Renuka helped Sanyukta in getting ready for the party.

"It's totally fine to wear a sari in party Sanyukta"
"Sari is internationally recognised outfit.." Renuka said

Sanyukta agreed to it.

Renuka curled Sanyukta's hair a bit from bottom.

Sanyukta highlighted her pretty eyes with eyeliner and some mascara.

She applied a light shade of red lipstick.

Renuka help in doing some touch up.

Sanyukta put a small red dot of red lipstick as sindoor.

Clad in wine red saree with velvet black sleeveless and backless blouse, Sanyukta looked absolutely gorgeous.

"Oh my god...just look at you..." Renuka commented

Sanyukta turned to look at herself in mirror.

She blushed a little on thinking how would Randhir react seeing her today.

Renuka placed a small dot of kajal behind her ear.

"Kisiki nazaar na lage..." Renuka said

Sanyukta smiled.

She was waiting for Randhir and he came.

He entered into their room and straightaway went to washroom without even noticing her.

Sanyukta felt little bad but she didn't lose hopes.

He got ready in now time.

Sanyukta couldn't help but adore her handsome husband.

Not that Randhir didn't notice her.
He did.
But he failed to see the change in her. He remain unaffected.

The ride till the party venue was silent as usual.

As expected, Randhir didn't even look at Sanyukta.

While she had started losing hopes now.

They reached the venue.

Sanyukta found couples entering with their hand in hand.

"Can she expect him to do the same?" "Ummm no..." He disappointed her yet again.

He walked and she followed his foot steps.

They entered and Sanyukta saw bunch of new people around her.

She didn't know anyone.

She stood in corner adoring her husband.

Her eyes were moist because she was left alone in party.

No one was talking to her and she don't know anyone there. They all are new for her.

Randhir left her alone and was busy in talking to other people.

Sanyukta felt bad.

She wanted to ran away from there but she can't.

Did he forget that his wife too has accompanied him to the party.

She thought.

But then she remembered his words.

NOT TO EXPECT ANYTHING FROM HIM.

And that's when she realise all her efforts have gone into vein.

She got dressed up to look beautiful for him.

She took so much efforts for him.

She wanted to compliment him and his personality.

Her intention was not to embarrass him in the party.

Her heart broke.

Her eyes were moist.

He didn't even spare a look at her.

He forget that she too exist in this party.

Sanyukta wiped her tears before they fall.

No doubt she was looking stunning.

Many eyes were set on her and one of them was Mr. Steve.

"Hey young lady.." came Steve there

Sanyukta stepped aside.

"You look stunning..." He commented

Sanyukta forced a smile.

"Why are you standing alone...come lets dance..." He said

"No Thanks..." She said

"Come..." He grabbed her hand forcefully and dragged her with him.

"Please...I don't want to dance..." She rebelled.

"Just for few minutes..." He said

He grabbed her bare waist forcefully

"Please leave..." She said

Steve touched her bare back and his hand touched string of her blouse.

The bastard shameless creature pulled the string of her blouse.

Sanyukta realised it.

He pushed him with all her strength.

Steve was taken aback.

Sanyukta slapped Steve.

Everyone looked at scene and Randhir realised something happened.

"How dare you?" She shouted

She pasted one more slap on his face.

Randhir ran to her.

"What happened?" He said

She looked at Randhir.

"Mr. Steve...what happened?" Randhir asked him.

"He misbehaved with me...so I protected myself..." Sanyukta said

She covered her back with the open end of saree and left the place.

Randhir realised the situation.

In no time police came and arrested Steve for misbehaving with Sanyukta.

Sanyukta came home.

Unfortunately, Harsh and Renuka were out.

She rushed to their room and closed the door. Randhir too reach home.

"Sanyukta...open the door" Randhir shouted from outside.

"Sanyukta...please..." He banged the door She didn't listen to him.

"Sanyukta...please I request you...open the door" He said

She kept on crying but didn't open the door.

"Open the door dammit it..." He shouted in anger.

Still she didn't open the door.

"See Sanyukta, Mom and Dad will be back anytime"
"I don't want to create scene in front of them" "Unhe phirse lagega maine kuch kiya and you are crying because of me" "Open the door" He said

Sanyukta couldn't believe his words. Really? After all that happened in party he still thinks he is no where at fault.
She was shattered.

"Open the door..." He shouted again.

Sanyukta got up wiping her tears.

She finally open the door.

Randhir sigh in relief.

"Are you okay?" He asked She just nodded. "Steve is arrested" "Now he won't do anything..." He said

She didn't responded to him.

"Say something...?" He said

"So you were waiting for Steve to do something so that you can take action against him" She said

"Sanyukta...see...I..." he couldn't complete his sentence as she left from there.

She changed into her regular clothes.

"Are you okay?" "Did he hurt you anywhere...?" Randhir asked with concern. His words,eyes and intention were really genuine this time.

"I am fine..." She said avoiding him completely.

"I have talked to police..." "They are looking into this matter..." "Steve will get punishment..." He said

"Hmmm..." she replied uninterestedly.

She sat on bed.

Randhir went to her.

"Mom Dad..." he said

"Don't worry..." "I won't tell them...." She said

She lay on bed and closed her eyes thus avoiding him.

Randhir changed and lay next to her on bed.
. Sanyukta was sobbing lightly.

She was trying to control her tears but...she couldn't.

Randhir couldn't sleep whole night.

He remembered when Sanyukta told him about Steve.

He took her words casually that time.

"That bastard deserves punishment..." He concluded
