So a few people I've seen around Wattpad have described their writing endeavors & plans for 2018. I think that's rather cool to give a sneak preview of them (because let's face it, not everyone reads the bio of other wattpadders) so I decided "well, I think that'd be cool too."

And we're on our way. Shout out to those who've done this already.

Now you can all judge & critique me BEFORE anything is officially published.

1.) Signed, The Great Depression

•current synopsis:

Dear You,

It's been a while, hasn't it? Do you remember me? It's only been about five years, seven months, and twenty-eight days, give or take a few time zones.

My eyes, you won't recognize. Your ears only hear my crying and tears. My body has been shaking recently, trembling in all my fears. There's more to this than it appears.

As for me, once I could tell all that hurt apart from myself. But now all I can see is the need. The insatiable, endless need.

And there's nothing like another soul that's been chopped up the same.

Some people spend their lives chasing the laurels of their pride. You're a good example of that. You've got your dreams, your goals, your desires you're striving towards.

But that just never crossed my mind. You were always on my mind.

I just want to say something: not another soul could love you like my rotten bones do.

Maybe time will tell you how I got so much hell to sell you. Maybe your work will love you when I'm not there to hold you. Maybe your pride can be your companion? I don't know anymore.

I feel like I do understand it a little though. It scared you. It scared you to love, to need someone. So you killed it all instead.

I call it the Feel. You killed the Feel, fearing it like how I fear the rest of my life may never come.

In the end, I just hope you got all my letters.

Well that took a dark turn, didn't it?

This is by far a tragic love story. Now I know people are tired of the same old unrealistic tragic love stories that are barely realistic. I'm not really tired of them, but that's not the point.

Umm...I took a challenge from Kat (Sheare) that I would write something that wasn't the same old clichés of love. I can't guarantee it won't be. Nor can I guarantee that she'll like it. But I'll try my best.

She probably doesn't even remember the challenge. Not that it really matters, but hey. She's motivation, I can admit that.

Hopelessly Devoted to Misery

•current synopsis:

Tristan is a guy who has no patience for persistence. He has a depressing past that he carries with him wherever he goes. His outlook on life is anything but happy. His being itself is miserable.

Tristan only sees misery-past, present, or future.

Despite this, Cilan, Chili, and Cress, three brothers who run the Striaton City Pokémon Gym, Bar, and Restaurant, insist on making him turn over a new leaf. They are eager to get Tristan off his track of misery. And they have the leverage to do so.

In an effort to change their patron's outlook, Cilan, Chili, and Cress push Tristan into helping them help others. So Tristan is now in the middle of the problems of others while trying to solve his own.

Tristan is a guy who is hopelessly devoted to misery. Deep inside though, he doesn't want to be so devoted anymore.

This is my plan on a twist at solving problems. My protagonist is going to do his/her very best at solving problems while not being a problem solver.

How is that? Solving stuff in unorthodox ways.

There are obvious lines to good and evil, but I plan on somehow interestingly executing my protagonist as a part of that gr(a/e)y area in-between. The not necessarily good nor evil. Like Batman. He's not a superhero, he's a dark hero. He punches people and has superhuman strength and gadgets. I want a character like Batman. I declare my protagonist to be described as "Batman". Batman is now an adjective.

3.) The Second Coming of the Storm

•current synopsis:

It's been ten years since Jasper saved Trava from the brink of tyranny. After the defeat of Vairocana, the Rogue queen, and the rising of new leaders, prosperity filled the region with Jasper's journey of returning the Evolve Stone shards to the shrines of the respective eeveelution spirits.

The world of Trava was safe...for now.

A meteor shower rained down on Trava one day, releasing a power that the previous leaders, and even the first hero Iradeus or second hero Jasper, could never fathom of existing. It brought a new power that rivalled the Evolve Stone.

The introduction of this new power gave a golden opportunity for the comeback of the defacto Rogues Clan. A regionwide crisis had once again fell upon Trava.

Will the retired Jasper, the second hero and honestly tired of the whole charade, be the one who is supposed to save the world once more? Or will a new hero emerge and be the next savior of Trava?

Do I even have to explain myself? Whatever, it's the originally planned sequel to the book hardly anyone reads: The Journey of an Eon. Yes, this sequel was planned all along. No, I didn't plan on it ever becoming popular. I just want to finish the whole story of Trava. That's my motivation.

4.) Indigo Screams at the Skies Above

Details:

Was in the shower the other day and said this aloud. I thought it was a catchy title, and here we are, making it into my #4 slot. There's still brainstorming being done on the...yknow...plot of the whole thing. For all I know, it's the June one-shot for the PWL.

5.) We Think We Know You [Ran-Dumb Book]

•current synopsis:

"GT! How are you? I haven't seen you since like freshman year! And you were so skinny and weird back then! But now you're....anyway, what have been you up to?"

"I'm starting a random book."

"What do you mean you're starting a random book!?"

"Well @blue___22 tagged me so I felt it would be appropriate to-"

"WHAT? So ONE girl online tags you for fun ONCE and you start writing A GODDAMN BOOK?"

"That's one way to look at it, but-"

"Woah man, you starting one because you think you're better than the rest of us? You think you're better than us or something just because you're SMART? Wow CONGRATS man, you're smart, that's incredible! Wow!"

"I never said-"

"You want a trophy for being smart? You know what? We should just give trophies to smart things and every successful lab rat and Da Vinci will have a trophy! Does THAT make sense to you?"

"No I didn't say-"

"Why don't you just GO BACK to your default PATHETIC state where you feel you ABSOLUTELY need to be unique in some aspect and prove to yourself you're not just one of many of the small, white, indistinguishable, perfectly-cylindric checker pieces of Jesus & Satan's backgammon game like you usually do?"

I was kinda hoping the synopsis will explain everything the title doesn't. But here it goes.

It's a random book. It's gonna have random stuff in it. And that's about it.

I was hoping the title would sound familiar when it was italicized and bolded. I hope my hopes aren't for naught.

Tbh I'm super proud of that synopsis. I tried my best, and I think even Kat will try her best to not laugh during her critique (because we know she likes to correct synopses).

In Conclusion
