So I think I've finally gotten the hang of this random book thing.

Thoughts. Happenings. Interests. Lyrics. Just sharing. It's the ability to collect a bunch of things together that you think could interest others. It makes it easy to find. Makes it easy for those who might be interested to find it-even if they're offline for a day or an hour or an "indefinite" hiatus.

Speaking of which, my favorite band (The Gaslight Anthem) that's currently on an indefinite hiatus is celebrating a ten year anniversary of their second album (The '59 Sound, 2008) and are coming back together to perform a few shows this June! I'm stoked, but I have a feeling this doesn't mean the band is back together officially again. But we can only hope.

The frontman Brian Fallon actually has his second solo album coming out Feb 9, and I'm super excited for that as well. Four of the songs have already been released (yes, songwriters do teasers too) and they all sound amazing! If anyone enjoys an R&B rock infusion, you should check it out! The album is called Sleepwalkers and there are tours starting in mid-February!

I've been working a lot lately. It's a restaurant working on serving sandwiches originating from the other side of the nation. I have been scheduled 3-4 work days per week and the supervisors need "some help" and I end up with 5-6 days a week -&-

But that equals a nice fat paycheck for me so it all works out in the end 💲💰💲

To the more important stuff, I'm retiring from my role in the PokemonWritingLeague (to those who even knew I was there). I thought when I joined that I would be integrated into a small team and community and I'd enjoy myself.

That didn't go exactly as planned.

Basically, as a backup (just for the record, having backup members was MY IDEA and now most of the groups have them) admin, I accidentally gave away the account password to a fired member, and I thus was swiftly implemented on probation for all of January.

More basically, I f*cked up

Catch 22 though (for those who've read the book/understand the saying).

Here are some facts:

1.) I was not aware of the firing of said member. I was never DMed nor was it posted in any of the announcement books (GRA, kudos to this for actually informing the public).

2.) Without my knowledge or presence, a sort of "trial" (to put it loosely) was held. I took a guillotine without my knowledge. And yes, I had no say in it. I was just suddenly on probation (without argument from my end) for doing something accidentally.

Now I fully understand that this wanted to be prevented, but seriously? Doesn't the Bill of Rights have "right to a fair trial"? At least FREAKING INVITE THE GUILTY PARTY SO HE CAN PLEAD HIS CASE YKNOW? Where was my attorney? I'd like to raise an objection to the trial execution itself, not necessarily the eventual outcome. For all I know, despite me pleading my case I'd still be probated.

3.) When the new year came around, the password was changed (from the original one). I wasn't even DMed until I said "yo, the password doesn't work" to whoever answered me in the account.

4.) It's my fault for having any sort of expectations. I should have just kept them low. I'm obviously merely backup, and apparently that means I can be ostracized. That's life? Who FREAKING KNOWS ANYMORE.

So that's that story. 😂😂

But wait...that brings up a good question. What are you doing then, GT?

Well two things actually. One is working on those stories I wanna finish (that I have outlined. I just need to fill in the details. Seriously I hope they end up as amazing as I imagine them)

Two is...I'm thinking of starting a new group. It was just a joke between sploof and I on Sheare's wall, but I want it to be real. It's for the Pokémon Fandom...I'm not sure of all the details yet. But the basic structure is to reward lesser-known authors and to bring them forward into the community. (Something I didn't get essentially -&-)

I visualize it sort of like a "new authors" award before they get a Pulitzer (where the PWA is obviously the pinnacle of all that). We are the springboard to integration. That's what I'm hoping for.

I know it's difficult to start. It's difficult to fit in. Seriously, my book is two freaking years in the making. I become rarely active, and BOOM! Bennett appears.

Surprises are everywhere.

And even with all the devotion I've tapped into, I'm on the outskirts. I tried integrating, and it didn't work. And that's why I'm on my 724thword.

So what do you do? If you can't work with them, copy them. So I'm unofficially introducing the...

NAME TBD (yeah there's no name yet, still deciding on that)
