Interrogation

July 2nd, 11:30.
The prison, female section.

Himiko Toga was just sitting in front of a stark white table, while she tapped it and whistled, like an excited child. The prison's uniform didn't suit her at all, despite all the flattery she had received from the rest of the female convicts. She couldn't wait to show them her favorite games. They seemed so cute.

Right now she had been brought to one of those white empty rooms for interrogation. She was wondering if she would meet someone interesting in the process when someone entered the room... and it wasn't any person. Her cheeks were colored and she grinned at the sight of the Pro Hero who had come to see her.

"IZUKU! I'm so happy to see you!" she cried, getting up and extending her hands towards him. Deku was relieved she was chained to the table. As unnerved as he felt he sat at the other side of the table.

"Hello, Toga..."

"Himiko" she grinned so widely Deku thought she could eat him. None could deny Toga was good looking, but every time she put her amber eyes on him he felt like wolf's prey.

"Hello, Himiko..." he restarted. "As you already know, you are here to be interrogated about a recent episode that took place in a Mexican mob's bar. If you cooperate, you shall be treated fairly, despite your implication". For the last week he had investigated all he could about the last movements of the League of Villains. That is, when work and the preparations for the wedding allowed him. The stress he accumulated because of both things was making no good to him, but he wouldn't give up.

"Aww, do we have to talk about that? We haven't seen each other in a while! I hope you are taking Ochako to nicer places..." she commented sending a kiss to whoever was watching them through the big mirror in the wall.

"This is important, Himiko. And I'm in no mood for games" Deku sternly stated.

"Come on, don't tell me you are still mad for what happened at the end of the course's dance. I know, I know, I took her first kiss while wearing your skin... but we were kids and I just wanted to prank her! And how was I supposed to know you really liked her back?"

"No need to bring that up...". Neither of them two found that funny at all. For Ochako it wasn't nice to discover that her crush kissing her was actually a disguised villain mocking her feelings. "What brought you to Monterrey? What was inside the briefcase?" he had to take control over the conversation.

"Anyway,..." Toga looked more interested in other subject. "... about time you took ME on a date..." she seductively muttered, testing Deku's patience.

"This is no date, Toga" Deku replied.

"Really? Does Ochako know you are here, talking with me?" she asked in a naughty tone of voice. Deku opened his mouth to reply again, but this time he hesitated. "My, my, Izuku... I heard last week she was at Best Jeanist's Agency with her friends looking for a dress and they had to use their Quirks to elude the press. Shouldn't you be with your future wife? Shouldn't a man like you be just... happily getting ready for his wedding?" she teased. "That is... if you actually want to get married, Mr Future Hero Number One..."

"What was that?!" Deku lost his target for a moment.

"The League of Villains has followed your progress as a hero... Deku. Soon enough you could become the new Symbol of Peace, like you always dreamed. But compromises always complicate everything, don't they?" her eyes and smile looked as sharp as the knives she loved so much.

"Shut up... you don't know what you are talking about..." Deku felt like he was the one chained to the table.

"And after marriage, comes parenthood. And after parenthood... there is no return. You used to be All Might's biggest fan, weren't you? Did he ever tell you why he was single?" Toga seemed to be having a lot of fun. "Don't get me wrong, I am a sensitive girl and Ochako and you are definitely among the cutest. But I wonder if you are made for marriage... as a hero, at least".

"Look... I don't know where you are going, but..." Deku was finding difficult to keep it cool.

"I'm saying... that very soon you will have a compromise with the entire world, not only with Ochako. However, as a villain, you could be equally cool and you would only compromise with people who can really appreciate what you are capable of. Aaaand... with the adequate girl..." she smirked and blinked an eye while she played with her hair. "... you could have the life you wanted".

That was it. Deku slammed his hands on the table as he got up like a lighting. But he wouldn't lose it. He wouldn't give that satisfaction to a villain.

"I tried to do this the good way. Don't blame me for what happens next" he stoically concluded. Then he looked at the mirror and made a signal to a person at the other side. "She's all yours".

"Hehe, you know... Katsuki was far better at playing the bad cop..." Toga didn't give in.

"I can think of a more suitable person for this..." he internally said. "I'll have you know... that fans have tried to pair me with other girls over the years. I never took that seriously, you know how much fans and media enjoy these things. But if I had ever cared, I would only have had one thing to say: each woman can be different and exceptional in her own way. However, there is always one essential thing I miss in most of them... and that includes you, Himiko Toga" Deku said as he calmly walked towards the door.

"Tell me: what is it?" she curiously asked, still smiling. Deku turned for a moment. Now it was his turn to smile.

"Absolutely none of them is Ochako Uraraka" were his last words, before leaving the room. As soon as Deku had left, the door opened again and a person in a black sweater, with a hood that covered the upper part of his face, entered to meet her.

"Good morning" the hooded one greeted. Apparently he wanted to play the good cop. "I'm here to have a nice conversation with you. I hope you don't mind if I ask you some questions".

"Don't bother" Toga pouted, with little interest. "You don't look like my type of guy".

"I see. Maybe if I ask politely..." he smilingly removed his hood and revealed another well known Pro Hero.

"Oh, shit..." it was too late to cover her mouth. From that moment her mind was submitted to his Brainwashing Quirk.

"... would you tell me everything about the briefcase and what you were doing in Mexico?" asked Shinsou, with his classical cold gaze...

End of chapter 5.

I know this chapter was shorter, but believe me, I'm doing my best to develop the story in a good structure and full of surprises.

In the meantime, hope you enjoyed this interrogation scene and the appearance of one of the most underrated heroes in the cannon.

I wonder what was inside that briefcase...

Also, poor Deku. He's getting married in a week and he has to deal with stress, work, preparations and this mystery...

Well! Honest Fiction will see you again soon. I promise the following chapter will be longer!

Thank you all, readers! This is for you!!🍻🍻
