Part 1
Weiss woke up, stretched, as a loud yawn filled the silence of her room. "Weiss, it's time to wake up. breakfast is done. I've got sugar cookies as well" Asriel, a goat faunus roughly Weiss' age yelled. Throughout Weiss' time here, she had grown close to all the residents, but the Dreemurrs were family. Especially Asriel, her brother. "I'm coming Rei" Weiss called out. Weiss loved to tease Asriel, his reactions were just too cute. "Fine then, 'Weiss-Cream'. Have it your way" Asriel yelled.
Weiss came out of her room, and snuck up behind Asriel, before tickling him to the floor. "Weiss Stop" Asriel managed out between fits of laughter. "Are you sure, you seem to be having fun" Weiss teased. "Yes. Stop" Asriel was practically choking on his laughing fit by now. "Alright, dear brother" Weiss said, before helping her Goat-Bro up.
"So whats for breakfast" Weiss asked. "I tried to make pancakes, but I MAY or may not have accidently mixed the two batters on accident" Asriel admitted, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm sure it'll still be great asri-" "Papyrus is dead" Toriel yelled, breaking the pleasent mood. Weiss' smile slowly turned into a frowned. "What happened" Weiss asked. "He was kill, God-damnit. we're gathering a meeting to decide what to do" Toriel was practically crying at this point. Weiss and Asriel couldn't blame her. Papyrus was cool, Papyrus was everyone's friend.
The town hall was filled with scared chatter, mumbling, and mourning. "everyone, quiet down" Sans shouted, "I'm scared and upset too, but we need to keep this orderly. I'm not saying don't mourn, but try to keep it down. we're basically off the map, and the nearest town that would be able to contact any hunters is over a weeks walk away. And I'm honestly not sure if we have enough guards to be able to take too many grimm.
I believe our best course of action right now is to travel in pairs until we can get this settled. While it's not foolproof, it's the best plan I can think of. Before we end this meeting, does anyone have any other ideas". Sans was known to be lazy, but his quick thinking, and unclouded judgment was what earned him the position of leader.
"How about any questions or concerns" sans asked. When nobody raised their hand or asked anything, sans gave a barely noticable sigh of relief. "Alright. call this meeting adjourned them" sans said.
After the meeting, Weiss and Asriel decided to go walking through the forest not too far from the town. "Well, I'd say everyone needs to 'chill' out" Weiss said. "How could you say that. Do you not care that Papyrus is dead" Asriel yelled. I knew it wasn't because of my pun either. "I'm upset Asriel, don't get me wrong, but... getting worked up isn't going to change anything. I know from personal experience that people can change for the worse due to stress and loss" Weiss said. "I know. I'm sorry. I just can't help by worry" Asriel said.
"Hey... is that a human?" Weiss asked Asriel, pointing to the shadowy figure standing in the center of the path. "Let's ask" Asriel exclaimed, running up. "Rei, I don't think... aw screw it" Weiss muttered, before running to catch up the they young goat boy.
"Hey are you a human" Asriel asked. "I still don't think it's too nice to ask someone something like that" Weiss muttered. The person just stared with impassive eyes. Weiss noticed a faint metallic smell. Specifically blood. Weiss noticed the handle of a knife in the back pocket of the newcomer, which had a slight blood-stain.
"Hey bud, what's with the bloody knife. you depressed or something" Weiss asked with a hesitant grin. If Weiss' assumption was right, they were probably about get murdered, but if her assumption was wrong? Well, she probably pressed some wrong buttons.
A quick expression of shock ran through the newcomers face, before it turned into a sadistic smile. Weiss quickly grabbed Asriel and ran, doing her best to conjure a teleportation glyph. "Weiss, why are we running from the human" Asriel asked. "They are either just a murderer in the wrong place at the wrong time, or they killed Papyrus. either one is bad right now" Weiss explained. "Maybe they fe-" "Asriel not right now. You can't reason with people like that" Weiss said. "But-" "No buts, Asriel... not right now, atleast" Weiss said.
Weiss managed to teleport to her bed. "You okay, Rei" Weiss asked. "Yeah, that was so cool. how did you teleport us like that. was that your semblance. Why would you hid something like that" Asriel asked. "Because it's associated with a bunch of people who nobody here really likes" Weiss said, not continuing further. "But at this point, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be keeping it a secret much longer. Stay here, Rei. I'm going to stop a murderer". "Weiss, let me help" Asriel asked, doing his best to not look scared. "Rei, if I lost you, I don't know what I'd do. so no" Weiss said. "What if I lost you though" Asriel said. Weiss sighed. "Alright, let's go get mom, first" Weiss said, giving a genuine smile.

"So let me get this straight. you found the person you believe to be the one who murdered Papyrus, and then you ran" Toriel asked. "We wouldn't have been able to take them. Besides, Asriel left his 'Chaos Sabres' at the house" Weiss explained. Toriel noogied the two. "It's alright. let's go save the world" Toriel said. Weiss said nothing about the fact that this wasn't the world. "Do not noogie the great Asriel" Asriel begged.
Getting back to the main town was horrific. There were several bodies strewn about, a few were barely recognizable. "How did they do all of this in only a few minutes" Weiss asked in disbelief.
One body stook out to the trio of Dreemurrs in particular. It was Asgore. He was somewhat shy, but was a wonderful man once you got past said shyness. "Dad" Asriel asked, "You're not dead, right? you're just being lazy and sleeping like Weiss, aren't you? you can't be dead". Asriel was practically begging, but no one could awnser his calls. "I'm sorry, Rei" Weiss said, putting her hands on his shoulder.
The trio eventually found the murderer... standing over the body of Sans. "You monster" Toriel scowled. Toriel used her semblance to conjure up five balls of fire behind her. Asriel prepared to call lightning from the sky. Weiss, didn't need to think twice about this. She summoned roughly twenty summoning glyphs behind her, each summoning a single white ethereal knife. Toriel looked shocked, and a little betrayed, but she said nothing.
Weiss summoned a gravity glyph under the murderer, and increased the gravity around them. Their knees buckled a bit under the pressure, but managed to stay up.
Asriel's attack came first, as rainbow coloured lightning rained from above. Then Toriel attacked, using her pyrokinesis semblance to launch the fire at their target. White knives rained down onto the murderer, managing to break their aura, and leave a few cuts.
The murderer jumped foward, weaving around the swords, large knife, and spear weilded by the Dreemurr Trio.
Toriel was stabbed in the abdomen, the knife somehow cutting through her aura like butter. A red glow surrounded the murderer. Weiss' eye's widened in realization. They must get stronger with each kill. That was why they were killing everyone.
Asriel grew unfocused, dropped his blades, and fell to his knees. The murderer's knife cut his head clean off, as that red glow surrounded them once more.
But it didn't matter. They were quickly surrounded by a dome of small glyphs, which quickly turned into white knives. The knives rained in on their body, draining their aura, and practically killed them.
"That's for my all my friends you slaughtered like pigs. this for my family" Weiss said, summoning a knife in each of the murderers limbs. "and THIS is for Asriel" Weiss said, shoving her weapon, Hofft Träume*, into the murderers gut.

Weiss woke up panting, and covered in a cold sweat. 'Damn nightmares' Weiss thought. Weiss figured she wasn't going to get back to sleep, and held the rainbow bandanna that was on her neck up. A few tears were shed, before she was hugging the article of clothing, and tears streamed down her face. She really missed Asriel.
While being a huntress hadn't been in her agenda for the past 4 years, the events a few months ago had reignited that spark. Weiss liked to imagine that the 'Spark' was currently a rainbow flame. it was Asriels iconic coloring, from his scarf to his semblance. These thoughts just made her cry harder.
Weiss got up, put on her white jacket, which now had a slow fade to blue effect on the inside, and a pair of basketball shorts. She put on a pair of red boots, and prepared for the Beacon Initiation tomorrow.
*Hofft Träume translates from German to English as 'Hopes Dreams' and it seemed fitting, with Weiss and Mytrenaster both being german words, as well as Undertale Asriels theme being Hopes And Dreams.
*To imagine Hofft Träume, imagine X-chara/Cross Sans' knive proportions, and add Mytrenaster's dust barrel to the handle.
heres a meme at the end for the length and subjects of this chapter.
