Chapter 39--Part 2--

Third person POV . . .

Lucian  was caught up with surprise, and astonishment. He never thought that the young, teen girl would be so bold to pin him down to the ground. Thankfully coach Lee was focused on driving the small bus, and was not paying them no mind. Jane noticed her sudden anger, and let go of the demon boy.

"Don't try anything fishy like that again", she warned him.

Lucian simply chuckled wholeheartedly, and poked her forehead. He was slowly being cleansed from the darkness, and he did not notice. No one did. the teen girl simply looked at him in confusion, and stood up.

" you soccer players are sure different from other people", he chuckled," but you should be thankful that I  allowed you to borrow my power during the match."

For a minute, Jane stared at him as if he grew a second head. The thoughts were totally confused, but then the memory of the Strange demon during yesterday's match popped into her head.

"I think I get it", she mumbled, while scratching her head awkwardly.

Luciain slowly recovered from his laughter, and stared at the girl, with a hopeless smile, and said,"  took you long enough to notice."

The rest of the ride was surprisingly silent. Luciain refused to leave the girl alone, and insisted on staying with her. Once they reached the airport, coach Lee wished her a safe trip back to Japan. Surprisingly, the girl felt happy to go back home.

"Aren't you going to leave me?", Jane asked, as she strolled through the large halls.

Luciain did not leave her. In fact, he disguised himself as a human by making his ocean blue wings, and small horns disappear, and replacing his tight battle uniform; with simple blue pants, a plain white shirt, and a crimson coloured collar, that  hung loosely around his neck. The idiot was getting annoying, but the only thing that stopped her from loosing her nerve was the strange boy, with green hair.

"You should always have someone around just encase", Jane was totally ignoring the demon's logic, and quickened her pace.

"Your a handful all right", she kept hissing, until she reached her desalinated plane.

Once she to submit her plane ticket to the hostess, and felt that Lucian would finally leave her, but she was dead wrong. The teen demon held a small blank paper between his fingers. It took less than a second for it to be emerged in a bluish liquid, that was seeping out of his skin like magic, and transforming the piece of paper into a plane ticket. The hostess did not seem to notice the magic trick, and accepted his ticket. Luciain gladly took a seat beside Jane, and the girl would hold back her nerves the hole flight.

Could her day get stranger?

yes, yes indead

Jane slowly made her way to the exit of the airport. She dragged her feet across the smooth floor, and looked around the crowd, to stop a familiar red-head running towards her, and pulling her exhausted body into a tight, bear hug.

"N-nice to s-see you too X-xavier," she was barely able to breath, and slowly broke the hug.

"sorry, I think I over did it," he giggled awkwardly, with a tint of red on his face.

"Ah! So your Jane!", the girl turned around to the owner of the voice, and was stunned to see a teen boy, who had a wide grin on his face, and his pure green hair tied in a ponytail, but one thing was for sure he was not the same boy she met in Korea.

"Are you a friend of Xavier's?"she asked, a kind smile covering her face, as she inched closer to him.

A slight blush popped on the boy's hair, once he noticed how close her face was. He glanced at Xavier for support. Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead, and his eyes were quickly filled with anxiousness.

"Jane your too close to Jordan", Xavier finally stepped in, and tugged the girl's arm.

Jane stumbled a few steps backwards, but quickly regained her balance. Coming back to her home country spreaded joy through her veins, that she even forgot all about the teen demon, who stood separately from small group of friends.

"Humans these days are really strange," he mumbled, before turning around on his heels, and slowly disappeared through the large crowd of people.

As for Jane, her worriedthoughts vanished like ash, and it did not take long until it vanished like ash. She more than happy to see Xavier, but deep inside the red-head's mind, he was desperate for an answer for his love confession. The teen girl was grinning from ear to ear the hole grip back home. The sun shone like at bright star at night sky, but the large surprise burst open, when  Ms. Lina dropped them off at the river bank. Every member of "Inazuma Japan" were practicing. Mark stood at the far end of the field discussing new tactics for the teams future match.

" Hey Mark!" Jordan called the cheeky goalkeeper.

It took Mark, and Jude less than a minute to notice of him. A wide grin popped on Mark's face, and he dashed towards his friend, nearly stumbling as he ran. Jude ragged behind him, and had a slight smile on his face. Jane was about to take her first step towards her old team-mates, but Xavier grabbed her head swiftly, causing her to stay in place.

" Jane! Jane! It great to see you!", Mark yelled, giving me a friendly hug.

The boy was childish as ever, and that satisfied Jane to the fullest.

"Yeah, it feels good to be back," she replied, ruffling his hair.

Mark moaned in his childlike voice, as Jane teased him over and over. Jude on the other hand simply shared a handshake, with the girl.

" I bet you have been losing all your matches without me ," Jane teased Mark again, poking his head repeatedly.

It did not take long until the other team members  ran up towards them. To Jane, there were new faces. Some looked at careless, others looked jolly, but one of them certainly caught her eye.  His eyes were filled with isolation, and uneasiness, and his violent hair reminded her of soaring falcons. She stared at him for a few good seconds, but her thoughts were quickly cut off by a mocking voice.

" What's the big fuss? Is it the first time you see a girl idiots?", her attention was dragged of a boy, who had half of his hair shaved off, and rebellious white dye playing between what was left of his hair.

A strange team she thought. Every member had a different personality, but her joy flew out when she spotted her childhood friend between the group of boys. Shawn had a shy smile on his lips as usual, but seeing him was more than enough for Jane. Before the girl knew it, tears of joy were streaming down her cheeks. It has been far too long, and coming back was like stepping back into paradise. The smiling faces around her vanished quickly, but before any of the boys could say anything, a loud girly voice echoed behind them, " Jane! Jane! Your back girl!"

Sue, and Tori walked towards the large group, while carrying a large basket stuffed with triangle-shaped rice-balls. Both of them were dressed in brand new jumpsuits, and had their hair tied in a high ponytail. For a second, Jane felt her legs growing weak, but managed to run to the two girls, and pull them into a desperate hug. More tears flooded her red eyes. Sue patted her friend's back a few times, before escaping her embrace, and whispering," Don't cry now, Xavier can't see you in a mess."

Those few words were enough to spread a mad blush on Jane's cheeks. Tori broke the hug, and glared at Sue. Guys were never her thing, but Sue was the complete opposite. The guys just stared in confusion at the group of girls. They were totally clueless, but Mark was the only one smiling between the them. Tori smacked Sue's head a few times, before turning to Jane, and wrapping her arm around her neck. Sue struggled to carry the heavy basket by herself, as the other two girls chatted carelessly. It was nice to be back, but the true fun was to come in the after noon.
