SIXTY FIVE

Carrington Hill

I found myself on my own once I woke up the next morning, my body only covered in a long, oversized shirt under the white hotel quilt. It was bright and raining outside when I turned my head to the big windows that were protected with the curtains, the heel of my palm rubbed the sleep out of my eyes easily. A yawn fell from my lips as I pulled the quilt higher up on me, I leaned over the bedside table to grab my phone and unlock it.

I grinned to myself as I locked it again and placed it screen down on my stomach. I crossed my arms over my eyes and giggled quietly at the memories from yesterday and last night. It was all so surreal and I was so happy. Everything seemed to have been working out nicely and I was pretty content with life then.

I mean, I had a pretty successful career and found the love of my life. Things couldn't have been any better and frankly, I was alright with that.

My lips curled up as soon as my gorgeous boyfriend came into view, his body hidden under the soft material of the robe that the hotel provided us with. After all the money he paid, I thought that was an essential. His goofy smile made me giggle as he climbed on the bed, his arms and legs on either side of me. Harry leaned down and kissed me, his lips soft and warm. They tasted of toothpaste a little.

"Good morning, pretty girl," he nudged his nose against mine as his words filled my ears. I moved my arms around his neck and smiled a little as I kissed him again. "Mmm," he hummed into the kiss quietly which caused my lips to curl upwards.

I loved when he did that.

"Good morning."

"Mine's pretty good if I say so myself," he giggled in my neck, goose bumps covered the skin and my lips slightly parted as he pressed a kiss on it. I licked my lips which quickly took up the shape of an 'o' as a soft moan escaped. "I wanna love you. Can I?"

"You can," I sighed, my smile wide as the acrylics on my nails ran along his back, still covered with his robe. "Please, do," I added.

And he did. He loved me like he did last night, and before that. He made it special as his skin glided against mine, hands wandered all over my body until it finally reached to mine. He made it special with his kisses, touches and look that he blessed me with. He knew me like no one ever before, which, to me, was crazy. We were only about to roll onto a year of our anniversary, yet I thought he knew me better than anyone.

Harry moaned right next to my ear as I felt him twitch inside of me, his body tiredly fell on mine as his heart was beating like it was about to break out of his chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he hid his face in mine, mouth open as he was gasping for air. I kissed his shoulder and it felt warm under my lips. With my fingers running through his hair, long nails gently scratching his head, he let out a content sigh and I smiled.

"Elle," he murmured. My eyebrows furrowed at the name, my mind quickly trying to put pieces together to figure out who he could have been on about.

"Hey?" I asked, confused as to why he said it so randomly.

"I love that name," he confessed though I was still confused. "What do you think of it?"

"It actually always had been in my top favourite names," I told him honestly.

"So, you wouldn't mind naming our baby girl Elle, right?"

"No, I'd love that," I smiled. "What about a boy name?"

"Hmmm," he hummed while he laid down next to me then sat up not a moment later. I pushed myself up on the bed as well and saw as he took the condom off. "I haven't really thought about boy names. I just somehow feel like if I'm ever going to have children, my first born will be a girl."

"I always thought the opposite. The first child in my family has always been a boy, apart from my mum's side. I think my first kid will be a boy."

"We'll see," he winked at me. "Do you wanna come shower?"

"I need it so yes," I answered and got out of bed. Then as soon as I stood on my legs, I hissed. "Fuck."

"You okay?" he asked me as I looked up. Harry was half way in the bathroom, his round back side caught my eyes for a minute or two then they rolled up to his pretty face.

"No," I ended up saying with a little pout and walked over to him, clearly not how I would have done it normally. "You mess me up whenever we have sex."

"Aw, baby girl," he wrapped his arms around me tightly and picked me up. My arms hugged around his neck as I let him take me in and then sat me up on the cold surface next to the sink. "Would you like to take a hot bath with me?"

"I don't like baths," I scrunched up my nose and Harry booped. "Plus, don't we need to check out soon?"

"The hot water should help you a little and no, we have time," he kissed me on the lips with his hand against the side of the sink. "I didn't pay almost twenty-four grand to stay here for us to be out by ten am."

"Twenty-four grand, ha ha ha," I repeated back what he had said, clearly shocked by the amount of money he mentioned. Don't get me wrong, I knew that suites like these in five-star hotels don't cost fifty quid then again, I couldn't quite believe he really gave out that amount for a room. For the night.

"It was twelve for each of us and the cunts charge per person per night," he rolled his eyes as the words left his mouth. I punched his shoulder when I realised how he referred to the employees and he dramatically brought his hand to the area I attacked. "Don't hurt me, her Majesty! Please have some mercy on me."

"Get that bath running and we'll see if I can go easy on you or not," I said as I made sure to sound as posh as I possibly could.

"Yes, Miss!" he saluted, butt naked and then turned around and did what I asked him to.

The bath was full of water and bubbles, and, well, us two. It was massive and it had massage outlets in it or whatever that we turned on and it made the water squirt out. It was honestly the best feeling ever after my competition yesterday and all the other, rather intimate activities Harry and I had done after it. And just about an hour ago.

"So, Caitlin was wondering if you'd like to do an interview with me one day?" Harry spoke up a few quiet moments later. I was sitting between his legs, my back against his front as my head rested on his shoulder and he pressed soft kisses on my neck and shoulder.

"Any reason as to why?" I asked as I drew a circle in the water with my nail.

"She says I gotta keep you in the loop and stuff. She knows–, it's funny, actually," he let out a chuckle. "She told me she did a bit of research on you, so she knows you have experience in terms of being online and exposed to the public. I thought that was weird but nothing out of the ordinary."

"So, why do I need to give an interview?"

"Just so that we confirm, us, I guess. I'm not entirely sure. She didn't really specify why. All I was told was that I need to keep you in the loop and that if you plan on being my girlfriend for longer than she thinks you will, well, then you gotta get used to my... fame."

"Mhm," I responded with not much. I couldn't, well, I didn't really know what to say. "I can do an interview if I have to but I'd prefer not to be exposed like that. Then again, I'm probably gonna have to be exposed like that, don't I?"

"Eventually," he said. "Might not, though. Really depends on... well, our choices."

"Do you want me to do an interview?"

"I can't say," he chuckled against my shoulder then pressed his lips on my skin. "It's your choice, mainly."

"Why can't you say?" I asked seriously. "I mean, I want to know if you want me to do one or not. Cos, if I was to say yes, I will do one and then say something that I shouldn't, I'll embarrass you or something which will make you look shitty in the public's eye. Not to mention how much more Caitlin would hate me."

"First of all, you don't give yourself enough credit for how clever you actually are," he said with a serious tone. "You finished university with a first-class degree, you have a ton of common sense and you're just so clever. Like, cleverer than me."

"Stop it," I giggled. "What I was saying is that I might slip up, I might say something that I shouldn't because I'm so nervous. I don't know. I'm not good with talking in front of people. I always dreaded presentations, all throughout education, though I always did good," I wondered. "But also, I knew what I was saying because it was always on a specific topic."

"Angel, you're stressing over it," he spoke between soft kisses pressed on my skin, his breath against me and it made me shiver.

"What do I do then? You say you can't say what I should do and I don't know what I should do but your manager wants me to do an interview."

"Listen, I didn't bring this up to purposefully make you stressed. It was to inform you of what you need to know and prepare for," he answered. "Now, let's get out of his bath because the skin on my fingers gone all wrinkly and I have so much time before that should actually happen."

"You really are getting old, babe," I laughed as I moved forwards a bit and awkwardly turned around in the bath tub. "But I agree, let's get out. I need food."

Once we got out, we ordered room service, which I knew costed almost as much as our stay at the hotel. I always thought it was overpriced but I guess they have to make money somehow to keep the business up and running.

Soon after that, we got dressed and eventually checked out with a little frown on my face at the thought of having to get back to my life and out of the day dream that was the last few hours in the hotel. But to be honest, any time I spent with Harry was amazing.
