The elevator opened and Oscorp special security came into view, several of the men were heavily wounded and one was missing a leg. Adams Snider's green eyes fell on me and his short ginger hair shimmered with sweat, he ran over and said, "Black Cat than goodness your here, these monsters are tearing my men apart" My tone was soft as I said, "Thank you for your service now get all of your wounded men out of here and evacuate the area". He looked directly in my eyes and said, "Black Cat, it will be an honor to work beside you, the healthy members of my team are going to stay and help no matter what." I sighed and said, "Alright if you insist give me a rundown of what we are up against" He began to speak in a serious tone and said, "The four that escaped were Doctor Kurt Connors pet projects, animals fused with human DNA, the four that escaped are famous for being the most brutal of all of his creations, we have Scorpion,Rhino,Vulture and a giant spider." I shivered at the word spider, they were so creepy and disgusting no offense to Pete. My tone was firm as I said, "You will be in charge of capturing the spider, I will handle the other three." He nodded and said,"My scouts say Scorpion is in the insect section of the bio lab, Rhino is tearing up the power plant and Vulture is across the street in the clock tower. We have no flipping clue where the giant spider is." I nodded and said, "Right you guys go do your job, I'm heading to take care of an overgrown bug"

My foot falls echoed off the concrete floor as I got closer to the bio lab, my cell phone began to ring in my inner breast pocket, I pulled it out and answered it and almost immediately Harry's concerned tone rang out on the line and he said, "Are you alright Licia I just saw some of the special forces come out of the elevator and they looked like something chewed them up and spit them out." My tone was unnerved when I replied, "I'm fine but could you use my code name, if the board found out we weren't normal any more who knows what they would do." He chuckled and said, "Do you think I'm dumb enough to use your real name with them in the room?" Surprise filled my voice, "So the board meeting is over, awesome you can give me some back up" He then sighed and said, "Unfortunately it's just a break they are going to come back in a couple of minute, I just wanted to make sure you hadn't gotten eaten" Sarcasm dripped from my words as I said, "Thanks for the heartfelt concern black cat out" My heeled boots echoed off the metal floor grating, there were many species of insects and Arachnids scattered around in glass cases and jars filled with embalming fluid. The green fluorescent light danced across the room and cast it in a creepy light. My eyes landed on the cages lining the back wall and there were two cages that had been broken open. One belonged to Scorpion the other to the giant tarantula. The odd thing was the door to the Scorpion cage had been unlocked while the spider one was actually broken. It seems we have a traitor at Oscorp. Something started to drip on me as I walked forward it was wet and sticky, my hand came back covered in red, it was blood just lovely. It was dripping from the vent above my head and my cat senses were going crazy. Then with a loud clang a ceiling vent fell down and out tumbled the body of a Oscorp Special forces member. I checked his pulse and found nothing then my eyes fell on his stomach it was terrible, his instead tines were hanging out and it looked like acid had melted his stomach. There were also various pieces of flesh missing indicating the beast had a good meal. There was also a green liquid melting through the grating that confirmed my suspicion that this thing used acid to take down its prey. This thing had a huge advantage on me and the only thing protecting me was my cat sense, it operated like spider sense. My senses started going crazy and I rolled away just in time to avoid being squashed by a bipedal Scorpion with acid dripping from its tail. It was about six foot seven and its exoskeleton was a bright green color and its mandibles were dripping as well, it was quiet disgusting. The beast immediately made a lunge and tried to inject me with its deadly acidic cocktail but it was going to have to be quicker than that to hit me. My goal was to tranquilize it and then call the special forces to pick it up and relocate it. My tone was serious as I said, "Hey quit bugging out" My conscious then began to scold me for making a Pete pun. The next flurry of attacks came from its pincers but with my reflexes it was child's play to dodge them it also helped that the thing did not have human intelligence. I back flipped over it and brought the tranquilizer down in between its armored plating and it was out for a snooze. One down two to go.
