Frozen Destiny
The beautiful melody echoed in the halls of the old abandoned church in Kuoh. Currently, countless bodies sprawled inside the church decorated its splendor with splatters of blood and the groans of pain echoed in symphony.
"I didn't know anyone else used this church,"
The melody stopped as the figure turned around. It was a man with silver hair wearing the clothes of a businessman.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
"Sheesh, ever kiss your mother with that mouth?" The person asked, entering the chapel without a care as the bodies sprawled on the floor rose from the ground.
'Necromancy,' The young man thought as he looked at the people in front of him. 'So Necromancers arrived in Kuoh, huh?"
"Today ain't your lucky day, punk."
"I thought Necromancers were supposed to use graveyards as their lairs?" The young man asked, stepping out of the shadows and allowing the light of the moon to reveal the face of one Issei Hyoudou. Dressed in a simple long-sleeved black shirt and pants. A pair of gloves covered his hands as combat boots clad his feet. The final piece of his attire, a gray-ish trench coat covered his form as the fur-linings around the collar warmed his neck.
"I am Deathsbane Morgan," The Necromancer announced as magic flowed around his body. The undead puppets rising from the ground slowly approached the young Dragonlord. "And you will be one of my puppets and I will conquer,"
"Seriously?"
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, are all Necromancers that are evil always supposed to have a Monologue?" Issei asked with a tired sigh. He always fought people with some inner monologue or speech ready and even after ten years it never changed.
"I am a graduate of Macedonia's Necromancer University and i will not take this disrespect,"
"Are you sure?" Issei asked, casually taking a seat on one of the long chairs in the chapel and resting his feat on top of the backrest of the seat in front of him.
"Of course I am! I have a diploma and certification!" Deathsbane Morgan cried out as Issei sighed. Necromancers, always the dramatic ones. Must be because of spending most of the time alone in dungeons or caves.
"Cool..." Issei said with a sigh. With the reveal of Devils living in the academy, it will make it hard for him to use any of his more powerful spells. But, he still had a lot of tricks in his sleeve. "Come on, let's get this over with. My friend is in charge of making Dinner and I don't want to eat cold food,"
"You... YOU INSIGNIFICANT SCUM! DO YOU THINK THAT I—,"
A shadow dashed through the hordes of undead, splattering blood and separating bodies as the young man moved. A simple steel sword on hand and a dance of death from the shadows ensued.
Deathsbane Morgan's eyes widened as the lone human danced from shadow to shadow of each and every one of his undead minions. It only been less than ten seconds and a portion of his undead servants has already been rendered immobile.
'IMPOSSIBLE!'
Bang
A condensed mass of magic shot out of the gun, a simple revolver. A simple ray of magic vaporized everything in its way before it pointed at the Necromancer. A magical ward of sorts appeared around his body.
"FOOL! DO YOU THINK THAT I WO—,
The sword in his hand soared through the air and pierced halfway through the ward before the revolver aimed.
Bang
A beam of magic pushed the sword deeper, breaking through the ward and piercing the Necromancer's chest.
"... you talk too much," The young Dragonlord whispered as he reappeared next to his sword before pressing the revolver in his temple.
Bang.
Brain matter, blood, and skull fragments splattered into the air before his magical energy flowed into the newly deceased body.
"Clean this place up," Issei ordered as the bodies once taken care of rose once more. Instead of attacking the young Dragonlord, the undead now gathered rags to clean the desolate church. "Well, that's a Necromancer this week," Issei whispered as he remembered how many supernatural events he had encountered this month alone.
"But still... setting up shop in a holy ground? Wait... a second... Exorcists?" Noticing one of the familiar sigils he had seen before, the young Dragonlord knelt beside one of the thoroughly deceased bodies and looked at the amulet one of them wore. The symbol had a scratch on it... a rogue. "Huh, was not expectin—"
chi-chi-chi-chi oppai boin boin
"Issei here," Issei said with a smile as he pressed a phone to her ear. This phone of his was special and only a few people knew his number. As of now, only his fellow Dragonlord has access to this number.
"Hey, Issei-kun. How's your patrol?" The voice of his fellow dragonlord came out of the phone followed by growls from both his and her dragons.
"Good. Took care of a Necromancer. Pretty skilled but not used to combat," Issei replied as he looked at the well-preserved corpses of the Undead he had just cut through... the non-injured part at least.
"Uh-huh? Well, do you mind picking up some groceries from the supermarket?"
"Sure, anything else?"
"Oh! Can... can you get some desserts?"
"Sure, I can pick out some,"
"Take care! I'm already done cooking,"
"Thanks, Mei! I owe you so much!"
"Anytime, Issei-kun."
The young Dragonlord of Doom looked at the moon just as the undead started moving faster and harder. In a matter of minutes, the numerous undead humans finished cleaning the entire church, removing as much blood as possible before a surge of magic echoed in the air. The young Dragonlord thought. 'This feeling... a portal spell using a magic circle... impressive. Devil magic.'
"Well, time to end this I guess." The young Dragonlord smiled as he focused on the image of his childhood and focused magic on the edge of his sword. A single slash and a rift opened, small enough for him to fit as countless corrupted orbs followed him, blending with the bats made of darkness that appeared every time he moved.
"Necromancer hunting?" The voice of the Dragonlord of storms echoed in the empty halls of the Hyoudou household, dressed in casual clothes with an apron on.
"Well, encountered one. Besides, it's not undead-hunting day weekends yet," Issei said with a shrug as he carefully removed his coat and hung it on one of the coat hangers by the door.
"I swear, you can be as bad as Artix if you want to be," Sighed the Dragonlord of storms as memories of how A pair of brown-haired paladins committed a mass undead genocide during a Mogloween event... to be fair it involved a zombie virus.
"Come on, I'm not THAT bad," He said with a smile.
"True, unless it comes to boobs," Teased the Empress of Storms as she remembered the highly philosophical lectures both the Dragonlord of Doom and another friend of theirs gave to each other on a semi-regular basis. The great sages of the female form as they were called.
"Where's mom and dad?"
"They went out..."
"Oh..."
"Yeah, they might have felt a bit bad since Draco and Kurikara have more powerful senses,"
"Well... to be fair, my castle was big so..."
"Behave,"
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Speaking of behaving, Dad wants to meet you,"
"That's nice," Issei said with a shrug as he poured himself a cup of tea. "Wait... what?"
"Dad wants to meet you. He knows I got Isekai'ed to Lore with a lot of people," Mei looked at her fellow Dragonlord. "He wants to know you... personally,"
"Okay, when can we meet?" Issei asked, summoning his journal to check his schedule. 'Hmm... I have some training to do after school.'
"This Sunday, Dad is visiting Kuoh for a business deal."
"Want him to stay here instead of a hotel?" Stacks of tomes landed on the coffee table as the Dragonlord of Doom caught a grimoire containing the sigil of a dragon that looked like the head of his dragon.
"Well, we should tell Auntie and Uncle,"
"I'll tell them. But you know... they might think we're getting married,"
"Why? Want to get married?"
"And risk a certain Dragonlord killing my ass?" The Doomed Dragonlord asked, leaning his back on the couch's backrest as the Grimoire in his hand floated in the air, opening to reveal its contents to him. "No thank you,"
"You're a more powerful Dragonlord than the rest of us,"
"True, but a battle is more than just overpowering each other,"
"You should have not hung out with Notha too much,"
"She's cool and she taught me some tricks!"
"You started having a phase of 'balancing' yourself," Mei pointed out, pointing a ladle at him.
"Well, sorry about that,"
"The dessert?"
"Huh? What do you... oh..."
"You forgot?"
"Of course not! I just wanted to see you first!"
"You suck at lying, Issei,"
"Fine, I'll go and buy some,"
Sighing to herself, the Dragonlord of Storms turned the stove off and shut the gas connection shut.
"Or you can come with me,"
"I hope you know I will empty your wallet tonight,"
"I know. Looking forward to it," The young dragonlord of Doom said with a sigh, knowing how much better it would be to satisfy her sweet tooth than spend time trying to get her to forgive him.
A lot of times, those involved getting ignored by Mei and even kicked out of his dinner table. At least she did not take out her anger on Draco and she often did leave him some food with stasis spells keeping its heat and freshness.
Most of the time it was his fault like how he accidentally landed in her room while she was in the middle of changing while practicing teleportation, or accidentally destroying her new soulwoven clothes he wove for her with Tomix's help, stripping her naked in his castle luckily. Or if she saw Valencia and him doing several bar runs starting from Serenity's inn and ending in Surewould forest with him somehow getting stuck on a Gorillaphant's cave after a drunk night out when he promised to be back in time for dinner.
Though, thankfully, some desserts cheered her up. Also, praising someone else's food while she prepared her own would make her a bit pouty to pissed off depending on how many times it happened. The angrier and poutier she is, the more sweets need to be sacrificed.
With a single snap of his fingers and a minor application of trans-dimensional magic, a new set of clothes covered his body. A button-up white shirt replaced the black one. The dragon amulet once given to him by his former mentor proudly clung around his neck, the crimson jewel shining brightly, mirroring the true nature of his beloved dragon.
Smiling at the Dragonlord of storms, for a split second, his form glitched. Dark eyes bled red with black sclerae while streaks of white danced along his hair. The young woman saw this and frowned. Issei Hyoudou, the Fabled hero of Destiny and the Dragonlord of Doom. The greatest Dragonlord of their generation and in history, well-known for combining the power of Dragonlords and mastery of the Dragonslaying arts after he killed the Great Dragon of Fire. Ice... his affinity for magic was held back by one thing...
Flames roared as a giant of flames threatened to bathe Lore in infernal flames. The Dragonlords of Falconreach, the Mad Pyromancer, Xan, and the future Archmagus of the Rose, Jaania. Three unlikely allies fought the Infernal creature that contained half of their friend. The rest of their group could only focus on making sure to keep the Infernal titan in place as the titan form of Draco flew and weaved each strike while pulsating with Primal water as the Dragonlord formed dimensional rifts to return attacks at the Infernal.
"Mei?"
"I'm fine, Ise," Mei said with a smile aimed at her fellow Dragonlord. "Kurikara, Draco. Please behave while we're gone,"
Growls escaped the dragons of Doom and Energy as the Dragonlords opened the door. Their walk was silent yet never felt awkward. For over a decade, the two of them had fought side-by-side. While a pervert, Issei himself is a person who will go to the underworld and back for those he cares about.

"We're finally in Japan," A young woman said with a smile, dressed like a nun as her blue eyes sparkled. "The land of the beautiful Mei!"
"Sister Kiana, please keep your voice down," A blonde-haired girl said with a blush, fidgeting slightly as she looked at all the people around them.
"Relax, Asia," The young woman said with a smile, patting her head with a gloved hand. "We'll be fine, I already made sure we have our ride to Kuoh ready. We have a lot to see there and we can squeeze some time while we fix the church,"
"It's been a while since I was in Kuoh, I can show you around," A twin-tailed girl with orange hair said with a smile as robes covered her body.
"You two... I told you to wear the uniform over those and not just robes,"
"Ahh... but sister Kiana! This is merely a trial from God! Amen,"
"Indeed, we have no need for the public to turn their eyes away from us," Another hooded young woman said.
"Man, I know I'm not that smart but you two are just dumb..." Kiana whispered with a sigh, while she could appreciate their skintight uniforms that would make her friend agree with her, they needed to blend in.
"T-that's not n-nice, Sister Kiana!"
"See, Asia understands us!"
"Sister Asia, please don't encourage them too much. You have to say no,"
"But that will be being mean to them,"
"God..." The white-haired sister of the church said with a sigh. "Look, we are headed in Devil territory so please try not to fight them. We are here for a special mission,"
"If you say so,"
"Understood."
"Where's Bella, Sister Kiana?"
"I'm here!" A little girl around seven said with a smile. She has beautiful white eyes while soft white-ish gold locks cascaded down her head.
"Hello, Bella," The ginger said with a smile at the child.
"Hi, sister Irina, sister Asia, and sister Xenovia," The child, Bella, said with a smile as she turned to the white-haired sister. "I can feel them! Kuri-cookie and Dra-dra are here!" The child said with a smile.
"I see, we'll run into them soon, don't you worry,"
"Yeah!" The child leaned into the palm of the white-haired sister of the church. Only the young woman understood who the child met. The leader of their group and the second-in-command. She missed them.
Her second family and trusted friends.
A little brat of a sister too smart for her own good but used to be too short to reach things.
A sweet little sister who reminded her of sweet sister Asia.
A perverted Dragonlord often somehow gets involved in one world-destroying event after the other who also happens to be her best friend.
and Her beloved Dragonlord.
"I can't wait to meet Issei again!" Irina said with a smile, humming as she swayed her head from side to side, remembering the childhood friend she left behind.
"Wait, you know Issei?" Kiana asked, looking at the wielder of Excalibur Mimic, one of the fragments of the Original Excalibur, the strongest holy sword. The sister of the Holy Church was curious. To think one of her teammates knew her best friend and pseudo-mentor in the Dragonlord arts.
"How do YOU know Issei, Sister Kiana?" Irina asked, looking directly at the young woman. "As far as I know, Issei never left Japan. Dad still talks to Uncle Gorou,"
"Oh! Big Brother Issei is pretty cool! He taught big sis Kiana and Big Sis Mei a lot!" Bella said with a smile, eyes sparkling as she remembered the Dragonlord of Doom and how he was the first person other than her Dragonlord to see after she hatched.
"Bella..." Kiana whispered with a tired sigh. Her dragon meant well, but she needed to learn to keep a secret since she was the only one of their group's dragons to transform into a human form.
"Sorry, sis!" Bella said with a smile. "But I know you miss Big Brother Issei too!"
"I do... but don't tell him alright? I have a reputation to protect," Kiana replied while taking her luggage from the Conveyor belt. "You know how annoying he can be if he wanted,"
"Well... if you want to meet Issei, then I still know where they used to live," Irina said with a smile.
"Thank you, Irina. But that can wait, we need to secure the church first before we can do anything. There are still reports of Fallen angel movement inside Kuoh. Affiliated with Kokabiel," Kiana said.
"There's no doubt they already have an idea that we are headed there," Kiana said as she waved a taxi passing by as they exited the Airport. "So be careful and don't do anything too suspicious. The peaceful days we have will be fading away after today," Kiana whispered as her instincts honed through years of serving the Church and adventuring in Lore, told her one thing. Trouble is brewing ahead.
Far away,
The Dragonlord of Doom sneezed lightly, dropping the cone of ice cream onto the floor.
"My ice cream..." The Doomed Dragonlord whispered as he saw the delicious sweet treat crushed on the ground. It was no longer edible...
"Here," A spoonful of ice cream from the Dragonlord of Storms caught his attention. With a small tub of ice cream in her hand, the beautiful young woman smiled in his direction. "We can share,"
"Thanks, Mei... you really are kind..." Issei said with tears forming around his eyes as he opened his mouth just.
Outside, the Occult Research club looked at the Duo of Dragonlords with Koneko's eyes widening at the familiar scent. The scent of magic, destruction, and death that was present in the church directly escaped from the perverted second-year student.
"President, it's him. Pervert's the source of the scent,"
Rias Gremory looked at the young Dragonlord of Doom, plans forming in her mind. A magician capable of taking care of a priest and a group of exorcists by himself? He wanted a harem, right? Maybe that will work. After all, he is well-known as the Oppai-baka by female students but the girl might be a problem.
Entering the store, she approached the perverted teen and smiled. "You must be Issei Hyoudou, correct?"
"Rias Gremory," Issei greeted with a smile as she discreetly emphasized her bust size. "Say, remember when the idiot and I went fishing and somehow ended up underwater?"
"Yeah, Kiana told me about that when you sent her to get to us,"
Rias froze as the pervert ignored her to continue his conversation with the new transfer student. By her smile, it seems like the two knew each other very well and she trusted him a lot. Also, not once did his eyes glance at her ample chest.
"Oh, sorry, did you need anything, Senior?"
"Well, I would rather talk to you about it, alone," Rias said with a smile, using a bit of magic to put an illusion on..."
"There's no need for that, Rias Gremory," Issei said, his tone changing as his eyes slowly turned red while looking at her. "I don't appreciate anyone trying to mind control my friends," Magical power flowed from the perverted teen, wrapping himself in his preferred form of magic third only to his Dragon and Soul weaving magics. "What do you need, Senior Rias Gremory, heiress to House Gremory one of the 72 pillars of Devil kind?" The young Dragonlord said, voice filled with confidence and power despite the soft tone. An aura of fear slowly bloomed around him as his necromantic expertise slowly leaked, hiding the inner light within.
