Chapter 1

Third Person POV . . .

Utter shock filled the hole orphanage of Sungarden. A yellow taxi was parked outside the small building. Mrs.Shiller rushed out of the entrance door, and ran to the yellowish car.  Three teens silently stepped out of it. Belletrix looked hopelessly at Gazel. Ever since he lost against Xavier during the match against  Inazuma Japan, not a word has ever came out of his mouth. Black lines were starting to form under his eyes, and his once smooth hair was now a total mess. His eyes were dull, leaving them close to lifeless. Lina pulled the boy  into a tight hug, but he never hugged her back. It was all too much for him, he had already pushed away the girl he loved, and had lost against the boy he always wished to surpass. Torch glared at his friend. In his mind, he thought Gazel's breakdown was ridiculous. He believed it was a waste of time to sit down and watch everything he built crumble into ashes.

"So you actually broke down Gazel," Torch quickly turned his attention to the the entrance for the small orphanage, and locked eyes with Xavier.

As for Gazel, he slowly pushed Mrs.Shiller away, and stared, with his lifeless eyes at the entrance door. A sad smile crept on Xavier's lips, as he walked towards him. Gazel's blank expression did not change. Most people would expect a brother like greeting from Xavier, but no, he did the complete opposite. Within a second, the red-head raised his hand swiftly, and slapped Gazel across the face. Everyone froze, it was harsh, unexpected, and brutal.

" Your a disappointment to soccer," he hissed, " How can you throw it away just like that?!"

No reply came from Gazel, only wide eyes, and an open mouth. In Torch's thought, Xavier nailed it. He had somehow managed to flick a small flame in the silver-haired boy. It did not fully effect him yet, it needed one more person, but that person had already been more than just busy.

"Jane! Pass it!" Axel yelled, running across the field.

It was one of those rare days when Jane, Axel, Nathan, Mark, Jude, and David would meet up, and practice by the river bank. Appearently, ever since the FFI Tornament ended, all the members of "Inazuma Japan" were sent back to their previous schools. Somehow Jane, and a few others were able to meet up every few days to hang out together. As for when the players left, it was a different story for Jane.

" Get it Axel!" Jane kicked the ball towards the spiky-haired boy, who swiftly jumped into the air and shot the ball towards the goalpost, only to get blocked by Mark.

"That was so close!" The teen girl cheered, jumping on her friend's back, like a little child.

A small chuckle escaped Axel's lips, and both of them crashed to the grassy floor. If I forgot to mention, those few days gave Jane and Axel enough time to form a strong friendship. They were not the only ones though, Nathan and Mark had been busy talking about the old days. Jude and David had new information about strategies being their top conversation in their topics.

" That was fun, as usual", Jane mumbled, closing her eyes, and lying on the floor.

Axel glanced at the girl, and sighed, " You make it sound boring."

The two friends sat up, and stared at the benches. Young Julia Blaze sat there while drawing something on her purple notepad. She happily swung her legs fourth and back, while humming in a cheery tune.
Jane had gained a large interest in the child. Her bright smile never seemed to leave her mind. Julia finally noticed the two players gazing at her and ran over to them.

"Wanna see what I drew Axel?!" She asked her older brother excitedly, with a slight blush on her face.

Once the boy nodded, Julia opened her notepad, and gave it to him. A red blush covered he tanned cheeks. Jane slowly inched closer to him, and glanced at the notepad. It was pretty awkward. The book revealed a boy and a girl hugging each other, with a pink heart surrounding them.  Jane was able to stop herself from blushing at first, but after reading the note at the corner of the page, her blush quickly reached her ears.

Me Julia Blaze believes, that big brother would be perfect with Jane!
Jane is so nice and funny!
Big brother is cold at the outside, but kind, and caring from the inside!
They are perfect for each other!

Axel quickly closed the small book, and gave it back to his sister. The blush had dominated his face, and he was closing his eyes nervously. Jane simply turned away, scratching her head awkwardly. Mark, Nathan, Jude , and David ran towards them and looked at them in confusion. The pair were the definition of tomatoes. Julia showed the four boys the small note, which only resulted in Mark, and Nathan turned into tomatoes as well, but Jude, and David had mischevious smirks instead.

"You should not be thinking about things like that Julia," Axel warned the young girl, handing her back her notepad, and ruffling her brown hair.

David raised his eyebrows in amusement, and teased," Don't be hard on her Axel."

The ace-striker sighed in annoyance and closed his eyes as he felt his eyebrow twitched slightly. He was not planning to erase his sister's pure self. Jane on the other hand, was staring at the bright, yellow sun as it floated in the clear, blue sky. It has been a few years since the tournament ended, but Jane had not received a single letter from Gazel nor Torch, and not a word was heared from Belletrix. The girl did not allow worry to take over her mind. Every day, she would wake up , water the red tulip at her window, continue her studies normally, and eventually practice soccer by the river bank at the end of day with the soccer members of Royal Academy.

" Hey Jane," she turned to Mark, who was crouching next to her, with a curious look.

" Do you have a thing for Axel?" He whispered, with a small pink blush on his cheeks.

Jane's red face slowly softened, and she turned her gaze back to the sky. The blush was fading from her sweaty cheeks, and her eyes were filled in wonder.

" I really don't know my own feelings for anyone anymore. I already messed up a lot before."
