● Part Four ●
POV Ochako Uraraka
That was really some experience again. I could have expected it though. Deku's mom was usually like this. He told me that. But he also told me she stopped being like this after he had moved into the dorms. It appeared not..
I was heading towards the city to get some mochi in the supermarket before going back to my dormroom, but it was a longer walk than I expected it to be. At the moment my legs began aching I arrived at the supermarket. I entered the building and immediately went to big pile of mochi in the back of the store.
I basically knew where they were by heart since this was the only thing I really bought in the supermarket. And besides that, the big pile wasn't hard to miss. I took a few with me and paid for them before I went out of the store again and packed my bag outside on a bench. I looked up at the sky and sighed deeply, as I saw it was already dark outside. Some stars were showing.
I smiled a little when I saw them, and then lifted my bag to walk the way back to the dormrooms. Someone, though, stopped me from walking back. A little kid, a boy, bumped into me at the moment I turned around. His light-blueish hair immediately stood out to me. He looked rushed, like he needed to be somewhere really quickly. I turned around as the kid passed me without saying anything.
A man was waiting for him some 15 feet behind me. He looked friendly as he took the kid's hand and handed him a cookie. I couldn't see the kid's face, but I supposed he was happy as he ate the cookie from what I could see. The man took the kid with him and they calmly turned around a corner. I smiled at it and sighed again, before turning around and walking back to the dorms.
There, no one was to be seen. The ground floor was empty and it was super silent. I figured it might be late already, even though I wasn't gone for that long, and went up to my room. I simply opened the door of my own dorm and closed it behind me, putting my bag filled with mochi on the floor beside me before dropping myself on my bed.
What an exhausting day. What a confusing day. Even though mister Aizawa explained everything along with some other teachers, it felt like I didn't understand any of it just yet. Everything seemed so unclear in my mind. I layed down comfortably, staring at my ceiling.
Then I suddenly frowned at a thought. That kid. The blue-haired kid. It suddenly popped up in my mind. He looked really peaceful with that man he was with. They were the typical father and son. No one in that street who saw them seemed to be having any suspicions. And still...
I couldn't get it out of my head. That feeling. Something must have been wrong. Something was wrong about that whole scenario. Then I turned so I layed down on my side and looked at the wall as I slowly felt my eyes closing from exhaustion.
Oh well.. I was probably just overthinking...
