So here it is!

"Mom, I can't believe I am finally going to Hogwarts!" Ginny chattered excitedly.

"Of course my dear." Molly said. "But I am really going to miss you... be well!"

"Sure I will!" Ginny said as she waved her hand at her mother while the train engines started. She blew kisses. "Bye mom! See you in Christmas!"

As the train went, Ginny sat all alone in a cabin. Her brother Ron and his best friend Harry somehow couldn't enter the platform. She blushed at the thought of Harry.

"Oh well." She said "I'll see them around."

Suddenly, she saw a faint figure. A boy, half transparent, in a Slytherin uniform. He stood there for a few seconds, staring at her.

She stared back.

"Umm... Hello?" She stood up. She tried to talk to him, but he disappeared.

Ginny muttered some things about hallucinations and sat back down and looked out of the window. The hills and the lakes were magnificent, and she didn't want to lose track of any of them.

Just then though, she felt something cold on her hand.

She jumped and stared. But where she thought she had felt something, there was only an old diary.

"Strange." She murmured. She tucked the book into her trunk, in hopes that it might lead her back to the mysterious boy in the Slytherin uniform.

Ginny woke up at someone shaking her awake.

"Hmm? Who is it?" She opened her eyes. She was still in her Gryffindor dorm.

But someone was there. Someone who shouldn't have been.

It was the Slytherin boy from the train.

"Follow me." He said, snatching her hand. He opened the diary that was on her lap during the train ride. "I'll lead you to the chamber of secrets."

And with that, they disappeared.

"Where am I?" The overture Ginny asked.

"Welcome home Ginny Weasley." The boy said, smiling. "I'm Tom."

"How do you know me?" She asked.

"Oh, I have my ways." He stepped closer. His pale hands touched her cheek. Gently.

"Look at you." He said. "Only 11.  But beautiful. Priceless. Glowing."

Ginny's heart was beating. Fast. It was technically the second time she was seeing this boy, but he made her heart pump faster than she had ever met. Even more than Harry.

The boy, Tom, took her into a deep embrace. "Meet me every night at midnight. I will be in your room."

She pulled away and felt surprisingly reluctant. "What for?" She asked.

"Just." He shot her a smile. "Lessons and other things."

Ginny walked through the empty corridors. She had been meeting Tom for a while now. Midnight was her favorite time of the day now. It was the only time she was reunited with Tom.

Suddenly, she heard something. A cat's hiss. She turned around to see an ugly female cat.

"You devil!" She caught it. It instantly got paralyzed by a hand that touched it.

"Tom?" She turned around to look at the face she missed the most during the day.

He smiled at her. "Yes my Ginny. Now write 'the chamber of secrets is open once more." He snapped his fingers which brought her red paint.

She nodded and started to write on the brick walls. "The Chamber Of Secrets Is Open Once More..."

Ginny stirred and shivered. She knew she was only half conscious. She couldn't feel. Smell. Hear. See.

Her eyes snapped open. She was in the chamber of secrets.

Something was different today though. For one thing, it didn't feel like night. For another, she wasn't the only one with Tom in this secret location...

"Tom Riddle. You know what my name would be when you anagram it? I am lord Voldemort."

It was Tom's voice. But he wasn't himself anymore. He was you-know-who, the most feared wizard of all the wizarding world.

The thought broke Ginny's heart into pieces. Tom, the nice boy who taught her how to excel in school was lord Voldemort.

"You're lying." Another voice said. A boy. Ginny almost gasped as she recognized who it was.

Harry Potter, facing Tom riddle as an enemy.

"You are only a hologram, made from this hocrux." Harry said, lifting something up. Sound of rustling paper. It was Tom's diary.

She wanted to defend her friend so bad. Maybe her more than friend. But she didn't want to harm Harry either. So, she just lay there, pretending to be unconscious.

She heard Harry and Tom fight. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She loved them both so much. Never wanted to hurt any of them.

They got closer. And closer.

"Haha! You see Potter?" She heard Tom say. "You are no match for me!"

"I don't think so." Harry denied. He placed a bundle of paper, which was provided the diary, on the floor. "If I destroy this, then it will distroy you. All of your soul."

"No!" Tom cried. "That also includes her. Please, promise me you will never hurt that girl."

It took a moment for Ginny to realize that Tom was referring to her.

"I beg you Potter. Spare her."

"I had no intention of hurting her in the first place." Harry responded, amused. "Don't worry. I will only eliminate you. And you will be eliminated from her soul."

"No! Please! Let her save a memory of me."

"Sorry Riddle. I don't know if it works that way." With that, he plonged a fanglike bone into the hocrux diary, making the shimmery Tom disappear.

"No! Ginny! Never forget me!"

"I won't." She murmured silently. She felt a tear on her cheek. She would never be able to see Tom again. At least, the nice Tom that she knew, that she first saw in the train, was gone.

"Ginny? Are you alright?" Harry asked, offering her a hand.

Giny pushed back the last droplets of tears. She had to pretend that she had forgotten Tom. For his sake.

"Oh! Harry! I... I am so sorry! I don't know what happened!" She lied as she stood up with his help.

When Ginny got back to her dorm room, nobody was there. She flopped onto her bed and sighed. She missed Tom already and his speach today about protectiong her was really touching.

She felt a paper note on her bedside table. Out of curiosity, she opened it. It was written in the same neat handwriting that composed the diary.

"Tom..." she whispered, not being able to prevent her tears.

The letter went like this:

My dear Ginny Weasley,

I am afraid the time for us to part is close.
I also believe that by the time you see this, I would be gone for good.
Therefore, I leave a small insignificant note to you, just as a reminder that a boy called Tom Riddle was once part of your beautiful life.

More than anything, I hope our lessons in the chamber of secrets would be a great help to you.
Never knew I would fall for a Weasley... but I did.
And although I am 50 or so years your senior, I wish you would understand that you mattered to me more than any other girl I have met.

Now you must be wondering my true identity.
I am lord Voldemort.
That's right. Sorry if it scared you sweet Ginny.
But I hope that you, of all people, would see the good in him. Will see that he was once a harmless boy called Tom Riddle who was helplessly in love with you.

My Ginny. Although it breaks my heart that I cannot be with you, I am sure you will lead a wonderful life. Remember that whatever you do, I will stand there next to you and support you.

Yours truly,

Tom Riddle.

"Tom?" Ginny looked around her for him in tears. "Tom!"

But of course, he wasn't there.

"I believe in you Tom." She whispered to herself. "I know that you are good all deep down. And I swear that I would never forget you. You will always be with me."

She tucked the little note in her suitcase and went downstairs to join her friends.
