Playful Kisses

The Weasley's home was overflowing with smiling faces and humor filled laughter. Ginny, Ron, Fred, George, Bill, Hermione, Molly and Fred's girlfriend of a year, Nox all spent the day staying warm inside The Burrow with mugs of hot chocolate and blankets thrown around their bodies.

Lightning bolts flashed wickedly outside, being seen through the window which Molly was quick to cover the horrible weather with the multiply stitched and colored drapes. Arthur was working horrendous hours at the Ministry, in order to keep the place from going bonkers. The "children" had wasted their day away laying in the cool grass and playing Qudditch with the family. Nox, Hermione and the youngest Weasley chatted amongst themselves about the upcoming school year. Fred, George and Bill worked hard to improve their little brother Ron's game but gave up once the dark clouds rolled in overhead. Molly came out, shouting at them all to come in saying a storm was scheduled to take place at about 5. Exactly on the dot did it start, not even a second late! Molly being the kind big hearted mother she was, had stacks of blankets and cups of steamy cocoa waiting at the door for them when they walked in.

Nox diligently situated her half empty coffee up on the hand knitted coaster, keeping her hand still tangled neatly with Fred's. The couple shared a cozy loveseat made for one, Nox practically on Fred's lap leaving the reaming end of her body, a small slit of cushion. His arms fasten securely around her waist, reassuring her balance. A thick woolen layer of material tossed upon them as they snuggled close. Goosebumps rose on her (S/c) skin making her reach up and tug tightly to the fluffy Ravenclaw hat, dragging it down snug across her head.

Hermione and Ron argued ridiculous about God knows what. Ginny blabbered to her mother and Bill, though Nox wasn't paying enough attention to catch much word on the subject. Fred joked with his twin childishly, shoving George playfully snickering at the remark his brother previously made. Nox tilted her head, leaning up against Fred happily. Fred replied unraveling his hand from her's so he could move her between by legs. Spreading his legs Fred gave her space to adjust comfortably, he set his feet level with the foot stool in front of the chair allowing a suitable position for his mile long legs. Nox grinned foolishly cuddling up to his front half listening to the steady beat of his heart, slowly become drowsier than the second before as time passed. The red headed reckless elder twin took notice of his sleepy girlfriend softly running his hand through her glossy, smooth (h/c) locks. A sudden voice directed towards the two lovebirds woke Nox you with a startle.

"Nox, why're you dating Fred? I mean c'mon he's a total slob and never cleans up after himself! Also, he's never serious!" Ginny giggled and Fred merely rolled his eyes mimicking his sister talking. Hermione looked shocked at Ginny, then caught the meaningless tone in her words and laughed along. Molly seemed to be the only out that didn't understand the kidding remark.

"Ginny! Why would you ever say that!?" Mrs. Weasley scolded her daughter. Ginny's facial expressions changed within the snap of a finger, now fearfully shaking her head at a rapid pace trying to explain to her vicious glaring mother.

"No mom, I was joking! Honestly, I meant no harm at all!" Ginny pleaded worriedly, her family stood by watching with amusement. Nox felt sorry for her and jumped in.

"I don't know Gin; I suppose he just hexed me or something." Nox giggled maneuvering to sit on the arm rest. Fred narrowed his eyes waving his fingers in a disapproving fashion. Mrs. Weasley caught onto the small joke and apologized sincerely to Ginny for getting after her. Bill subtly nudged Ron eyeing the couple, smirking lightly.

Fred latched gazes with his brothers, sending them a confused look. Nothing was sent back, the same smirks still remained and Fred started to slowly understand.

"Ginny you're just jealous I have somebody to snog while you only have a pillow." Ginny's face beamed red and Nox smacked his arm annoyed. Mrs. Weasley shrugged standing to her feet collecting the empty mug and returning to the kitchen saying how, "she was too young anyways". It was true. Ginny was in her third year, 13 years old and in Molly's opinion not ready to date.

Fred didn't waste a single minuet. The second Molly was out of sight and everyone went back to their previous conversation, Fred snatched Nox's back side yanking her lovingly onto his lap attaching his plump lips against her smooth ones. Catching Nox in full surprise she sat petrified, lips still locked onto Fred's then registered the situation speedily, melting instantly into the kiss letting her hands travel up and around his neck.

Wolf whistles sounded throughout the room. Nox pulled back, unwrapping her body from her lovers taking a seat back on the armrest, lacing their hands as one. Nox matched Ginny's crimson cheek shade, laughing breathlessly. Molly came rushing into the opening of the crowded living room, wanting a valid reason for the sudden eruption of noise but understood once she glanced at the ferociously embarrassed Nox, who went at all ends to avoid eye contact. Raising an eyebrow she ditched the kids, disappearing behind the photo covered wall.

Nox hid her face in Fred's chest who chuckled brightly. Nox still slightly flabbergasted grinned from ear to ear feeling Fred's lips press delicately to her forehead, murmuring her favorite words followed by a sweet compliment.

"I love you, darling. You're adorable when you blush, don't forget it."
