Part 4: Dance Partners?!

Huey's POV

After school, Uncle Donald was driving us home. All the while, I was just thinking about what the Duckberg Dance Festival was going to be like. Uncle Scrooge was going to help fund it. I think Daisy might also be going there with Uncle Donald. I love that those two are so happy together! I wondered if later on, Ellie and I would be like that in the future. Then Louie bluntly said, "Y'know, if Ellie decides she wants to dance with you, she'll probably be pretty embarrassed."

That's when I realized something: I can't dance! Whenever I try, I always end up looking like an anxious spaz who's had way too much coffee! I couldn't dance with her! What would she do? What would she say?! At first, I thought for a bit, Maybe things'll work. Maybe she won't want to dance.

However, just in case she did, I had to be prepared. I got out my Junior Woodchuck Guidebook and start flipping through the pages until I got to the dancing section of the book.

Webby's POV

I was really excited to go to the Duckberg Dance Festival, but at the same time, I was thinking, What if I end up ruining the whole thing for everyone? What if Donald, Daisy, the triplets, Launchpad, and Mr. McDuck get banned for life as a result?! What if after that, they hate me forever, and Mr. McDuck fires Granny?!? Oh, maybe I should just not go at all!

Then Louie put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Aw, don't worry about it, Webs."

Dewey also chimed in, "Yeah, you're stressing way too much about this."

I quickly jumped and turned to him, "You two can read my mind?!"

"No, you were saying all that stuff out loud," Dewey answered (Awkward!), "anyway, the festival is supposed to be about having fun, letting loose, and enjoying yourself."

"Yeah, and besides," Louie added, "Mrs. Beakley is awesome at her job. She won't be fired. Just like we won't end up hating you, and as long as you just relax and enjoy yourself, the festival won't be ruined."

(sighs) It's times like that when I feel especially lucky to have them as friends. Also, Dewey tousled my hair a little bit. I love it when he does that.

Louie's POV

I already had a pretty vivid imagery of the festival: me hanging out with Webby and maybe getting a little flirty with some cute girls, while Dewey was cutting a rug with Daniella, and Huey and Ellie were just being the adorable little nerds they are.

Dewey's POV

Poor Webby! I'd never seen her this self-conscious before. I really wished that I could do something to help!

At the same time, I was looking at Huey and wondering what he was reading about.
