Day turned into night. 

Sanyukta was spreading a mattress for her just then Randhir came there and grabbed the mattress from her hand. 

She looked at him in shock. 

"You will not sleep on floor" He declared 

"Give it back to me..." She rebelled.

 Randhir threw the mattress in the corner of the room. 

"Randhir...what are you doing" She shouted. 

"Bed is enough for two people to sleep" Randhir said 

"Why are you doing all this?" She asked him. "You know why..." He said 

"See Randhir...you are wasting your time here" "Please go back to Canada" She said 

He nodded in NO. 

"You think by doing all this I am going to come with you" "I will agree to come with you" "No Randhir...never" She said 

Randhir stood there quite. 

"There is nothing left now" "Everything has ended" "And I very well know Harsh Papa forced you "Papa has forced you...." "I know you will change again..." "You will behave like that again..." "Once we are back to Canada you will change...and start behaving like you behaved earlier" "Honestly Randhir I don't have enough energy in me to handle it" "I have had enough...." "Please go back..." She said 

"Don't you see the change in me Sanyukta" "I have traveled so far" "I came here ...to Delhi...for you..." "I ate those samosas and kachoris to make Maa and Papa happy and not let them know about our problems" "Don't you feel it Sanyukta..." "I have realized my mistakes" "I know I have hurt you..." "I have realized what wrong I was doing..." "I have to rectify my mistakes" He said

 He took her hand into his. 

"You have given everything you can give to our marriage" "I was stupid not to understand it..." "No Sanyukta...nothing has ended" "I am here to save our marriage" "I am here to take my wife back with me..." "And trust me...I have come here on my own wish" He said 

She looked up at his face.

 "How can I trust you..." She said 

"For once I did, you broke my trust..." "How am I going to trust you again...?" She asked him. 

Randhir understood how deeply he has hurt her. 

"You...you cheated on me..." she started crying. 

"You were with some girl that night..." "Aapne dhoka diya muje..." "Kyu?" She cried bitterly. 

"Kya?" "Kya keh rahi ho tum..." Randhir was perplexed

 She pushed him back. 

"That night in Vancouver, you were with some girl for whole night" "Why did you do this to me Randhir...?" "Also I saw you hugging a girl in restaurant" "You cheated on me...how am I going to trust you" She said 

Randhir realized that she had misunderstood him. 

Situations are to be blamed to create misunderstandings between them. 

And somewhere...he is responsible too. 

"Listen..." 

He moved forward but she took steps back. 

"You are misunderstanding me Sanyukta" "Listen to me..." He said

 She turned to go but Randhir grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him. 

"Enough...." He raised his voice. 

"Don't assume things and misunderstand me..." He said 

She was frighten now. 

"You are taking it all wrong..." "I have never cheated on you for anyone Sanyukta" "I don't have any other girl in my life..." He made it very clear to her.

 "I never had any girlfriend in my life..." "I was never interested in any girl" " NOT BEFORE OUR MARRIAGE AND EVEN NOT AFTER OUR MARRIAGE" He said 

"Even criminals are given a chance to put forward their statements" "I deserve a chance too..." "Stop assuming things and misunderstanding me" "You have seen something...which is not true at all..." He said

 "Who was that girl you hugged in restaurant?" She asked with little authoritative voice.

 "A college friend" He replied straightly. 

"Myra, her husband Sam both were there in the hotel" "They are my college friends" "We met after so long" "Myra and Sam were there to celebrate their first wedding anniversary and soon to welcome their first baby" "I was congratulating them..." "Yes we shared a friendly hug....THATS IT" "Nothing more than that..." He made it clear to her. 

"Then that morning...." He didn't let her complete. 

"After your outburst that night...I went to bar" "I gulped some shots and was slowly losing my senses" "A girl came there and took me to the swimming pool area" "She was throwing herself on me...but I had still some sense left in me" "I pushed her hard...and she rushed from there" "Nothing happened..." He said

 He slightly pulled her close to him. 

"Believe me Sanyukta..." "I am yours..." He said looking straight into her eyes. 

His gaze was intense one and filled with affection. 

For a moment she melted. 

She started forgetting things that happened between them. 

He stepped forward and now he was much close to her. He gently cupped her soft cheeks. Not for a once did they break the eye lock. 

He rubbed his thumb on her soft cheeks. 

It made her close eyes immediately. 

This was much awaited moment. 

A need. A crave of heart. 

A tear rolled down her cheek and she pushed him back. 

Randhir opened eyes in jolt. 

"Still...I can't trust you again" She said

 "Sanyukta...please..." He requested her to give him a chance. 

"This sudden change in you makes me wonder Randhir" "I am afraid of trusting you" "Why are you doing all this for me...?" "When you had time...you didn't do anything" "And now when the time is gone...you want me back in your life" "Why?" "Jab maan kiya paas bulaya jab maan kiya ignore kar diya" "Main janti hu aap aaise hai nahi..." "Aap yeh sab drama kar rahe hai..." "Please stop all this..." She said 

"I want to save our marriage" He stated 

"But why do you want to save it" "Why now?" "For you....it never existed" "It was casual...you never respected our marriage" "Phir aab kyu...?" She asked 

"Aap kyu le jana chahte hai muje vapas?" "Aur kya karu main vapas aake?" "Randhir you very well know we haven't shared anything" "We were like strangers..." "Then why all of sudden you want to back" "You don't want, you don't like anyone interfering in your life then why?" "I was never part of your life and now when I am away...why such sudden change Randhir" "Kya samju main?" "Kyu vishwas karu main aap par?" "I don't know your motive Randhir" "What provoked you...and you came here" "But I just know one thing..." "We were never meant to be..." "There is nothing left now..." "Just...just go back..." She said and left the room.

 Randhir was hurt by her words. 

Yes, she is right. 

She is absolutely right on her part. 

But Randhir was also firm on his decision. 

He know he has to mend a lot. 

He has to convince her. 

He won't step back. 

He has got a motive to bring her back to his life. 

It is not casual this time. 

He is serious. 

He will do anything and everything for her now. 

Their marriage is his priority now.
