Chapter 34

Jane's POV . . .

I silently sat on the benches, and watched carefully as all the players patted heavily to keep up the pace. Even though I was focusing on the game, my mind would always wander to the strange energy that errupted from me, and the mysterious boy.

" What's going on here?" I asked myself in a low voice. Sinking deeper into my thoughts, that I even forgot all about the game. For a second, everyone's voice became faint, before going back to normal.

I shook my head, bringing myself back to reality, and bit my lower lip in confusion.

Third Person POV . . .

She could ponder all day, once she returns to Japan, but for the mean time she had to pay attention to the soccer match. Unfortunately, bore-doom took over her, she left quite useless. An idea popped in her head, and she glanced at her coach, with a tactical plan knitting in her mind.

" Um coach!" the young man turned to his wounded player, and raised his eyebrows questionably.

"You won't mind if I go to the bathroom?" She asked innocently. Leaving no signs of nervousness on her face.

Coach Lee eyed the young teen, and nodded his head slowly, showing a few signs of suspicion. Jane smiled innocently, and carefully made her way towards the bathrooms, along with a small limp accompanying her.

The hallways were awfully silent, and only the clattering of footsteps could be heard. It was as if the world was calming down bit by bit, and that was enough to satisfy Jane's heart.

"I cannot remember the last time I left at ease," the teen girl mumbled under her breath, but the heavenly atmosphere disappeared, once the same mysterious boy stumbled in front of her from behind an average banner, which was meant for "Desert Lions".

Jane looked at the boy in confusion, he did not seem like a fan, nor a hater. His emerald hair was tied in cute pigtails, and his eyes were the exact same colour.

" Are you okay? " she asked worriedly, kneeling beside the teen boy, and peering closely at his face.

A slight pink blush crossed the boy's face, and he replied nervously," Y-yeah! I am totally fine!".

Jane smiled brightly at his response." What's your name?" she asked, " Are you a fan?".

The boy shook his head, and pointed his index finger to his face, " My name is Fey, and I am from the future!"

Jane blinked a few times at the boy's blow answer, and felt like he was making fun of her.

" That's not a nice joke! I am sorry, but I don't have interest in such silly things", she hissed , standing up, and continued strolling through the empty hallways.

" It is no joke! You will understand soon", Fey called out to her, as she walked farther away.

Jane glanced one more time at the teen, but he was already gone. What was with that strange answer? And what did he mean? Not wanting to disturb her comfort zone, Jane turned around, and continued walking, without giving Fey's advice another thought.

Once she finished strolling around the large stadium, she headed back to the benches, and took a seat beside her manager silently. Belletrix glanced ta the girl in confusion. It was not likely of Jane to be so peaceful. Usually the teen girl would be bouncing up and down cheerfully, and have a bright atmosphere around her, but this time she had her eyes locked on the game. This was a new side Belletrix saw from Jane, and she felt quite happy to know how much passion her friend maintained for soccer. The young manager could not help, but giggle, before turning her attention back to the game as well, but she knew well as much as the other members of the Korean team, that Jane would not be competing in the "FFI" , due to the injury of her ankle. As time passed, loud cheers erupted from the audience, once Torch and Gazel scored the winning goal for their team. The whistle was blown, announcing the end of the match. A pleasant smile crept on Jane's lips, and she sighed in satisfaction at her team-mates' big win. She was hopping more than anything that her team would be able to make it to the semi-finals without her, and luckily her wish came true. Gazel glance at her from the field, and gave her a quick wink, before being lifted in the air by his team-mates. Jane was stunned by his unexpected actions, and blushed fifty shades of red. Belletrix pinched her friend's red cheeks, and sent her a mischievous smirk.

" He is starting to act more like a boyfriend, be proud", she teased, wrapping her arm around Jane's neck, and chuckling happily.

The teen player could no help, but laugh along with her manager, wishing she could enjoy evry moment in her life the same way.

" Still too young Bell, still too young", she told her friend, giving her a soft smile.
