Bachelor-party
July 8th, 17:30.
Midoriyas' house.
Deku's bedroom looked exactly like it did when he was just a student, only smaller in his eyes. Her mother hadn't touched any of his All Might's posters or merchandising. It warmed his soul that, no matter how big of a hero or great of a husband he would become, there was a person to whom he would always be an innocent and over enthusiastic All Might's fan child.
Those last days at her mother's house had been marvelous. His Mom had cooked his favorite meals and spent time with him like he was a little boy again, but he wouldn't complain since that woman deserved all the care in the world. It also helped that she kept an eye on him so he didn't think for a second about hero duties. He also took his time to play with Eri and tell her about his past adventures. The now teen Eri cherished him like she did when she was a recently rescued little girl, something between an adoptive brother and a father figure, and wished someday she could save people like Deku saved her. Needless to say the good relationship she kept with Inko Midoriya.
The time had come to get properly dressed and wait for Iida and Todoroki, who would take him to whatever place his friends had chosen to celebrate the stag-party. At the moment, he was talking to his mother at the kitchen, who told him to have fun, be careful and remember to be punctual so he could get ready for the so anticipated event. Meanwhile, Eri and Kōta were watching Sky High (n.a: yeah, THAT Sky High) one of the girl's favorite (and unfairly forgotten) Disney movies, on TV:
"YOU!! WHICH IS YOUR POWER?!
"I translate anime and manga asking nothing in return, coach!!
"HERO!!"
Eri absolutely loved superhero movies and for the last days Deku and her had watched a lot together, but Kōta was also a great company for that. And there was something about the premise of this one that would keep her rewatching it...
"Don't look too handsome, Deku!" Eri warned. "Now the rest of the girls can't put a hand on you!"
"Fear not, Eri. I won't let them!" he smiled. "Well, it is about time I leave" Deku announced the two friends, once he checked a text. "Iida and Todoroki are outside with the car."
"Not fair! Why can't I go to the party?" Kōta complained.
"You are not old enough yet, Kota" Deku answered. "Besides, I'm counting on you. Take good care of Eri, ok?"
"You know, I'm actually older than him..." Eri adorably pouted.
"But don't worry, Kota! I can always go to your own stag-party!" he promised.
"Ha! What makes you think I'm getting married someday?" Kota snorted.
"She does" Deku answered, pointing to Eri. Kota's eyes wide opened, his face turned red and looked at Eri with narrowed eyes and inflated cheeks, while she sweetly giggled. "Bye, Mom! See you tomorrow, guys! Have fun!" he said before leaving.
The owners of their hotel in Tokyo were delighted to host no less than fourteen Pro Heroes for one night, and the fact some of them had saved the hotel from being destroyed by villains on multiple occasions helped them to get suites at a good price. Kaminari, Mineta, Shoji, Mashirao, Koda, Tokoyami, Aoyama, Sato and Sero were already there to welcome the groom. Unfortunately, the Big Three wouldn't be back from work in the U.S until the following day, but they would be right on time for the celebration. Kirishima and Bakugou joined them for dinner at the hotel. Deku was sure that the former would be mad after remembering he knocked him out in the bar two weeks ago, but when Kirishima told him about the reason why he was so surprisingly calmed, the green haired hoped that poor doctor got better soon.
June 8th, 20:45.
The disco, next to their hotel in Tokyo.
When they entered they found it full of young people dancing, with the music all loud and Deku was in shock due to the fact he didn't know any of the present people, but his friends didn't seem to be expecting this either.
"Um... Iida?" Deku asked him. "Did we enter the wrong place? Who are these people?"
"I don't know!" Iida cried, as astonished as the rest of the boys. Well, most of them. "The plan was to rent this for a night, but none else was supposed to..." when he noticed the many groups of girls that were greeting them and even blinking eyes from the bar and the dance floor, he had more than a clue about who was responsible.
"MINETA!!" Iida glared, expecting an explanation. "What the hell is all this? This was supposed to be a private party!"
"This is supposed to be a stag-party! All I did was to sell some entrances so we had enough people to consider it as such!" Mineta argued.
"What?! Let me get this straight: you made business of MY stag-party?" Deku couldn't find the words to tell how wrong that was. So that was why he offered to help organize it...
"That's not cool, little man" Todoroki recriminated him. "You don't bring any person to this kind of celebration".
"Oh, give me a break! What kind of stag-party would it be the fourteen of us locked in a disco? This is your last night as a single man, Midoriya, and you must enjoy it! We have all we need: drinks, food, music... and most importantly, women looking for single guys to have fun with" Mineta grinned like a predator. "I wouldn't let ANY person to come!"
"Mineta... at least tell us they are not..." an alarmed Ojiro pleaded, at the sight of some of them's outfits.
"They are not strippers! They are just hot! And we are the famous Pro Heroes here! Nothing else to say!" Mineta triumphantly declared, ready to check the result of his strategy. The rest, especially Deku, tried to assimilate their new situation. What was an engaged nerd like him supposed to do in that kind of environment?
"Seriously... I don't know how we didn't see this coming..." Todoroki said in a resigned tone of voice.
"I take full responsibility, Midoriya!" a deeply ashamed Iida apologized. "I should have kept a better eye on Mineta! You trusted me as your best man and I failed!!". An inconvenience like this would be fatal to Iida's organized persona.
"Oh! Don't say that!" replied Deku, trying to calm down his friend. "The place is kind of cool and... well, there are only a few more people to create a little ambient! How bad can it be? I mean, without our costumes and masks they don't have to know we are..."
"Hello, Deku!" a female flirtatious voice was heard right from behind, closer than necessary to him. Suddenly the three of them were surrounded by an army of a dozen bimbos who, much to his dismay, have recognized them and were already taking liberties with the touch and distances between them. Deku would have been less frightened in that room interrogating Toga.
"We were told about Deku's stag-party! How could we resist to buy an entrance?" a blonde college student in yellow jacket and black short skirt said in excitement. Actually, most of them looked like college girls. Like thirsty college girls...
"O...oh...I...I... s-see..." Deku would have felt safer surrounded by Nomus.
"I absolutely love it when you smile to the camera after beating a villain!
"Such a shame you're getting married..."
"But if this is your last night free, you should definitely have fun..."
"Don't be shy and come with us!"
"You know, you look pretty handsome, even without the costume..."
"I should have listened to Eri..." his face was turning a shade of pale and he was sweating profusely. Mineta would have said those girls were goddesses, but the way their hands were setting on him made him feel like he was attacked by hungry zombies. Some were even licking their lips and others looked like they were already drunk. God damn Mineta... he was so lucky Uraraka wasn't watching that scene...
"OH MY GOD!! I knew I would find Shoto Todoroki here!! You have been my hero celebrity crush since High School!!" cried an overloud and over-made up red haired who hold the Half-Cold, Half-Hot User by the side.
"This is all kinds of awkward..." mumbled Todoroki. Deku was having the worst part, but they have also noticed them two while their friends started to mix with the rest of the people there.
"Why don't I take you for a drink, Ingenium? You look so stressed..." the one whose body was more visible than her clothes smirked.
"LADIES, PLEASE!" Iida composed himself the best the could. "WE ARE SO FLATTERED, BUT THIS IS NO WAY OF...!"
KA-BOOOOM!!! The group of girls were startled, and Kirishima and a frowning Bakugou with smoky hands joined the stage. When they saw their faces some of them squealed again:
"HOLY COW! YOU TWO ARE RED RIOT AND...!"
"No wasting my name" Bakugou growled, making the girls unnerved. "Right now think of me as the security guard of this party. That means..."
"Sorry, ladies, but I'm afraid touching up the groom is not included in the entrance" Kirishima smilingly got ahead of Bakugou, while rescuing the three boys from the disappointed girls' claws. "You see, he needs to be fresh for tomorrow".
"Indeed!" Mineta reappeared and took advantage of the situation. "As the host of this party, it is my duty to make you all feel comfortable at..."
The five heroes went to find themselves a table as far from the crowd as possible. They found two at the background, where Kaminari, Ojiro and Tokoyami were already sitting and welcomed them. The rest were at the bar or dancing not far from there. Things hadn't gone as planned, but it was great to reunite with his friends from Class 1A.
"Let's stay positive: we have open bar!" Kaminari cheerfully said, lifting his drink.
"It's strange to see you not hanging around with Mineta" commented Todoroki.
"Oh, I'm done with playing the pervert. I go totally serious with Kyoka" the Electricity User stated.
"Glad to hear that" Kirishima approved. "Speaking of that, Ojiro, are you finally..."
"Yes! I'm taking Toru to the wedding!" the tailed hero happily announced. Everyone cheered and took a ship of their drinks... with the exception of Bakugou, who just kept his frown and reluctantly lifted his. Deku and Kirishima looked at each other and silently agreed that it wasn't the best time or place to talk about girls. Obviously, when he wasn't yelling or blasting things he would only be able to think about one thing...
"Don't worry, Kacchan" Deku didn't want him to be down at his party. "One more round and we'll continue the party in the hotel" he proposed, picking the bottle and filling the glasses again.
"Agreed! The ambient is good and all that," Kirishima tried to be generous. "but up there we have the suites, the pool, and even a basketball court where we will be able to use our Quirks to have fun!"
"What about Mineta?" asked Sero, who had already get bored of dancing.
"He doesn't look like he's going to miss us..." Tokoyami said pointing him with his head. Mineta was sat by the bar and was blissful while four fancy looking chicks were listening to whatever he was telling them.
"AAAAND NOW!" the group turned to the mixing table, where the DJ held a microphone, "THE FOLLOWING SONG IS DEDICATED TO ONE OF OUR FAVORITE HEROES AND THE PROTAGONIST OF THIS PARTY!!" the unknown members of the party went crazy and squealed.
"Em... Midoriya..." Iida started.
"Don't tell me. This wasn't on the script either..." guessed Deku. When the song Now I'm A Believer, by Smash Mouth, began to be played, and images of Ochako and him made by fans began to appear on the screen, he wished he could become invisible. He could have spent his time doing better things only with his friends or doing some more research...hell, even fighting Kacchan seemed like a better option...
Wait, where did Kacchan go?

July 8th, 23:30.
The hotel's pool.
"Don't worry about Bakugou, Midoriya" said Kirishima. He had texted the red haired saying that the party sucked and he would return to the suite later. "It is not your fault, he's just facing a break up".
Deku felt terribly bad for him. He should have reached Bakugou and supported him. If only those idiots of the disco hadn't decided to lift the groom and passed him over their heads like he was a rock star...
"It would be no use reasoning with him now. You know how he is. But tomorrow he will be there for you, with his yelling and menaces" Todoroki agreed.
"Now let's just have some real fun while we still can!" cried Kaminari holding a radiocasete and a can of beer out of the pool. He was totally boiled, but fortunately Shoji used his copy-arms to keep him out of the water, just when Sero used his Quirk to swing in Tarzan fashion and let himself fall into it, splashing Koda, Aoyama, Tokoyami and Sato. Deku sighed and decided to try his best, now they weren't in that disco. After all, it was his friends who had prepared that plan for him and he was mostly grateful.
"Well... what about one more toast?" Iida asked, giving time to everyone to lift his cup, can or glass. "To you, Izuku Midoriya, and your brilliant future as a married hero".
"We are telling you: we and this whole generation wouldn't be the same without you" added Ojiro.
"Thanks for being our friend and rival" Todoroki smiled.
"And for being the ultimate problem child!" Kaminari made a lame impression of Professor Aizawa that made everyone laugh or cringe.
"CHEERS!"
Maybe it was he had drunk more than a cup, but Deku couldn't help but think he had the best friends and he was about to marry the best girl that walked the Earth. Parties like that may not be his cup of tea, but moments like those would always be a treasure.
Meanwhile, in a bar not far from there...
Bakugou decided he would have one more and he would go back to the hotel. He was in no mood for parties at the moment and he would need some rest before those two's wedding. The sessions may had helped him to open himself, but right then he just felt so empty he didn't even want to blow anything to pieces, which normally made him feel so good.
The door of the place opened and someone came to the bar, but he wouldn't care until he heard this person's voice ordering a Martini. That made him ask himself if he had drunk enough, but he turned anyway and checked it was true.
"You... what are you doing here?"
End of chapter 9.
Aww the irony... two MHA characters watching Sky High... I just needed to make a reference. Probably you also watched it as kids and have seen the memes where it is compared to MHA. And I know that wasn't the original dialogue of the movie, I just wanted to translate a meme in Spanish I found particularly funny.
And I absolutely love those fanfics where Eri is Deku's adoptive child, even if she's just ten years younger (if I wanted realism I would be reading the papers 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️). I just wanted to give it a little different perspective, so I made her live with Inko now her son lives with Uraraka. This way she's kind of family, right? And yes, somehow I also ship her with Kota🙄. Why would I be so sensitive...
This Mineta... well I've got to admit that was some strategy...
Who could possibly have Bakugou met?
This has been our hero's stag party. I know very little about it, but if they are Pro Heroes, why not having a four suites and a disco for themselves?
