After a long and tedious journey of 20 hours, Shekhawat family finally reached Toronto, Canada.

"Come beta..." Renuka said

A nervous Sanyukta stepped out of the car only to see a big and beautiful mansion in front of her eyes.
She read the name "Shekhawat Mansion"

The mansion was decorated beautifully to welcome new member of Shekhawat family 'Sanyukta'

The servants of the house did arrangements for the welcome ceremony of Sanyukta.

Renuka performed aarti as per Indian tradition of welcoming new daughter in law.

Renuka put a tilak on Sanyukta's forehead.

"Welcome beta..." Renuka said

Sanyukta was warmly welcomed in her new house.

Sanyukta look around her big HOME.

It was beautiful.

"You like the house?" Renuka asked

"Yes..." She chirped.

Randhir without wasting any time rushed to his room.
Sanyukta find it weird.

Harsh and Renuka looked at each other in disappoinent.

Harsh signalled Renuka to take Sanyukta to the room.

"Come beta...let me show your room" Renuka said

Renuka took Sanyukta to Randhir's room.

"This is your room" Renuka said

The room was HUGE.
Sanyukta's eyes widen seeing its lavishness.
The room has a big terrace attached to it.
There is swimming pool and a beautiful garden attached to the room from other side.

"This is your room now..." Renuka said

Sanyukta smiled at her.

Renuka left Sanyukta giving her sometime to admire her new world.

Sanyukta was checking their room.

"It's beautiful..." she chirped

Just the door of washroom opened.

She found Randhir coming out buttoning his shirt.

She admired her husband for sometime.

Randhir tied a blue tie around the collars of his shirt.

He did his hair and collected his laptop and other essentials.

"Randhir..." she said

"Hmmm...." he didn't even turned to look at her.

"Aap kahi ja rahe hai?" she asked

"Yeah, office..." he said

Her face turned sad one.

He grabbed his coat and left the room without even sparing a look at his newly wedded wife.

Sanyukta felt bad.

She composed herself thinking he must be having some important work in office.

She got fresh and wore a simple kurti and salwaar.

She decorated her partings with vermilion.
She smiled looking at her image in the mirror.

She touched her mangalsutra remembering their wedding rituals.

Sanyukta gently wiped her wet hair with towel remembering their first meet.

Sanyukta liked Randhir in their first meet itself.

She smiled remembering the memories of their pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies.

She came down and joined Renuka in kitchen.

"Maa..." she said

"Come Sanyukta..." Renuka said

Renuka helped Sanyukta in doing a ritual called 'Chula poojan'.

A newly wedded girl will do small pooja of the gas burner and will come something for the first time at her new house.

"Maa...what should I cook?" She asked
Renuka.

"Whatever you wish beta..."
"Its your home now..." Renuka said

"Maa...can I ask you something?" Renuka said

"Yes..." Renuka said

"Maa what does Randhir like?"
"I mean in sweet..." She said

Renuka smiled.

"He doesn't like sweets much but still...he loves kheer"
"He is diet conscious"
"But he likes kheer" Renuka said

"Can I prepare kheer then...?" She asked

"Of course..." Renuka said

Sanyukta beamed into a smile.

Sanyukta prepared kheer for everyone.

She served it in lunch to Harsh and Renuka.

She kept some kheer into utensil for Randhir and joined them to the table for lunch.

"Maa...when will Randhir come back?" She asked

Harsh looked down in disappointment.

"Soon..." Renuka managed the situation

"Okay..." Sanyukta replied

Harsh and Renuka looked at each other.
They feel bad of their son's behaviour.

Later in afternoon.

Randhir was in office working on some files.

His friend and employee of his company Parth came to meet him.

"Hey Randhir..." Parth said

"Hey Parth...come..." Randhir said

"Randhir, what are you doing in office?" Parth said

"Then where should I be..." Randhir said

"At home, with Sanyukta Bhabhi..." Parth said

"Mom and Dad are there with her at home" Randhir replied

"Come on Randhir..."
"You guys are newly married"
"She is your wife..."
"Spend sometime with her..." Parth said

"So what?"
"How does it matter?"
"I didn't find anything new in it?"
"My life is still the same... Nothing changed"
"We got married...so?"
"Everyone do so...what's the big deal in that?" Randhir said

"How can you take this casually Randhir?"
"Life changes after marriage"
"You have a wife now"
"A soulmate"
"She is your companion for life now" "She will be there with you forever now" Parth said

"Nothing has changed in my life after our marriage and I won't let any change take place"
"It's normal..."
"I will live my life as I want and she will live her life as she wishes"
"And I don't need any soulmate or companion to live life"
"I am alone capable of handling my life" Randhir said

"I can't believe this Randhir"
"Then why did you marry her?" Parth said

"For Mom and Dad..."
"They wanted me to marry her so I did" Randhir said

"I can't believe this Randhir"
"Think about her Randhir"
"She left her house and parents for you"
"She must be having some expectations from you"
"How can you do this?" Parth said

"I didn't ask her to leave her parents for me"
"She could have stayed there in Delhi" "I didn't ask her to come with me"
"I didn't ask her to keep expectations or any hopes from me"
"I don't have any hopes any expectations from her....she shouldn't have it from me" Randhir said

"You are spoiling her life Randhir" Parth said

"She is independent and can take decisions of life herself"
"If she wishes...she can stay with us" "If she wants...she can go back to India"
"I don't really care..." Randhir said

Parth was disgusted with Randhir's behaviour.

Evening rolled on.

There is big party arranged by Shekhawats to welcome Sanyukta.

Sanyukta was in her room and waiting for Randhir to return.

Renuka saw her and felt bad for her.

"Sanyukta..." Renuka went to her.

Sanyukta composed herself and forced a smile on face.

"I hope you took some rest in afternoon" Renuka said

"Yes Maa..." Sanyukta replied

"I am sorry for Randhir's behaviour" Renuka said

"No Maa please..."
"Don't say sorry..." Sanyukta said

"I know what you are feeling right now Sanyukta"
"He should be here with you..."
"You guys are newly married couple and..."
"I really feel bad Sanyukta..."
"I am sorry" Renuka said

"No Maa..."
"I am fine...please don't say this"
"I am not feeling bad at all" She lied.

"I know Maa...Randhir has work and responsibilities"
"I understand his commitment and dedication for his work"
"Trust me...I respect this quality of his"
"I am fine with it..."
"Trust me Maa...I am fine" Sanyukta said Renuka cupped her face.

"We are glad to have you in our family" Renuka said

Sanyukta smiled.

"We have a party tonight"
"Harsh has arranged a welcome party for you"
"Many of our friends,business partners and employees of the company will come to meet you" Renuka said

"Maa but..."

"Don't be nervous beta..."
"They are all OUR people"
"just don't worry..." Renuka said

"Maa...umm...I...I was..."
"I mean...Can I wear a saree...?" She said

"Yes of course..."
"Whatever you feel like..."
"You are comfortable..." Renuka said

"Thanks Maa..." she said

"Get ready...and come down" She said

"Maa...Randhir?" Sanyukta asked

"He will be back soon"
"Harsh has called him...don't worry he will come" Renuka said

Sanyukta smiled brightly.

The party started.

Harsh and Renuka were waiting for Randhir to return.

Harsh and Renuka welcomed guests.

The party was in full swing when Shekhawat's daughter in law climbed down catching eye balls of every person present there.

Clad in blue saree Sanyukta looked beautiful.

Her beauty lies in her simplicity.

"Randhir...you are lucky"
"You are missing this...and its your lose" Parth mumbled in heart seeing Sanyukta.

"Come beta..." Renuka held her hand.

"Ladies and gentleman"
"Thank you for coming and welcoming the new member in our family Sanyukta" Harsh said

Harsh and Renuka introduced Sanyukta to the guests.

"He is Parth"
"Randhir's best friend" Harsh said

"Hello..." Sanyukta chirped

"Hello Bhabhi...welcome" Parth said

Sanyukta's eyes were teary.

Parth noticed that.

Harsh introduced Sanyukta to other guests.

Sanyukta has pasted a forced smile on her face and greeted everyone.

Her eyes were on the main door in hope.

"Where is Randhir, Mr Shekhawat?" one of their friends asked Harsh

Harsh had no answer to it.

"He will join us soon" Harsh said

The party came to end still Randhir didn't come.

Sanyukta felt bad.

Her heart broke.

Yes, she was expecting Randhir with her to the party and it's nothing wrong in it.

He is her husband and it's he who should be introducing her to their friends and business partners.

Sanyukta skipped dinner and went to her room.

Renuka,Harsh and Parth felt bad for her.

"I don't know what's wrong with Randhir" Harsh mumbled.

Sanyukta closed the door and shed some tears.

Yes, she was hurt.

She was alone in party.

Everyone was asking about Randhir to her but she had no answer to it.

Is it much to expect?

They are just 4 days old married couple.

Couples after marriage spent so much time together but here...there is no sign of Randhir.
