At lunch.

Anju and Sanyukta were serving lunch to everyone.

"Papa...I was thinking that we all should go for dinner tonight" Randhir said

Sanyukta rolled her eyes at him.

"Dinner?" "Ummm...the idea is good ..." Kishore said

"Yes...what you think Maa...?" Randhir asked Anju

"Good idea..." Anju chirped

Sumeet winked looking at Randhir.

Randhir smirked.

"So...it is decided..." "We will go for dinner..." "I will book a table for us..." He said

Anju and Kishore agreed and were happy too.

After lunch.

"What are you up to Randhir?" "What dinner plan and all? Sanyukta asked Randhir

"What...?" He replied casually.

"What is cooking in your head?" She asked him.

"Nothing..." He replied

"Then why this sudden plan of dinner?" She asked

"Just like that Sanyukta..." "We don't need a reason to go for dinner..." Randhir smiled

"But..." before she could speak Randhir got a call.

He got busy on call for sometime.

"Ohhh...yes...coming" He said and suddenly left the room.

He came down to the living area where a guy was waiting for him.

Sanyukta too joined him down.

"Thank you..." Randhir collected his parcel and signed the sheet.

"What is this?" She asked him.

"A laptop..." Randhir said.

"Laptop?" She cock her brows

"Yes for Sumeet..." He said

He called Sumeet to the living area.

"Here...this is for you Sumeet" Randhir handed the parcel to Sumeet.

"Jiju...this..." "I mean..." Sumeet looked at Kishore before taking the parcel.

"This is for you" "A laptop is very necessary..." "It will help you in studies..." Randhir said

Sumeet received the gift.

"Thanks Jiju..." Sumeet chirped

"Iske zarurat nahi thi Damadji..." Kishore said

"Papa...it will help Sumeet in studies" "And also I couldn't get anything for him from Canada" "So I thought...I should gift him a laptop"
"It will be helpful..." Randhir said

"Thanks again Jiju..." Sumeet chirped

"You are most welcome..." Randhir said

Sanyukta was in daze.

She couldn't analyse what's happening around her.

In room.

"Randhir...what is this laptop thing now? She asked Randhir.

"You think by doing all this I will agree to come with you to Canada" She said

"I am not doing all with this motive Sanyukta" Randhir replied

"I have realised that I have certain responsibilities towards your family" "I have some duties towards your parents, your brother" "I am just following my duty" "I saw Sumeet struggling in studies" "That day he went to cyber cafe for taking notes" "So I thought...I should buy him a laptop" "It will help him..." "Also...they can have a video call with us..." "When...we will get back to Canada" He winked

"I am not going to come..." She stated her decision.

"We will see..." Randhir passed a small smile.

In evening.

It was time to execute plan.

"Aaaaaaa...." Sumeet started shouting.

"Aaaaaa....Maaaa...." Sumeet shouted again.

Kishore and Anju heard the shout and rushed to Sumeet.

"Sumeet...." Sanyukta rushed down hearing Sumeet's scream.

Randhir smirked a winning one.

Sumeet was laying on floor holding his left leg.

"Sumeet...what happened?" Kishore rushed to him.

"Papa...my leg..." Sumeet fake a cry.

"What happened Sumeet..." "How did you fall down?" Sanyukta asked

"My leg got slipped Didi..." "It's paining..." Sumeet said

"Ohh god...you should be careful Sumeet" Anju said

"Aare Sumeet...what happened?" Randhir came there

"His leg got slipped" Kishore said

"Ohh god..." Randhir exclaimed

Sometime later.

Doctor came to examine Sumeet.

Randhir managed the doctor too.

"It doesn't look severe but...I would suggest doing a X-ray test" doctor said

"Okay doctor" "But nothing serious. Right?" Kishore asked

"Can't say...depends on X-ray report" doctor said

"Thank you doctor" "We will let you know the reports" Randhir said

Doctor left.

"Sorry jiju..." "Our plan got spoiled" Sumeet said faking a sad face.

"It's okay Sumeet..." "Next time..." Randhir said

"But if not all of us...Didi and you should go for dinner" Sumeet suggested

"Yes Damadji..." "Please don't cancel the plan..." "You both can go for dinner" Kishore said

"Papa...but...Sanyukta..." Randhir fumbled

Sanyukta looked at her father and then at Randhir.

"Sanyu...go beta" "Jao..." "Don't cancel the plan..." "We all will go for dinner some other day" "Damadji...has done arrangements..." "Jao Sanyu..." Kishore said

Sanyu being obedient daughter had to agree with her father.

"Okay Papa..." Sanyukta finally agreed to go for dinner.

"Get ready then...." Randhir told Sanyukta.

She nodded.

She left the room while Randhir and Sumeet shared a look.

Summeet showed a thumbs up to Randhir while Randhir chirped a 'Thank you' to him.

Sanyukta wore a ankle length kurti.

She left her hair open (which usually she does) but today they were lying on her left shoulder.

She decorated her eyes and put a small bindi between her brows.

She tied a watch on right wrist and slide some bangles on left wrist.

"Biwi...ready?" asked Randhir.

She turned.

"Wow Biwi...you look amazing..." He commented

"Can we cancel this plan?" She said

"I have booked a table..." He said

She kept mum.

"Chalo na please" He requested her.

"We will come back early..." He said

She nodded.

She thought of accepting his request.

They reach hotel.

This is the first time they have came out somewhere after their marriage.

Randhir surely wanted to me make her feel special.

He is compensating for last 5 months.

Randhir locked their hands as they moved inside.

It was semi elite hotel.

Randhir doesn't want Sanyukta to feel uncomfortable.

"Randhir Singh Shekhawat..." Randhir told the manager.

"Good evening Sir..." "Your table for two is ready..." the manager said

They were directed towards their table.

Randhir pulled a seat for Sanyukta.

She took a seat and Randhir sat in front of her.

"Thank you..." He said

She passed a smile.

She was looking around the ambience of hotel.

"Can we talk...?" He said to grab her attention.

She looked at him.

"Can we talk please...?" He said

"About...?" She said

"About US..." He said

She looked away immediately.

"Don't you think I deserve a chance Sanyukta..." He said

"I don't know..." she replied

"Please don't do this Sanyukta..." He said

"Randhir...I don't know why are you doing all this" "I really don't understand..." She said

"Whatever I am doing..." "is for US..." "For our future..." Randhir said

"Why?" "Suddenly you started thinking about our future..." "Why Randhir?" She said

"I know I was wrong..." "But trust me Sanyukta I have realised my mistake..." He said

"May be..." "May be your realised it Randhir...but..." "But I fear...." "I fear now..." "I have had enough in last 5 months..." "What if everything gets repeated again...?" She said

"I know you don't trust me..." "And it's my fault that you don't...." "But I at least deserve a chance..." He said

"I know you are hurt..." "You are upset with me..." "I am sorry for everything..." "But give me a chance..." "I want to save our marriage...." "I want to live a happy life with you..." He said

"Can I ask you something?" She asked

"Yeah..." He said

"Why did you marry me Randhir?" She asked

There was a silence between them for sometime.

"Tell me....why did you marry me?" She asked again.

"Because I liked you..." "During our initial meetings, I had really liked you...." He confessed.

"Then what went wrong?" She asked

"Sanyukta...." "It's my fault..." "I never understood the importance of marriage" "No Sanyukta, I never hated you or disliked you..." "I never...." "But...but I really didn't knew what marriage means?" "I thought its just a ceremony" "A ritual...a simple ritual..." "Never understood the depth of it..." "I thought it will not chance my life..." "It will not impact my life..." "I took it casually..." "I thought..everyone gets marry so did I..." "I never understood that...a marriage require efforts, understanding..." "It requires our involvement..." "In all this I was unknowingly hurting you..." "I failed to understand you expectations" "I never cared for your feelings..." "I was in wrong mindset..." "We both are different people..." "We are individuals...and marriage doesn't affect our individuality" "We will live our own lives" "I was under wrong impression..." "No one told me...and I never bothered to know as well..." "But now..." "I know it..." "Our lives are entangled with each other..." "I have understood what.. marriage means"
He poured heart into his honest confession.

"What changed your point of view Randhir?" "What made you change your thoughts about marriage?" She asked him.

"You know Randhir...." "I got habituated with your attitude..." "Some days later, it became a habit..." "I thought...something is wrong in me...that...you don't..."
"But...the truth is something else and I was blaming myself..." She said

"You are not wrong Sanyukta..." He said

"Randhir....I don't want you to accept this marriage forcefully"
"Just because we are married and don't have any other option...I don't want you forcefully follow our marriage"
"A forceful bond...is not going to do any good to us" She said

"We always have a way..." She said

Randhir was deeply hurt by her words.
What does she mean?
Means she was happy with their separation.
Randhir couldn't hold anymore.

"So you were happy with the separation?" He asked

She didn't replied.

"I know you were not..." "You signed papers because Dad asked you ...or I should say...forced you..."
"But your heart never wanted to do that..." He said

She looked at him.

"Because...you love me..." He said

Sanyukta's eyes became moist.

"I know...you love me..." He said

"You signed papers because Dad asked you...not on your own wish..." "You love me Sanyukta...and you can't ever think of such a huge step of ending our marriage"
He read her heart.
He spoke her feelings.
