Next Morning.

Sanyukta was getting ready to visit doctor.

Renuka agreed to accompany her to the doctor.

"Sanyukta think again..." Randhir said

"I have..." She said

"Why it is so important for you?" He said

She looked at him.

She didn't answer his question.

She left the room in a while.

Randhir too left for office.

"I wish Randhir were with me..." "When I need him the most..." Sanyukta shed some tears.

"Sanyukta you know how stubborn he is..." "He will surely understand and support you..." Renuka said

"I am not doing all this for myself, Maa" "I am doing it for US" She said

"I totally understand it Sanyukta" "I know Randhir should accompany you to the hospital..." "Par aaj tak usne koi bhi baat itni asaani se maani hai kya" "Woh samaj jayega Sanyukta..." "Aaisa nahi hai he doesn't want baby...but he is afraid" "He cannot afford to lose you" "Tumhe kuch hojaye woh seh nahi payega" Renuka said

"Main janti hu woh mujse bohot pyaar karte hai aur bohot fikar hai unhe meri" "Par yeh baat bhi toh important hai na Maa.." She said

Renuka had nothing to say.

She consoled her and soon they reach hospital.

Doctor did check up and suggested treatments.

"But before moving ahead, I would like to meet your husband Mrs. Sanyukta" "This is something...where a husband and wife both are needed" doctor said

Sanyukta looked down.

"He is out of town doctor" "But he is aware of this..." Renuka said

"That's fine..." "But next time I would really like to meet your husband..." Doctor said

"Hmmm..." Sanyukta nodded.

"Doctor...what about the success rate..." "I mean...will the treatment be fruitful" Renuka asked

"It depends Mrs. Shekhawat" "I cannot comment on this at this point of time"
"It depends how Sanyukta's body responses to the treatment..."
"Success ratio is really good...but then it may differ individually" Doctor said

"I can understand what it feels like Mrs. Sanyukta"
"I can feel it what you are going through..."
"But I would say have faith and don't lose hopes"
"We are there to help you in every possible way" doctor said

"Thank you doctor..." Sanyukta said

"All the very best Mrs. Sanyukta" "We will surely try our best..." "Don't lose hopes" Doctor said

Days rolled on quickly.

Sanyukta got busy in treatments while Randhir in work.

Things were not going so well between them.

Randhir was still against Sanyukta's decision.

There is very minimal communication between them since last few days.

On the other side, Sanyukta was not ready to give up.

As much as she is craving for his support, here faith in getting deeper day by day.

"Haan Maa main thik hu" Sanyukta told Anju.

"Sanyukta i am worried for you beta" Anju said "Maa I am fine..." "I am taking care of myself" "I am fine..." Sanyukta said and closed her eyes.

"God bless you beta..." "Main bhi din raat yaha tere liye prathana kar rahi hu Sanyu..." "Tuje jo chaiye tuje mil jaye.." Anju said

Sanyukta wiped her tears.

"Maa aapse baad main baat karti hu..." Sanyukta said and hung up the call.

Randhir was in same room but he didn't reacted.

Strangely, it's their first marriage anniversary today.

They want to spend this day with each other.

But....

"Chalo let me drop you to hospital today..." Randhir said

"No I will manage" She said

"I am going in same direction" He said

"Okay..." she agreed avoiding further arguements with him.

On the way to hospital.

It's been 4 months now Sanyukta undergoing the treatment.

Not even for once did Randhir accompany her to hospital.

He doesn't support her.

The least she expects is his support.

As he promised her a year before.

On the other hand, Randhir was slowly trying to understand her point.

It's not like he doesn't want baby.
But he doesn't want to lose her at any cost.

He is seeing her efforts since last 4 months.
Her struggle.
The pain she goes through.

How badly he wants to join her in this journey and make it as THEIR JOURNEY.

The car came to a halt.

"Thank you" Sanyukta got out the car.

She got inside while Randhir parked the car.

She was unaware of it.

He too followed her.

"Hey Sanyukta..." Doctor greeted her.

"Hello doctor..." Sanyukta chirped.

"You are looking very happy today" Doctor asked.

"Umm...yes" "It's our first wedding anniversary today" Sanyukta said

"Ohh...wow..." "Congratulations..." Doctor said

"Thanks doctor" She said

"Sanyukta, I must say you are very strong person" "I have seen number of women giving up" "They lose hopes" "They give up..." "But you haven't...." "I know you since last four months..." "I don't see stress, disappointment on your face..." "You are very positive person Sanyukta..." Doctor said

"Nothing is in my hand except being positive..." Sanyukta said

"Yeah right..." "I wish your husband understand this" Doctor said.

"He understands it..."
"But he loves me way too much..." Sanyukta smiled.

"A woman needs her husband's support at this time"
"Being a woman I can understand how tough it was for you..." "He should think about this" Doctor said

"You need him...otherwise all your efforts are going to go in vain" Doctor said

"It won't happen..." Sanyukta assured her.

"He is not there with me...but still he is with me in this" "I missed his presence around me whenever I  come for sessions"
"But...he is my strength"
"He makes me strong..." "He is there with me...and that's why I could do this" Sanyukta said

"You love him so much Sanyukta" "You are really lucky..." Doctor said

"I know..."
"He is bit stubborn...but I know he cares for me"
"You know I have seen him checking my reports"
"Sometimes he reminds me of my medicines" "What more I want...?" She said

"Now that you are not only my patient but my friend too Sanyukta I want to tell you something" Doctor said

"What?" Sanyukta smiled

"Me and my husband have decided to re-unite" She said

"Wow...that's amazing" "Congratulations..." Sanyukta chirped.

"We thought...its better for our kids" "You were right..."
"A child needs both of their parents" "Aaron and I have decided to reconcile..." "Thank you Sanyukta for supporting me..." "Last 4 months were tough for me on personal level" doctor said

"Always Catherine..."
"And I can't thank you enough..." Sanyukta said

"Let's not waste time and head towards treatment..." Catherine said

"Yeah..." Sanyukta said

Randhir was listening to their conversation.

"Excuse me..." a nurse came to him.

"Are you looking for someone?" The nurse asked

"My wife Sanyukta, she is here for treatment..."
"I am waiting for her..." Randhir said

"Ohh...then please a seat Sir..." the lady said

"Thanks..." Randhir said

Randhir waited for sometime.

Soon he saw doctor Catherine coming towards her cabin.

"Excuse me Dr.Catherine..." Randhir said

"Yes..." she said

"My name is Randhir Shekhawat..." "Sanyukta's husband..." Randhir said

"Ohh..."
"Mr. Shekhawat..."
"Glad to see you here..." Catherine said

"How is Sanyukta?"
"Any improvements"
"Any positive chances..." Randhir asked

"Come inside..." "I want to talk to you..." doctor said

Randhir nodded and followed her to the cabin.
