Appearance: for someone his age. Yuri is a tall and slender teenage boy with pale skin and dark turquoise eyes that require glasses. His long dark purple hair is worn loose with his bangs mostly facing one side, and he sometimes wears a royal blue clip. Casually, he wears a pastel purple top with a lilac cardigan, denim capri, a brown belt, and white slip-on shoes, but he's mostly seen in his school uniform.

As Cure Moonlight, his eyes become bright turquoise while his now curled hair grows partially longer and turns lavender, his sharpened bangs spread across his face to partially obscure one eye while the rest stick up on the side, worn with a cluster of indigo roses. His long, silver-ruffled dress has dark indigo lining and white wing-like sleeves to match the chest ruffles. A ribbon wraps around the navel, accenting his choker. On the chest is an indigo rose with a silver and cyan heart brooch to match the layer of skirting beneath his dress. He also gets silver and dark indigo boots, a white and dark indigo wristpiece, indigo flower earrings, and a single indigo opera glove.

Personality: Yuri is calm and composed, well known for his cool attitude and his frequently chart-topping exam scores at school. He's shown to have a high admiration and respect towards his senior and Mentor, Kurushi. He cares for little and is initially cold towards Damian and the Titans. After losing Cologne he became quiet and withdrawn, fearful of causing others to feel burdened by him or risk losing someone else he cherishes. He believed it would be impossible for him to become a Pretty Cure again and was deeply saddened. Before this happened, he was shown to be overly confident and bold. He wouldn't listen to Cologne when he believed he didn't need a partner for help until Cologne died for him.

His true personality is one of contentment and maturity. He can be stubborn when he sets his mind to something but begins to slowly open up as he spends more time with the titans. He shows a more friendly side to himself by this point. Although generally mature, he can sometimes be oblivious to other's romantic feelings for him.

Powers & abilities:

Cure Moonlight: is the Cure Alter Ego that Yuri transforms into. As the sole protector of the Tree of Hearts in the past, Cure Moonlight is said to be the "The Legendary Warrior" Pretty Cure. Cure Moonlight is also the strongest Pretty Cure said by Kuruchi. Cure Moonlight is capable of fighting with martial arts and uses the attack Floral Power Fortissimo, and also use it for further use than purification. He is capable to fight evenly against Dark Pretty Cure, or thougher enemy with more fighting experience. Along with this, he can use the attack Silver Forte Wave, and a solo version of Floral Power Fortissimo.

When Cure Moonlight's Pretty Cure Seed was destroyed, he lost his power to transform. He can still fight using auxiliary attacks, though it drains his energy since he cannot transform. He then recovered his powers to transform thanks to the Tree of Hearts and uses the lid of the Heart Pot to transform. Cure Moonlight can gain access to a cape which allows him to fly. However he gains his by hitting his brooch on his outfit.

Transformation: First, the Heart Pot explodes, leaving only the lid, and his Heart Seed becomes a complete one. He grabs the lid and shouts "Pretty Cure! Open My Heart!". He then inserts the seed into it and turns the button around and then his face is reflected in the Heart Pot's mirror. The Mirror sparkles and the transformation starts. He spins around in a flurry of purple rose petals as his costume appears. He then flies down in his full outfit as his hair turns light purple. He puts the lid to his chest and it turns into a rose brooch with the Heartcatch insignia and he flips part of his bangs, which sharpens before introducing himself.
