disappoints but this is a fanfic and though it does not excuse the OOCness (not a word) I think it does give the flexibility to take the canon events and play around with them. I mean I would much rather read something new then just read an episode but with one small detail changed and everything else staying the same but that is just me.
