Third Person POV

Tom poked Brody and Sonic who were uncouncious with a spatula and then grabbed the blue quill and yellow fur "huh the Blue devil and lightning bolt" Tom said and turned around setting the two pieces down.

Brody's POV

I groaned slowly opening my eyes to see I'm laying inside a cage I felt my head aching, I looked down seeing Sonic snuggled ontop of me sleeping I lightly shake him and he groans opening his eyes and we help each other stand since our legs feel like jelly, we opened the cage door and stepped out and used it for support and we saw the donut lord and he turned around "Donut lord?" We asked both of us still dizzy "You two can talk" he said "You're not here to abduct me are you?" He asked.

Third Person POV

"What are you talking about?" Sonic asked holding ont Brody for weight "You abducted us" Brody said "Okay...that's a fair point" Tom said "What are you two? Why were you both in my garage?" Tom asks "W-we just needed somewhere safe" Sonic said "And you were the only one we could think of donut lord" Brody said "Why do you two keep calling me donut lord?" Tom asks "Because you talk to donuts" Brody said "and then eat them if they get out of line" Sonic said "again fair" Tom said "wait wait where are the mushrooms?" Sonic asks "Why are we still on earth?" Brody asked "Oh no we lost the rings" he said "oh no no no" Sonic said and the three heard a truck moving "What's happening? Is this your mother ship?" Tom asks walking to the window "Not in any mood to get probed" he said "You think you are worried we are not wearing any pants" Sonic said and Tom moved the curtain "ahh!" Sonic and Brody said clising the curtain when they saw the truck "They are coming for us!" Sonic said "Who is comong for you two? What's that got to do with me?" Tom asks "We don't have time to explain but you have to help us" Brody said "No I don't" Tom said "why?" He asked "Well our legs...which would normally be classified as lethal weapons" Sonic said "feel like spaghetti. We need your help please. It's life or death" Brody said and Tom sighed "Fine you two cone with me" he said unable to deny helping and walked off.

Sonic and Brody would follow but when they tried to jump off the table they were standing they ended up falling fae first on the floor due to their legs still being partly paralized "uh little help?" The two asked.

Meanwhile Robotnik stepped out the truck and analized Brody and Sonic's footprints using his glove. Tom in the mean time put Sonic and Brody in the attic "Alright you two stay here and be quiet" Tom said "good plan" Brody said "Great plan" Sonic said "we are already working so well together three" Brody said "practically finishing each other's semtences" Sonic said and Tom went down closing the Attic "Oh okay bye" Brody and Sonic said.

Tom stepped out his house and saw Robotnik outside looking at something "Hello there" Tom said "Can I help you?" He asks and Robotnik stands up and walks towards him "Good morning my rural champ" Robotnik said "I'mmmmm from the power company investigating the black out" He said "if you don't mind I'd like to take a few readings inside your house" he said "No kidding. You are from the power company? Oh you must know my buddy Spencer. We played football" Tom said "Oh Spence.*deep breath* He's a good man!" Robotnik said lying "Yeah yeah, oh! Come on in!" Tom said  "right" Robotnik said "Take all the readings you need except uh" Tom said blocking the entrance with his arm "The power company takes readings outside the house. Also my buddy Spencer works for the gas company" Tom said "So you wanna tell me why you think I'm dumb enough to let you walk inside my house?" He asks and Robotnik without Tom noticing activated two drones and had them enter from the open window of the attic "I'm sorry mister..." Robotnik said "Wachowski but people call me Tom. Except my dentist, he calls me Tim he's been doing that for so long it'd be weird to correct him now" Tom said "Well Tom who's denstist calls him Tim. You may have noticed this entire town has experienced a power outage" Robotnik said "Yup no lights, picked up on that" Tom said "20 minutes ago I tracked two energy pulses with similar signatures with what caused the outage" Robotnik said.

Meanwhile one drone got in the attic and started scanning. Brody and Sonic where hiding behind some boxes, Sonic holding onto Brody's arm scared and Brody guided them for a place to hide meanwhile with Tom and Robotnik.

"Listen uh Mr...." Tom said "Doctor. Doctor Robotnik but my dentist calls me Rob" Robotnik said "Look Dr Robotschitz..I'm sure  it's a serious matter but it's got nothing to do with me" Tom said "You can ask in town everyone knows me" he said "I bet they do. I'm sure you're hella popular gibs, jobs and the billybobs in this glorified gast station rest stop. Maybe someday you'll achieve what you want but the fact is I surpassed you in EVERYTHING.YOU'RE.EVER.GOING.TO.DO before I was a toddler" Robotnik said "Mister Wachowski are you familiar with US code 904 title 10 article 104?" He asks "Yeah-" "ANYONE! Who attempts to aid an enemy of the united states shall suffer death" he Robotnik said and pointed at Tom "And If I'm the one that catches you it'll be even worse" he said "Worse than death?" Tom ask.

Back in the attic Brody and Sonic are both rolled into balls and hid with the other balls "okay we are balls we can do it. We can do it right Brody?" Sonic asks nervous "Yes Sonic just stay calm" Brody said "I hope they aren't doing x-ray we had an embarrasing lunch" Sonoc said and another drone came in and almost closed in on Sonoc and Brody but the two freaked out and rolled away and ended rolling down into the house crashing on a table in the kitchen.

Robotnik and Tom heard the noise and Robotnik pushed Tom away and got inside the house and Tom followed him and when they got to the kitchen they only saw a racoon eating a cake but Brody and Sonic where hiding under the table "Here's the thing" Robotnik said and raised a finger "I'm never wrong" he said "Well first time for everything I guess woukd you like some cake?" Tom asks as the racoon and Robotnik frowns and turns around and finds Sonic's quill with Brody's fur strand next to it and he picks them up with a smirk then looks at Tom "Look at that I was right. Look at my look of suprise" Robotnik said not looking suprised at all "Should we try this again?" He asks and whistles making his drone come over and Sonic and Brody look scared still hiding and the drones takes out it's weapons "I'm going to give you 5 seconds. To tell me where they are" Robotnik said "5" he said "I don't know what you are talking about" Tom said "Four" Robotnik said "Hey! Tough guy I'm a cop you're threatening an officer" Tom said showing his badge "How can you threathen someone who never existed?" Robotnik asks "3. Come on rack your brain!" He said "Sonic stay here" Bridy whispered "Brody no please" Sonic whispered "two. One" Robotnik said and Brody got out "Wait! Don't hurt him" Brody said raising his arms "Ahhhh!" Robotnik yelled and Tom punch him knocking him down and the drone was about to shot so Tom grabbed Sonic and Brody's hand and took them behind a chaor as the drone shoots "Stay behind me" Tom said and looked only to see Sonic "Sorry but Brody's getting protective and when he does he doesn't listen" Sonic said smiling and Tom looked back seeing Brody getting on a library while the drone recharges, Tom shakes his head no while Sonic gives a thumbs up and Brody gives a thumbs up back "Take this!" Brody said jumping ontop the drone making it loose balance and the drone shoots while spinning around "Don't worry I got him where I wanted!" Brody said "you go Brody!" Sonic said and the robot spins faster "This was a horrible idea what was I thinking?!" Brody said and the drone finally shakes him off "I'm gonna puke" Brody said and Tom grabbed a pan and hit the drone breaking it "Are you okay Brody?" Sonic asked helping Brody stand and Toms picks them both "We gotta get out of here" Tom said running out the house "Aw Don't tell me that's all you got! I'm just getting started, let me know if you want a round two!" Brody said dizzy and Tom sat Brody on the co driver seat and Sonoc sat on Brody's lap "He learned the message" Sonic said nuzzling Brody and Tom got on the drivers sit and drives away  as more cars arrive, Agent Stone got out the car and went to the hpuse "Doctor!" He said helping Robotnik up "Are you okay? I saw a guy drive away and I thought-" "you should stop them?" Robotnik says making Stone shut up "Open your mouth and say you thought you should stop them" He said "No I tought maybe I should check if you're okaaaaa" Stone said when Robotnik grabbed him from the jaw "You know what's hard about being the smartest guy in the world?" Robotnik asks "Everyone else is stupid?" "Yes" Robotnik replied and let go "Whatevere these creatures are it's our job to secure them, neutralize them and uncover the source of their power" Robotnik said "and if they resist we take them apart. Piece by piece. See what makes it tick" he said putting on his glasses "Stone call optical illusions tell them I need new frames" he said taking off his broken glasses "Oh and bring that quill and fur strand" he said leaving the house.

*meanwhile on the middle of the road*

"Alright pals, you two need to start talking right now. Who are you two? What are you two?" Tom asks "I'm a wolf" Brody said "And I'm a hedgehog" Sonic said "I feel like it's obvious and we are in big trouble" Brody said "Oh you two are in big trouble. You two are not the one who punched a goverment weirdo back there" Tom said "You think you got problems?" Sonic asks "We lost our rings!" Brody said "Rings? What are you talking about?" Tom asks "Okay rings are how all advanced cultures travel between worlds" Brody said "And now ours are ontop of a pointy building we only ever seen in your skin-tight T-shirt" Sonic said "So we'd like you to take us to San Francisco so we can get back our rings" Brody said "and use them to go to the mushroom planet" Sonic said "Mushroom planet" tom said "Yes¡" sonic and Brody said "right" Tom said parking the car "Okay pals out you go" He said opening the door for Sonic and Brody "We're sorry what?" Brody and Sonic asked "Look. This is the worst possible time to get myself in trouble! Okay you two asked me to save your lives, I saved your lives. Now please go find your rings and your mushroom land. Hopefully I'm gonna wake up on a hospital bed and the doctor is gonna say this was a weird dream" Tom said and Sonic and Brody looked sad and hurt "okay" they said getting out the car "fine" they said "goodbye" Tom said but Sonic and Brody didn't move and were frowning.

"Why aren't you two leaving?" Tom asks "We don't know where San francisco is" Brody said "it's west" Tom said "West?" Sonic asks "West! Straight shot can't miss it" Tom said "Fine" Brody said "that's cool" Sonic said "we are totally fine saying goodbye now" Brody said and the two ran west and not even a second passed and the two came back wet with a fish on Sonic's head and another on Brody's and they had some seaweed on tjem suprising Tom.

"So as we crashed into the dark cold water of the pacific. We realized a few things" Brody said "A, we got no idea where are we going" Sonic said "B, salt water stinks" Brody said "C, WE shouldn't even be on this planet right now but we are why? Because you shot us!" Sonic said angry "I know" Tom said "You shot us!" Brody and Sonic said together angry "I heard the blue one the first time you don't have to pile it on good grief" Tom said "We are wet" Brody said "We are cold" Sonic said "There are fishes on our heads!" Brody said "And clearly we won't be able to do this on our own" Sonic said and Tom looks at them as the fishes slide off Sonic and Brody's head making them raise an eyebrow at Tom and Tom sighs "Okay get in the car you two" Tom said "really? You are gonna help us?" Brody said as the two shake off the water making themselves fluff up in Brody's case more than Sonic "I guess it is a little bit my fault that all this is happenong to you two" Tom said "No no not a little bit" Sonic said "Entirely. It is entirely your fault" Brody said "Okay it's entirely my fault are you two coming?" Tom asks "Yes" they said shaking again looking back to normal and Brody sits on the seat and Sonic seats on Brody's lap "Road trip! Wooho!" Sonic said looking around and the two smiled "What am I doing?" Tom asks driving again.

"Okay there's gonna rules in this trip. Number one do exactly as I say no matter what got it?" Tom asked "Got it Donut lord" Brody and Sonic said "Will you both stop with the donut lord!. I have a name, is Tom" Tom said "I'm Brody" Brody said "And I'm Sonic" Sonic said "Brody and Sonic. Brody and Sonic. You two brothers?" Tom asks "What?! No no! We are boyfriends!" The two said annoyed puffing their cheeks "Okay okay my bad. Boyfriends, you two certanly look like a pair. So you two have been spying on us all for years?" Tom asks "I mean we wouldn't call it spying" Sonic said "We were all hanging out only we weren't invited" Brody said "And no one knew we where there" Sonic said "I can't believe Crazy Carl was right all this time" Tom said suprised "Oh my god stop the car right now!" Sonic said sticking his head out the window "what? What?" Tom asks "The world's largest rubberband ball. We gotta see it" Sonic said "Come on Brody lets see it pleaseeeeeeee" Sonic said looking at Brody with puppy eyes his little tail wagging "No no no, I'm the one who says what we do and this is not some fun family road trip-" Tom said "I can't say no to you" Brody said but Tom didn't hear him "The goverment wants to dissect you two and arrest me this is serious" Tom said but Brody and Sonic weren't in the car anymore and then came back wearing hats and Brody had two big shirts inhis arms and Sonic had six rubberband balls in small size "meh you are right it was lame" Sonic said "Giftshop was cool though" Brody said "we got you a mouse pad" Sonic said "when are gonna get there?" Brody asks as he and Sonic take out rackets and start hitting the ball really fast and a lot "We'll get there when we get there" Tom said and Brody and Sonic kept playing with their rackets smiling and Tom sighs as he kept driving for the rest of the day.
