A panicked need to shut it down
A snap back to reality
from the feelings I had found

A sense of urgency to back away
My brain finally reminded my heart
of the ultimate price it would come to pay

What the hell am I even doing
I should probably make this the last poem

I cant get hurt if Im alone
This heart before was made of stone

This is all on me this time
This is my fault and my fault alone
For a while all my walls cracked
Every reason why to me still unknown

I cant be this person
I need to get my head out of the clouds.
No sunshine was ever given to me
Always just the rain pouring down
