Third Persons POV

Guinevere is running late meeting her friends for breakfast. She yawns and turns a corner running into Remus. "Damn it" she says as her books go everywhere.

"Sorry Guinevere" Remus says tiredly.

"It's not your fault, I should of paid more attention. I'm just tired" she mutters as she summons her books. She then gives him a smile.

"How come you're tired?" Remus asks her. Guinevere thinks quickly. She couldn't say she ran from a werewolf last night and slept in the forest.

"I was in the astronomy tower, doing my chart. It's due tonight and I kind of forgot about it. Then fell asleep up there, which I regretted this morning as I was freezing" she states.

"Guin, there you are!" Marlene says as she joined the pair. "Come on, the others are waiting" she states.

"Of course, see you Potions" Guinevere tells Remus. Before leaving with Marlene for the great hall. Just then the other marauders appear.

"We went to the great hall early and no one looks as tired as us" James tells Remus.

"Maybe they drank a wideye potion" Peter suggests.

"I just saw Guinevere and she looked exhausted" Remus tells the group.

"Guinevere?" James asks.

"As in Guinevere Weasley? The girl who beat Prongs out of being Gryffindors seeker?" Sirius asks.

"Yes" Remus states.

"But why would she torment Sirius?" Peter asks.

"Well Sirius did break Marlene's heart at the beginning of the year and she is one of Guinevere's best friends" James states.

"She also has red hair and blue eyes, like the fox" Sirius adds.

"But she doesn't seem like the type to break rules, let alone a law" Remus tells them.

"She still has a motive and has similar features to the fox. We need to investigate" James states.

"Wormtail can tail her" Sirius states.

"What? Why me?" Peter squeaks.

"Because you can turn into a rat and go unseen when you want too. If she really is the fox, then we can confront her" Sirius states.

"But what about my classes?" Peter asks.

"We'll take notes for you and make up an excuse" James assures him. Peter finally agrees to tail Guinevere for the day. They all go to the great hall for breakfast.

Guinevere's POV

"Where were you last night?" Lily demands as soon as I sit down with Marlene.

"Your bed was empty" Alice adds.

"Fell asleep in the library" I lie.

"We'll discuss this later" Lily mutters. We have breakfast. Before Marlene went to Divination with Alice. While Lily and I walk to Arithmancy. "You were exploring the forest again weren't you?" she asks me.

"So? I was perfectly safe" I mutter.

"It's bad enough you turn into Trixie, you can't be out after curfew" she tells me.

"Oh spare me the speech" I grumble.

"What if you were attacked?" she asks me.

"If you're so worried why don't you become an animagus and join me" I tell her.

"Because I'm a prefect and can't break rules" she states.

"Honestly Lily, you used to be more fun" I grumble. "By the way, did you notice how tired the Marauders looked?" I ask her.

"Yes, probably up late planning another prank" she grumbles. "They have a new nickname for Black though. I heard James call him Padfoot this morning" she states. That's the name of the dog from last night. So I was right, it was Sirius. But which is Prongs? Also there were four creatures last night and there are four marauders. It has to be them. I remember Sirius calling Remus Moony once, so he must be the werewolf. Peter has to be the rat, which makes James the Stag and I chuckle. "What's so funny?" she asks me.

"Your patronus is a Doe right?" I ask her smirking.

"Yes, so?" she asks me.

"Oh you'll find out one day" I tell her as we reach Arithmancy. We go inside and take our usual seats. We handed in our homework and class began. After Arithmancy we went to Potions and meet the others. Slughorn gives us a lecture on Moonstones and what they are used for in potion making. Afterwards we all head down to Herbology. Where we had revision on mandrakes.

We then all go to lunch and I notice the Marauders talking in whispers. Glancing at us every now and then. I frown in confusion. But decide to ignore it. After lunch we had Transfiguration, my best subject. Followed by Ancient Runes.

I decide to go for a stroll before dinner, to see if I can stalk Sirius. I find him alone of the seventh floor and smirk. I know it's risky after last night. But I can't resist taunting him. I make sure no one is around and transform into my fox Trixie.

I begin to follow him and he soon notices me in the window. He takes off running and I frown in confusion. I give chase. He goes around a corner and I follow only to be hit with a body bind curse. I whine as I try to break free of it. "Caught you fox or should we call you Guinevere?" Sirius asks me smirking. As I notice him and the other marauders standing over me. I curse my stupidity, it was a trap and I walked right into it.
