Third Person POV

Tom set Brody and Sonic on the table "they are going to be okay Jojo" Tom said to the little girl "They are going to be okay right?" Tom asks Maddie "I'm a vet Tom. I don't even know what I'm looking at " Maddie said "Well they are a hedgehog and a wolf or so they say" Tom said "it talks" Maddie said "Almost constantly" Tom said "holy" Maidde said checking Sonic and Prody's pulse "What?" Tom asks "Both their pulses are super fast" Maddie said "That actually may be normal for them" Tom said "I don't know you gotta help them Maddie" He said "I don't know their physiology. They don't seem to have any broken bones" Maddie said and took off Brody and Sonic's old shoes "Aw look at their poor little feet" She said commenting on the holes in their socks "Hang in there buddies" Tom said and Jojo went upstairs "They are going to be okay right? They'll wake up soon?" Tom asks "Oh! You got Vet smelling salts right?" Tom asks "no. I have human smelling salts in my human first aid kit" Maddie said taking it out and puts it close to their noses and Brody and Sonic gasp waking up "Gotta go fast!" They said running around the room and stop standing on the table "Where are we?" Sonic asks "What year is it?" Brody asks "Is the rock president?!" Sonic and Brody asks "Woah calm down buddies you are okay" Tom said "Oh hi pretzel lady" Brody and Sonic said seeing Maddie "Hi" Maddie said "Tom can I talk to you please?" She asks "Sure Tom said and the two walk to the living room "Space wolf, Space hedgehog stay there" Maddie said "You got it" they said and Maddie closed the door "First of all can we acknowledge how undervontrol I've been" Maddie said "Y-yeah amazing" Tom said "Didn't freak out. Totally calm" Maddie said Second of all.....what the heck is going on! Are those things aliens?!" She asks "Okay so remember how Crazy carl is all alwqys gping off about-" "the blue devil and lightning bolt" Maddie finished the sentence "They are real" Maddie said "Yeah" Tom said "What are they doing here?" Maddie asks and started explaining things meanwhile Jojo returned to the kitchen with something behind her back and show Sonic and Brody a pair of red sneakers and orange sneakers "So you won't hurt your feet anymore" she said "Really?" Brody and Sonic asks and she nods and Sonic grabs the red sneakers and Brody grabs the orange sneakers "No one has ever given us a gift before" Brody said "We'll check it off or bucket list" Sonic said and they put on their new shoes and stood up on the table "alright looking good!" They said doing a small dance and then got off the table when they see Tom's dog walk up to them "So" Sonic said "You're supposed to be Tom's best froend he won't shut up about" Brody said and the dog pants "Well we don't see the appeal" Sonic said and the dog starts licking their faces "haha stop" Brody said "That is very gross haha" Sonic said and Tom and Maddie came and told them to go to Maddie's sister car.

As they got in they let Brody drive them to the building(bad idea) and Brody parks with a bit of the car on the boardwalk "Why did we let the space wolf drive?" Maddie asks getting out the car "Hey I got us here and please 5 stars" Brody said as Sonic and Brody stand next to Tom and Maddie "so this is it?" Sonic asked as they all look at the building where the rings are "That's it" Tom said and Sonic and Brody runs to the building "Oh they are gone" Maddie said "Yeah" Tom said and Sonic and Brody came back "No good" Sonic said "You need a special key to get to the roof" Brody said "What now?" Maddie asks "Time to abuse the power entrusted to me" Tom said and they put Sonic and Brody in a bag and Tom used his officer status to get the key and they got on the elevator.

As they got on the elevator a man and a woman got in too and the elevator started going up "How much longer?" Sonic asks "We can't breath in here" Brody said as they squirm in the bag though they were bearly able to move with the stuff in the bag and themselves but Tom and Maddie didn't answer "Hellooooo anybody there?" Sonic and Brody asks scared and the woman looked at the bag and then looked at Tom "Do you have your children in that bag?" She asks "No" Tom said shaking his head "I mean yeah it's two children but they are not mine" he said making things worse "It's not your children?" The man asks worried "Relax I'm a cop okay? Plus they like it in there don't you lovebirds?" Tom asks shaking the bag a bit and you could see Sonic's left eye and Brody's right eye looking out the small gap they left open on the bag and the two frown at what Tom said "Why would we like it in here?" Sonic asks annoyed "This is worse than the cage you put us earlier" Brody said annoyed "We can't even move!" The two whined "Heh such kidders" Tom said chuckling awkwardly and Maddie laughs awkwardly and fully closes the bag "Nononono it's too dark!" Sonic said and the man and woman slowly stepped away from Tom and Maddie "Is anybody there?" Brody asks "Brody could you please move a bit?" Sonic asks "I can't move could you please move?" Brody asks "I can't move either" Sonic said, the two were litterally close thanks to all the stuff in the bag basically their cheeks touching as they give up and silently wait to be out of this bag.

Eventually they reached the roof and got Sonic and Brody out the bag and they cough and both took deep breathes holding onto it each other "what were you keeping in this bag?" Sonic asks "I thought we were goners" Brody said "Alright alright what are we looking for?" Tom asks and Brody runs and grabs the bag of rings "This!" Brody said taking out a ring put the bag around him "Okay what happens now?" Maddie asks "Now all we have to do is think where we want the other end of the ring to appear and we throw it" Brody explained "That's it? We did it?" Tom asks "Yeah we did it" Sonic said "Hey sorry we didnt get to do everything in your bucket lists pals" Tom said "It's okay" Brody said "We did the ones we wanted to do the most" Sonic said and Brody nodded "You three. So cute" Maddie said "Oh please what?" Tom asks "You are" Maddie said "No we are not" Sonic said "Well maybe just Sonic" Brody said "What?" Sonic asks "Yeah I can agree on that" Tom said "What?! Oh I get it I'm the cute one. No I'm not!" Sonic said "Well you are always cuddling up to Brody" Tom said "Have you ever slept with a wolf? His fur is SO comfortable and fluffy!" Sonic said and Brody scratches behind Sonic's ear making purr "Not cute huh?" Tom asks "Oh okay you know what? You three are very wrong and mean" Sonic said "Sure we are" Brody said chuckling "Oh yeah you two gotta go" Tom said "Oh yeah" Brody and Sonic said "Just one more thing" Brody and Sonic said and Tom crluches looking at them "We are sorry we were so hard on you" Sonic said "We know it's a tough decision to leave Green Hills" Brody said "Walking away from something you care about must be so painful" Sonic said "Yeah. Really sure you two don't wanna go" Tom said "We don't wanna go" Sonic said "But we can't stay here" Brody said "As long as we are here we put everyone around us in danger" Sonic said "we can't do that" Brody said "We just wanted you to know" Sonic said "That this last two days" Brody said "Have been the best two days of our lives" Brody and Sonic said together "Well" Tom said standing up "I never thought I would say this but I'm actually going to miss you Blue Devil and Lightning Bolt" Tom said "We'll miss you too Donut Lord" Brody said "Thank you" Brody and Sonic said smiling "for what?" Tom asks "For saving our lives" Sonic said.

Brody and Sonic turned around and Brody takes out a ring and throws it but it bump into one of Robotnik's drones falling down "Okay this guy just won't quit" Brody said as they all were surrounded and Robotnik came in an hover machine with a new outfit "Welcome to San Francisco Mister Wachowski" Robotnik said "are you enjoying the view?" He asks "That's the goverment wackjob that keeps trying to kill us. Unsuccesfully!" Tom said to Maddie making Robotnik frown "You are catching fire Thomas. Oh and speaking of which I see you've taken a lover" Robotnik said referring to Maddie "Does she have a name? Or should we just call her collateral damage" Robotnik said "Hey! Watch your mouth unless you want a little more of what I gave you earlier" Tom said "I punched him in the face" he said to Maddie "Oh! It was awesome!" Brody and and Sonic said "The time for talking is over! Is time to push buttons" Robotnik said "Your flying eggs are impressive mister Eggman but let's face it" Sonic said "You'll never catch us" Brody said "Confidence. A fool's substitute for intelligence" Robotnik said lifting up a switch with a button to use Sonic's quill and Brody's fur strand's energy and the drones take out their guns "That's not good" Brody said "Uh Sonic, Brody I know you two got the super speed and everything but Maddie and I" Tom said "Totally defensless probably gonna get blown up" Sonic said"Yeah" Tom said "Don't worry" Sonic said "We know exactly what to do" Brody said and the two run to the door and use it to jump foward and push Tom and Maddie off the building making them scream and suprising Robotnik "I was not expecting that. But I was expecting not to expect something so it doesn't count" Robotnik said and the drones fired and time slowed down for Brody and Sonic.

They smile cocky and push some of the bullets and missiles aside unaware that Robotnik was slowly going to push the button. Brody and Sonic grab a small missile and use it as a drum stick on some bullets and then use another for a drone as they both jump on one making them explode slowly, they grabbed two more and slide under two drones using the rockets on them making them explode and just then Robotnik pressed the button and his hover starts emanating blue and red electricity from Brody's fur strand and Sonic's quill allowing him to be like Sonic and Brody when time slows down or stops around them and he flyes upward while Brody and Sonic run and turn two drones to shoot each other and then turn around walking backwards doing finger guns but then they widen their eyes seeing Eggman flying at them aiming at them "No!" They said and they tried to run off but Eggman shoots the wall under them sending them flying making time return to normal.

Brody and Sonic open their eyes seeing they are falling too and their rings all over falling and they try to reach one ring "Come on! Come on come on!" They said and Sonic took off one of his quills and use it to grab the ring and they run down the building and he throws the ring making a portal to someone's farm in Green hills and Tom and Maddie entered the portal and it closed and they slide off and hit tree branches landing on the floor amd the rongs land next to them as well as all of Eggman's broken drones

"Can I give you two one genius piece of advice?" Eggman asks "Don't run. It'll only hurt more if you do" he said "Alright Eggman you wanna get fast?" Brody asks "Let's get fast!" Sonic said and they put all the rings in the bag and ran away "The hard way it is" Eggman said chasing after them.

Sonic: soo here we are again

Brody: we've been through so much together

Sonic: Now you understand why is there a psychotic robot

Brody: chasing a super sonic blue hedgehog and yellow wolf

Sonic: wanna know how it ends?

Brody: yeah us too

Brody's POV

We run from Eggman as he shoots at us missing but for some weird reason we can't lose him he's keeping up with us "How is this possible Brody? No one's ever caught up to us before!" Sonic said nervous "I don't know! But we are losing him one way or another" I said taking out a ring and throw it making a portal to France and we go through but Eggman is still following us "coming through!" We said and then I made a portal to the great wall of China but he's still chasing us "We can't lose him!" We said as I open a portal to egypt and we stopped getting an idea as Eghman turns around "If you can't beat them" I said "Blind them" Sonic finished and we ran around Eggman in circles creating a sand tornado and we ran up a pyramid "You two aren't allowed there" Eggman said "It's one of the seven wonders" he said and flew out the tornado I threw a ring makimg a portal to Green hills and I looked behind seeing Eggman aiming at us "Sonic look out!" I said pulling Sonic infront as Eggman shoots sending us flying through the portal.

Sonic's POV

I landed on Brody's back as he slid across the street "Ughhh. Nice save Brody! Thanks!" I said smilig but it quickly turned into a worried smile when Brody didn't respond and his eyes were closed "Hey now Brody, you know I don't like these types of jokes" I said shaking him lightly but he didn't respond "Brody. This isn't funny! Brody!" I yelled tears starting to fall shaking him more.

Third Person POV

As Sonic tried to wake up Brody Tom, Maddie and a farmer arrive to the scene as Robotnik appeared out the portal laughing "You two are an astonishingly little creatures" Eggman said but Sonic ignored him shaking Brody, Tom saw the bag of rings and picked it up "it'll be fun to take you two to the lab. Any last words?" Eggman asks "Brody please! I know you! You are stronger than that!" Sonic said not caring about what Eggman was saying shaking Brody more turning him around and a portal appeared behind Eggman by Tom who used it to get on Eggman's hover "Fine ignore me it'll be less painful for him since he's out" Eggman said "Mind if I sit?" Tom asks "What the?" Eggman asks and Tom punches him on the face and they fight "Who the hell do you think you are?" Eggman asks and Tom grabs him pushing him down "I'm the donut lord you son of bi-agg!" Tom said as Eggman elbowed him and pushed him off his hover and Maddie rushed to Tom "Why? Why would you throw your life away for these things?" Eggman asks "That's why I don't have friends. Next thing you know you are someone's best man and they want to have the wedding out of town like anoyne doesn't have anything better to do!" Eggman said "Anyway where were we? Oh yes you're about to die" Eggman said as Wade fires q bullet shooting it next to Eggman "That's our sheriff you're messing with" Wade said and Tom looks suprised "And our Blue devil and lightning bolt who as everyone can see are very real creatures and not all invented by me" Crazy Earl said with a chainsaw.

Tom and Maddie perk up when they hear sobbing and they look behind them to see Sonic with his head on Brody's chest sobbing "Brody...no...why.." Sonic said inbetween sobs and Tom and Maddie look at Brody sad "I don't mean to be indelicate here but someone should bring ice, keep the body fresh. And a cage for the hedgehog" Eggman said and Tom looks down as Maddie rubs his back "They are just some silly little aliens. They didn't belong here!" Eggman said annoyed "Those little aliens...knew more about being humans than you'll ever will" Tom said getting up "His name was Brody and that hedgehog is Sonic. This was their home and they are my friends" Tom said.

Suddenly Brody opened his eyes, his pupils red as red electricity emanates and shows around his body. Sonic looks up suprised just like Tom and Maddie. Brody slowly gets up "Brody?" Sonic ask in disbelief and Brody helps him up wiping his tears away "Brody!" Sonic said hugging him and he started to emanate blue electricity and his pupils turned blue as he pulls away and nods and they both glare at Eggman "He's all yours" Tom said relieved as he and Maddie went with the others "Everyone get back!" He said.

"I think you got something that belongs to us!" Brody said as he and Sonic clench their fists taking the energy from the quilm and fur strand eggman had absorbing them leaving them empty "This is our power" Brody said "And we are not using it to run away anymore" Sonic said "We are using it to protect.our.friends!" Brody and Sonic said together and Eggman aimd a lot of guns at them and he fires and Brody and Sonic run dodging them and then jump to walls on opposite sides and start hitting Eggman from every possible angle leaving the hover bearly functioning "Now you've done it!" Eggman said "Guess what Eggman?" Brody asks "We are not! Meaving Earth" Sonic said "You are!" Brody said "Donut Lord" Brody and Sonic said looking at Tom and he nods taking out a ring and throwa it behind Eggman making a portal to the mushroom planet and Eggman charges at them and Brody and Sonic grin and run at him and roll into a ball sending two shockwaves that shatter the glass into dust sending Eggman flying into the portal "Nooooooo!" Eggman yelled as the portal closed and Brody and Sonic's electricity disappeared and everyone cheered and clapped "Hey! Told you two you got this" Tom said walking to them "No we got this" Sonic said "the three of us" Brody said and Tom raises his two hands for high-fives and Sonic and Brody gasps with big smiles amd they run in circles happy before jumping foward and High-fiving with Tom and they smile big at them "These belong to you two" Tom said holding the bag of rings "Thank you very much" Sonic said "No more pushing people off buildings" Tom said "You know we can't promise that" Brody said and Tom gave the bag to Brody "You did good Space wolf and hedgehog" Tom said "Thanks Donut lord" Brody and Sonic said "You are gonna explain this donut lord thing?" Maddie asks "No sorry this is a thing between me and the little guys right?" Tom asks and Sonic and Brody nodded "You know maybe we don't have to leave green hills" he said "Really?" Maddie asks "Yeah I think I checked save someone's life from my bucket list" He said "Now all I wanna do is spend my time with the people I care about" he said "okay that's great" Maddie said and they started to walk away with Brody and Sonic and rest for the night.

*A few days later*

It's been calm lately and Tom and Maddie were painting the hpuse when there was a knock om the door and they opened it to see the commander of the pentagon "Mr and Mrs wachowski" he said "Yes?" Tom asks and the commander gives him a letter "A token of appreciation from the giverment for keeping quiet regarding the recent incidents which never occured" he said and Tom took it and opened it and it was a special card for a store call Olive Garden "Well um thank you we appreciate the gesture" Maddie said "Oh hey I giess we can close the file on that Robotnik guy huh?" Tom asked "I'm sorry but no such person exists or ever has existed" The commander said trying to make Robotnik be as if he never existed "wish it was true" Tom mumbled "You two haven't been in contact with two space creatures after the incident were you? Uncle Sam would love to have a chat with them. Very casual" The commander said "Oh yeah mean that blue and yellow guy? Nope nothing doubt we'll hear from them again" Tom said "Very well" the commander said "good" Tom said "Bye" Maddie and Tom said closing the door while the commander tried to see if he could find Brody and Sonic.

"So you guys wanna watch a movie?" Brody and Sonic asks popping behind the couch "Sorry buddies but it's school night it's time for you two to go back to your cave" Maddie said "What? It's three in the afternoon!" Brody and Sonic said sitting on the couch "You know how you two get when you get tired come on" Tom said "Us? We are not like anything ugh you guys are so uncool" Brody and Sonic said walking to the door "Yeah. Hey where are you two going?" Tom asks "You said we have to go back to our cave" Brody said "We did" Tom said and they guided Sonic and Brody to the attic and they took a peak inside and their eyes shine seeing the attic turned into a room with a spirts car bed some speed signs and light adorning the room "Oh my are you kidding us?" Brody and Sonic asked in awe as all the things from their cave was here and they run around laid on the bed "We love it we love it we love it!" They said happy and they sat up and Tom and Maddie sat at their sides "Well. Welcome home you two" Maddie said "Thank you" they said "Thank you so much" they said tearing up and they wipe their tears as Tom's dog came over "Oh no you don't" Brody said "No second best animal friends in our room" Sonic said and the dog wags his tail "Hey what are you doing?" Brody asks as the dog starts licking their faces "Stop" Sonic said but te dog kept doing it "haha stop stop okay you can stay" Brody and Sonic said laughing and they smile happy.

After so many years of running and hiding Brody and Sonic had finally found a place to call home again and a family and people that cares about them like Longclaw did.
