Alphabet tag

Aim:

my aim in life is to work on being a better person and on drawing nearer to God and doing His will. This is what I hope my aim in life is, but in every day life if I'm perfectly honest I'm probably just thinking about getting through the day and doing the day's tasks.

Best time of day:

I'm still trying to figure this out for myself: I can't even decide if I'm a morning person or a night owl. I suppose that indecisiveness is my defining characteristic lol. I feel the most alert between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM so that's when I like doing most of my work if I can. I like mornings a lot if I can make myself get up early because it's nice to hear the birds waking up and see the sunrise but I often take a long time to wake up and  I also really like the night. I do know that I don't like the times between 1 and 4 because I normally feel lethargic and in summer it's just way too hot.

Chores I hate and love:

I hate mopping the floor because having to squeeze the water out all the time is exhausting and besides I haven't figured out how to do it without swinging the handle around and sometimes banging against something. I don't mind dusting or sweeping that much. I normally listen to Swing/ big band music while doing it which is fun although I do sometimes get carried away with the music and start hitting  things a little too hard. whoops 

Dessert/ drink:

Some form of tea. I especially like Peppermint. Also sparkling grape juice if it's very hot.

Essential start of day:

Showering and then having either Coffee or green tea.

Favourite flower:

Snapdragons. They're really beautiful and when I was little I would pretend they really were the heads of dragons. There's a lot of "scope for imagination" in Snapdragons. I also do really like poppies, roses and Orchids and then pretty much all other flowers I've seen except marigolds. I don't dislike them really, I just don't like them as much as other flowers.

Gold/ Silver:

I used to think gold was the best when I was younger, but now I love silver the most.

Heart or brain:

I don't know? I think I go with my heart but  then spend the time afterwards using my brain and overthinking everything.

Instrument:

The flute is my favourite and then afterwards comes the cello. I really love flute and cello duets. I think they sound amazing together.

Jealous in love?

I don't know since I've never been in love.  I might be though...

Kids: 

Nope. But I'm only 20, so maybe in the far flung future🤷‍♀️...

Living arrangements:

I live with my parents and am an only child. Things might change next year since I'm going to university, but my mom says she's going with me haha.

most used word:

Probably 'book'. My mom says I say "You know what sucks ?" a lot, but that's a phrase.

Nickname:

Mouse. I'm actually pretty tall, but I was small for my age in preschool. I really love cheese though so I guess it still fits.

Oldest possession:

An edition of 'The Railway Children' and a miniature copper vase from my grandmother. Her father worked in the copper mines in Zambia, so I think she got it from him when she was a teenager. 

Priority in life:

Normally my studies but my family is very high up on the list :)

Secrets:

I'm quite secretive with people I don't know or even most of my acquaintances but I tell my mom pretty much everything unless someone tells me their own secrets and asks me not to tell.

Time I woke up today:

7:00 AM, but most mornings this gap year I've been getting up at half past 8 or 9 o'clock.

Unique things about me:

I feel faint when people talk about blood or if I see someone hurt but for some reason it. I've even fainted once when I cut my finger and hadn't eaten breakfast, yet somehow this only affects me when humans are involved. I shadowed a vet for a week and watched the operations, even ones where things went a bit wrong and I was totally fine.🤔

Vegetable I love:

Butternut and Pumpkin slathered in butter and spinach with lots of vinegar.

Worst habits:

sitting back on the couch when drinking something and spilling it all over myself and the chair.

Yummy food I make:

Chicken stir fry with lots of herbs and spices. I probably go overboard on the spices actually. I just use basically everything in the cupboard...
