i stuffed my phone in my pocket and grabbed my backpack, leaving the house.

i arrived at school and silently sat down in my first period. i was about to put in my earphones until i heard someone (noisily) sit down next to me. i looked up and was greeted by a grinning face.

"hey you!" he pointed at me and i turned around to make sure no one was behind me.

i tilted my head in response.

"you-you..." he paused like he didn't know what to say. "have no friends."

rude.

i raised my eyebrows. "and?"

"i'm sorry that came out very rude. you see, i just transferred here and i have no friends, and you're always alone, so why don't we become friends?" the boy held out his hand and i examined his face.

he had nice medium-ish hair, with big and long eyes. a small nose and big lips. but the cutest thing of all was the curve of his mouth when he spoke or smiled. how charming.

i took his hand. "min gaeun."

"pretty!"

i laughed sheepishly. "thank you."

for the rest of the period, we talked (and got yelled at a couple of times for doing so) and realized we had a lot in common.

it was lunchtime, and i sat at my normal table with jiyoo.

"can i sit with you gaeun?"

i looked up and saw the smiling face of kim minseok. "yeah."

he sat down and jiyoo looked weirdly at me.

"did you get a...BOYFRIEND???" she asked, shocked.

"no! seriously jiyoo? we just met in first and became friends!!" i replied hurriedly.

"oh. hey. are you single?" jiyoo asked minseok and wiggled her eyebrows.

"um, yeah..." minseok replied uncomfortably.

"you see, i am too. and so is she. you know what this means?" jiyoo asked.

"what?" we both replied.

"WE CAN ALL BE SINGLE LONERS TOGETHER!!!!!" jiyoo squealed.

i rolled my eyes. "sounds fun."

"what's wrong with her?" minseok whispered to me. i shrugged and continued eating my food.

my phone dinged and i looked down at the message, it was from chanyeol. but i ignored it since i didn't feel like replying.

lunch was wrapping up so i went to dump my tray.

"hey! banana girl!!!"

i turned around and was greeted by yoda.

i chuckled when he stopped in front of me.

"i just wanted to tell you that you shouldn't trip on anymore bananas, i won't catch you next time." chanyeol said.

i nodded as i picked up a banana peel on the ground. "got it, yoda."

"yah! you slipped on a banana peel, look who's talking!!"

i laughed again. "you're-you're funny."

he 'hmphed'.

"and thank you for saving me an extremely embarrassing moment park chanyeol." i then left him with a smile on my face. WHAT A GOOD DAY!

science class with park chanyeol came once again. but i found out that minseok was in it as well, so i was happy that i had a friend.

"yah." minseok waved a hand in front of my face. "you keep staring at...that guy."

i snapped back to reality and looked at minseok. i blushed and little bit and put my head down on my desk.

"gaeun likes somebody???!!" minseok yelled out to the classroom, resulting in all their faces turning around to us.

i snapped my head up and hit minseok with my book. "YAH!"

"ay!! yahyahyahayah ow ow owowow that hurts gaeun!!!" minseok said.

i sighed. "i do not!"

"you're such a liar. it's okay gaeun, i won't tell him."

i rolled my eyes back to the front of the classroom.

soon enough, class ended and i was on my way out of the school when somebody called my name.

"MIN GAEUN!!!!"

i spun around. a little minseok was chasing after me.

he caught up to me and caught his breath, panting with his hands on his knees. "why...why did you leave me?"

"because i was going home." i said.

"wanna come over to my house?" he asked.

i hesitated. i haven't been out in a long time... "yeah okay."

"great!" he said as he linked arms with me and pulled me towards a street.

i became flustered at his action at first, but ignored it and after he calmed down, i unlinked my arm.

"this is the direction of my house." i said.

"oh!! we must live close to each other!"

i nodded.

"here's my place." minseok pointed to a small but cute looking house.

"do you live alone?" i asked.

"no, but my parents aren't home until late so i can bring anyone over." he replied. "come in."

i nodded and took off my shoes. the pace was very clean, and cozy looking. i sat down on a nearby couch. "so whatcha wanna do?"

"want to play some video games?" minseok asked.

i nodded. "sure."

"YAH!!! NOOO GAEUN YOU SUCK!!" minseok yelled with his eyes fixed on the screen.

i laughed and continued pressing buttons violently on the game console. i've lost track of time of how long we've been playing, but it was getting dark outside.

the game ended with me winning. "YESSS!!! AHAHAHA MINSEOK YOU'RE BAD AT THIS!!"

minseok pouted. "you must play games a lot gaeun."

i shrugged. "yeah, when i have nothing else to do."

"what time is it now?"

i opened my phone and looked at the screen. "it's 10-WAIT IT'S 10 P.M?! WE'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR 7 HOURS???"

"time goes by fast when you're stuck in the game."

i sighed. "i should go now-"

i heard the sound of keys jingling and the both of us looked at the door.

"who are you?"
