Benedict had tried to ring Melody several times, but with no luck. He grabbed his coat and slipped it on, Karen squeezing Benedict's arm.

"Benedict, let me come with you!" Benedict pulled off her arm, stopping her.

"No, no! Y-you stay here, I'll get on touch with Mels, you just wait for my call. Go home if I am not back soon." Karen nodded her head, Benedict pacing out of the door and he ran into the car. "Shit, shit!" He took out his phone and kept on dialling Melody's number, praying that she would answer. "Come on, come on... Please Mels pick up..."

What was even worse, despite how serious the situation looked, Melody's phone was on silent in her bag. And what was still bad? Alex was talking to her, so she didn't have the chance to even take a peek at it.

"Melody..."

"Listen, thanks... for tonight." Alex smirked, since he knew that his plan worked.

"No problem. I am allowed to love my soon-to-be wife?" Alex moved his hand over and held her hand, Melody slightly smiled. "Now, when we go home... what do you want to do?" Melody sighed.

"I dunno. Sleep?" Alex chuckled.

"Yes, I know that... but what else?" Melody slowly turned her head towards Alex, lifting an eyebrow.

"What does that mean?"

"Maybe... we could..." Melody slightly simpered.

"What?" Alex looked at her, lifting both eyebrows. "No, no... Not tonight... I can't-"

"Oh come on... Just me and you? We haven't done anything since we found out..." Alex begged even more. "Please." Melody breathed in and out deeply, closing her eyes for a moment, thinking.

"All right. Okay! But, don't go overboard... Or we'll be expecting this baby sooner than expected." Alex kissed her hand, grinning through the whole journey.

As soon as they had both got through the door, Melody had dumped her things onto the rug near her bed and sat down, exhausted. She buried her face into her hands, Alex peering his head into the room.

"Hey..." He strolled up to Melody, stroking her baby bump. "You think the baby knows anything?"

"I don't think so..." She sighed, turning her head away from Alex. He them pulled her head back to face him.

"Hey, look at me." Alex stroked her face. "What is it?" Melody got up, feeling the baby.

"Are you just doing this so that I..."

"That you what?" Melody sighed.

"So that I would forgive you for what you did to me?" Alex tensed his cheekbones, because what she said was correct. However, knowing Alex, he would twist this conversation somehow.

"Honey..."

"Please... I want to know. You're marrying me." Alex moved towards her, twisting Melody around.

"Listen... I love you. I-I'm sorry for what I did. I was angry, I wasn't thinking..." He cupped her face on his hands. "I love you and we are starting a family." He kissed her forehead, then he moved towards her lips.

Their lips touched and Alex pushed her onto the bed, taking off his shirt, which revealed his bare skin, rather than a vest. She moaned as he trailed kisses down her neck and he slowly slipped off her dress. It tightened around her arms, since it wouldn't fall below them. He then kissed her on the lips once more, Melody pushing him away for one moment. Alex panted heavily, frowning.

"What is it?" He said, his arms spread out.

"I-I... I need to breath." Alex smiled, waiting.

"Finished?" He said, moving closer to her.

"Yes. I am." They both giggled, their lips touching once more. Alex was on top of Melody, it was like she was trapped but she didn't give a crap. She loved it, but something made her stop again, so Alex she stopped him but detaching their lips from one another.

"What is it now?" Melody got up slowly, reaching for her black bag. She got out her phone, which was vibrating, an unfamiliar number ringing her. She frowmed, answering bed phone Alex still kissing her on the back of her neck.

"Hello... Ahh..." She moaned.

"Hello this is Amelia Fellows' daughter?"

"Yeees... It... is..." She panted between pauses.

"I am afraid we have some unfortunate news." Melody got up, Alex's lips finally off her neck. "Your mother was involved in a severe accident, her condition is critical. Now, what-"

"Wait... Where is my mother?"

"She's in hospital."

"Where?" Melody shouted.

"Calm down please, I understand what your going through. It's a few miles away. Now-" Melody cut the woman off and she looked flustered.

"What is it?" Melody's eyes began to fill up with tears.

"I-It's Mum... She is in hospital..."
