Weiss stepped off the bullhead, and quickly checked the straps of the Chaos Sabre she kept with her, and Hafft Träume, before sighing. It had only 3 months since she lost everyone she knew, unless Winter was still kicking, but would she even be the same? Weiss shook these thought from her head, and grabbed the single suitcase that held her belongings, which was mostly a few outfits, some whoopie cushions, a joybuzzer, a few vials of dust, and a few pictures from her house.

Weiss fell to the ground, after bumping into someone. Weiss pulled herself up, and saw that the person she bumped into was dizzy and on the ground. "Are you alright there, pal" Weiss asked. "Yeah" the girl replied. "Here, let me help you up" Weiss offered, holding out her hand. The girl pulled herself up. "Thanks. I'm sorry for crashing into you" the girl said, "I'm Ruby". "Weiss, and it's alright. I wasn't really paying attention" Weiss said.

Weiss unzipped her suitcase, and was relieved to see everything was alright. "Again, I'm really sorry about that. is anything broken" Ruby asked. "Relax, it's fine. Nothing's broken" Weiss said.

"Ruby, over here. I saved a spot for you" a female voice yelled out. "Oh, that's my sister Yang. You should come meet her Weiss" Ruby exclaimed, practically dragged her. To Weiss, being with Ruby was bittersweet. She was so much like Asriel, that it felt like he was still here, yet it just made her miss him even more.

"Ruby, who's the new friend" Yang asked, "Finally breaking out of you shell, aren't ya sis". "Yang, meet Weiss. Weiss, meet Yang" Ruby introduced the two. "Nice to meet you. How's it feel being Ruby's friend so far, she driving you up the wall yet" Yang said. "It's bittersweet, but I'm used to this kinda thing" Weiss said.

*one boring speech, and rather uneventful night later*

"Weiss!" Ruby exclaimed, shaking Weiss from her thoughts. "Hey, Rubes. Guess we're partners" Weiss said. "Yeah. I was kinda looking for Yang, but you're cool too" Ruby said. "Don't worry, I get what you mean. Family's pretty important, and you want to spend as much time as you can with them" Weiss said.

"So... where are we going again" Weiss asked. "I was following you" Ruby said. "Ruby, if I'm walking somewhere, DON'T follow me. Last time I walked in an unfamiliar place, I was walking through snow for a week, before passing out. I'm lucky that I was near a town, and that the old man happened to be walking nearby" Weiss said. "okay, good to know" Ruby said.

Weiss thought back to how she came across snowdin. She had passed out, nearly died. They had saved her life, despite not even knowing her. And she couldn't even return the favor. She was only able to avenge them, and then bury them. they didn't even have proper grave-stones. just something that Weiss knew that they loved. A loud roar brought Weiss out of her depressing thoughts.

A pack of beowulves had surrounded them. "Sorry" Weiss said, confusing Ruby. Several glyphs appeared behind Weiss, quickly turning into knives. They rained down on the group in front that was too dumb to move out of the way. Ruby burst into rose petals, the wind created picked up the knives, which carved their way through any grimm who Ruby passed.

Ruby stopped, and rested to catch her breath. Weiss used a row of speed glyphs to rush the remaining Grimm, and chopped them up with the single Chaos Sabre.

"That was so cool, right. you went like 'take that', and then I was like 'here I come', then you were like 'you're not going anywhere', and then ta-daa, we killed a pack of Beowulves" Ruby exclaimed, giving a 'play by play' of the battle that had just taken place. "That we were Rubes" Weiss said, ruffling the scythe weilders hair. "Hey" Ruby pouted.

"Well, where too, Rubes" Weiss asked. "Let's go... that way" Ruby said, pointing into the forest. "Alright then, Rubes. lead the way" Weiss said.

Luckily, Ruby had chosen the right direction, and they met up with Yang and a black themed women. The black themed girl reminded Weiss of cats, for some reason.

"Ruby, there you are. what took you so long" Yang asked. "We both thought the other was leading the way, so we basically walked in circles, before we decided Ruby would lead the way" Weiss said. "So who's you're partner" Ruby asked. "This is Blake. Blake, this is Weiss, and Ruby" Yang introduced.

"What piece did you get" Weiss asked. "We got a little pony" Yang said, showing them the piece. "Yang, that's a knight" Weiss muttered. Weiss walked up to the podiums, and grabbed the other white knight. "If I'm right, we'll be on the same team" Weiss said.

*meeting up with future JNPR and stuff*

"Great. we're all here. now we can all die together" Yang said. "Yang, don't say that" Weiss basically demanded. "We just had to get these relics, and get back to the cliff. We don't have to fight" Blake said. "Run and live to see another day. that's a plan I can get behind" Jaune said. "Alr-" A nevermore feather barely missing, stopping Weiss midsentence.

Then, the feather wasn't a feather, but rather a knife. said knife being held by the kid who killed all of snowdin. The bodies all strewn about. "Weiss" They groaned, "Why didn't you save us". "no no no no no no. it's not real. it's not real. it's not real. You're dead. you're dead. they killed you. they killed you. NO. YOU'RE DEAD. STAY OUT OF MY HEAD" Weiss screamed.

When Weiss opened her eyes, she saw that the terrain was back to normal. "Are you... okay Weiss" Ruby asked. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it" Weiss tried to shrug it off. They decided not to pry further.

"So what exactly are we going to do about the grimm" Yang asked, "I can't exactly go punch them". "Weiss, remember the Beowulves. think you can do that again" Ruby asked. "Think you two can cover us" Weiss asked. "Can do" Yang said, cocking her shotgun gauntlets.

After leading their Grimm, the Nevermore, to a cliff that was conveniently really close, that also had a conveniant bottomless pit, the group prepared to attack. Yang and Blake kept the Nevermore distracted, while Weiss summoned a few dozen more knives then they'd probably need. "Okay, fall back you two" Ruby yelled. Yang and Blake did as instructed, and went back to Weiss and Ruby.

Weiss' knives tore through the Grimm's wings, before Ruby launched herself to the cliff with the combined powers of a low-gravity glyph, as well as a sniper shot from her scythe.

Case in point, Super speed, speed glyphs, and the power of sniper shots equal enough momentum to tear a Nevermore's head clean off.
