Guinevere's POV

It's Christmas day and the family gathering has been moved to my house. In fact everyone is coming aside from Molly's aunt Muriel. Thank Merlin. She drives everyone batty. Remus is due to arrive soon. "Guinevere honey, please set the table" mum tells me.

"Yes mum" I say and grab the plates. I start to place them on the table. When there's a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" I shout and race to the front door. I open it to see Remus. "Remus, you made it!" I cheer giving him a hug. "Come in, you can help me set the table" I tell him.

"Where are your parents?" he asks me as he grabs the cutlery.

"Mum is in the kitchen, dad went to get Bilius" I tell him. "Sorry for the change of location, apparently Molly and Arthur have something they want to tell us. Molly's two brothers will be here also, along with her parents" I explain.

"And you're sure it's ok that I'm here?" he asks me. "This seems like an important family occasion" he states.

"Arthur said it's fine, besides I want my family to know who you are" I tell him. Just then mum appears. "Mum, I'd like you to meet Remus" I say with a smile. "Remus, my mother Cedrella" I say.

"Pleasure to meet you Mrs Weasley" Remus says.

"Oh please, call me Ella" mum tells him. "It's nice to see Guinevere finally have a boyfriend. She's always so busy studying and causing mischeif with Bilius" she states.

"We aren't dating yet mum" I tell her with a blush.

"But I hope to make things official before winter break ends" Remus adds.

"Marvelous, now the others should be here soon" mum tells us. Just the the bell goes. "I'll get it, please finish setting the table" she tells us before leaving us to it. Remus and I get back to work. I'm soon sandwiched in a hug by the Prewett twins. Remus growls.

"It's fine Moony" I tell him. "Guys, I can't breath" I say.

"Sorry Guinevere" they say letting me go. "Merry Christmas" they add. "To you to Remus" they say.

"Merry Christmas guys" Remus says as mum appears with Mr and Mrs Prewett. I hug them and introduce them to Remus.

"You have good taste dear, he looks smart and it cute" Mrs Prewett tells me.

"Thank you" I say as dad appears with Bilius. "Bilius!" I cheer and ran over giving him a big hug. "I've missed you big brother" I tell him.

"I've miss you little sister, staying out of trouble?" he asks.

"Don't I always?" I ask winking at him. He's the one who taught me how to not get caught.

"That's my little sister" he says proudly.

"No mischief today you two, this is an important family occassion and we have a guest" dad tells us.

"Yes dad" we say as Arthur appears with his family.

"Aunty Guin!" Bill and Charlie shout. Rushing over and jumping into my arms.

"I've missed my two favourite nephews" I tell them.

"We're your only nephews" Bill tells me.

"Luv you" Charlie says kissing me cheek. I put them down and greet Arthur & Molly.

"Ok everyone, this is my good friend Remus. Remus this is my family" I say and introduce everyone.

"It's an honour to meet you all" Remus tells them.

"Well lunch is nearly ready, so why don't you all take your seats" mum tells us. We do so and Mrs Prewett goes to help her in the kitchen with Molly.

"How come you aren't helping?" Remus asks me.

"I somehow burn water" I tell him sheepishly.

"She nearly burnt the house down in her third year" Bilius chuckles.

"Mum hasn't trusted her in the kitchen since" Arthur adds.

"I remember this story" Gideon says.

"Weren't you trying to make toast?" Fabian asks me.

"How was I suppose to know you don't put butter on bread before you put it in the toaster?" I ask and they all laugh.

"Can you cook Remus?" Arthur asks.

"A little, I help my mum in the kitchen" Remus states.

"At least you won't starve then" the twins state. "By the way, when did you two start dating?" they ask.

"You turned me down last year, what's he got that I don't?" Gideon asks me.

"A brain" I say and everyone laughs. "Besides your sister is married to my brother. It'd be weird if we dated" I state.

"True" he agrees.

"Anyway, nothing is official yet. We're using the holidays to meet each others families and get to know each other better" Remus tells them. Food is served and we enjoy lunch. Before going to the living room to exchange gifts. "Merry Christmas Guinevere" he says handing me a gift.

"Thank you Remus" I say and open it to find a handmade leather bracelet. With a craved wooden wolf charm and fox charm. "It's beautiful" I say as let him but it on me. "This is from me" I say handing him my gift to him.

He opens it and smiles at the hand made scarf. He wraps is around his neck and gives me a hug. Molly gave us all a knitted sweater with our initials on it. When that was done, we gather around the piano as dad plays it. Singing wizard and muggle Christmas carols. Remus taught us the muggle ones.

"Ok, Molly and I have a special announcement" Arthur tells us as he wraps his arms around Molly. Charlie is having a nap while Bill plays on his toy broom.

"We were going to wait until the Easter holidays to tell everyone. But we just couldn't wait to share the news" Molly tells us.

"That and we are going away for Easter as we won tickets to Romanian" Arthur states.

"We're expecting our third baby in August" Molly announces. We congratulate them, each giving Molly a gentle hug. "We want to be the ones to tell everyone, so please don't tell anyone" she tells us. We agree to keep the secret. They all start to leave.

"My dad will be here soon, I'll see you in a few days on the second" Remus tells me. "Here's my address, you can use the floo network" he tells me. Handing me a piece of parchment.

"Thanks and I'm happy you were here" I tell him.

"It was diffinetly different from my usual Christmas. It's only be and my parents. It felt nice being apart of a big family get together" he tells me.

"At the rate Molly and Arthur are going, our family will continue to grow for the next several years" I tell him. I hug him and peck him on the cheek. "Thank you for the gift, stay warm" I tell him.

"I will and thanks for the scarf" he tells me. Dad appears.

"Remus' dad is here" he states.

"Good bye Guinevere" Remus says.

"See you later Remus" I say. We hug and he left. I put my gifts in my room and sit down on the couch with my new book from mum. Human Heart Hairy Snout. She knows I love magical creatures and think werewolves are misunderstood. She's always supported me in my goal to make things better for werewolves everywhere. That was before I even knew Remus was one and was my mate.
