POV: Silver The Hedgehog

After we finished off Mephiles, the bright yellow aura that surrounded us faded away, our super powers calming down a bit. Though Mephiles is finally defeated, I still feel like something is wrong, and I know exactly why I have that feeling. Y/n...I miss her. I know she's right in front of me, but lifeless. My Soul...I want it to be complete. That part of me was missing, Y/n was always there for me, whether I bled or not, afraid or fearless, she was there for me. She always was there for me, and because of that, it made the both of us stronger. I taught her a few things, but I didn't know she would teach me a thing or two. I think it's about time...I share one last moment with her before the dispose of her motionless form...

We landed on the ground, Shadow and Sonic congratulating each other, I predicted that they were about to do so to me, but stopped when they saw that I was holding Y/n once again in my arms. Devastated as I was, I stared down at her beautiful, soft s/c skin, thought about her e/c eyes, how she liked to eat f/f and drink f/d. How she'd go to f/p. Everything about her ran through my head, and I couldn't hold back!

I kissed her passionate and gently, closing my eyes and cherishing the moment. I know it won't achieve anything from this, but this is the least I could do to make myself feel closer to her. Quite inadvertent, my super power seeped away like a river flowing an unknown direction, me returning to my normal form...

I parted away from her face and began to cry again. Elise placed her hand on my shoulder, I looked at her, us now eye to eye with each other "I know how it feels to lose someone. Don't worry, I know she-" The Princess attempted to speak, but was cut off by the sound of coughs. Shocked, we all brought our attention on Y/n, and surely, smiles appeared on our faces "Well, looks like Silver woke up sleeping Beauty~" Rouge joked, but I brushed it off with immediate neglect. Was she really alive!? There was only one way to find out..but to just wait and observe...

POV: Y/n

I woke up, coughing and gagging. I had just left my entire body because of the laser like beam that shot through my heart like lighting, except it was from a different angle, if you know what I mean. I grabbed onto the arms of a blurry figure, trying to make out who it was or why I'm alive. 'How did I come back? What happened?' I wondered. Stuck on concentrating on who I was in the arms of, I looked around, inspecting all the other figures around me...wait...Mephiles! Did we defeat him? Where am I!? "I love you too!" I heard a voice blurt out, sobbing and holding me close.

I recognize that voice!! "S-Silver..." I mumbled "I love you I love you I love you!" He repeated "I..wait..SILVER!!" I screamed "Y/N!!" He did the same. Finally, I was able to adjust my vision just enough to finally see his cute, innocent face. I never made such a big smile in my life, I felt like my cheeks were about to hurt. I hugged him tightly, and his grip was just as tight as mine. Confused, Sonic scratched his head "Wow! I never thought she'd come back...but how?" He questioned. Shadow huffed "Not much sense will be made, but just like how we transferred our super powers to one another from the Chaos Emeralds, Silver still had that living light in him, and because of his unstoppable temptation and affection he had, it somehow was given to Y/n, alike the psychokinesis he gave her as well. All seems impossible, but solve the rest yourself, Faker. I'm not your Teacher." Shadow explained. Still lost, Sonic looked like he was about to pass out from distress, he was probably thinking too hard. He shook his head and quickly forgot about it, running up to me and Silver, joining the hug. Soon came Tails, Then Shadow, then everyone. We all shared a group hug. I was more than happy to be back, and sure, being dead is not a good illustration of what their fate could've ended like if Mephiles brought out Iblis from another realm and fused with him into Solaris, but I never pictured that fate, because I knew they would be able to do it! They are always strong, and the way I figured out, was because they all seemed happier. Their smiles said it all, and they are healthy and fine, and that's all I need to know...is that my best friends fought through it all...

We hugged for a moment, but we separated when we saw a portal form right in front of us...oh...now I remember what me and Silver talked about on the rooftop of that high building..."It looks like.a.portal has formed.that leads.to the future." Omega stated, and with that, Silver stood up glanced at it "Welp..I guess this is goodbye, everyone." He said. I stood up immediately, grabbing his arm "Silver wait..." I said. He turned to face me, then patting my head as comfort ". . .I know you'll miss me, but I have to go back. It'a where I belong." He replied. He began to walk towards it, but I pulled him back "B-But what about all that we did? All the time we spent together!? All the battle we fought in side by side!? Was that all for nothing!?" I deliberately brought up. He sighed and used his psychokinesis to lift me up from the ground and toss me a distance from him "Y/n, it'll be okay, just-" "NO IT WON'T!!" My voice broke from heartbreak. He looked crushed at this point, staring at me in devastation. "I..I'll be alone, and cold, and sad, and..and..I'm just nothing without you!" I cried out, tears falling from my eyes. I couldn't stand being without him, I didn't want to go back to how things were before back in Wintertime Hill. The whole reason I came here was to bring myself closer to everyone, especially Silver...After all that we've done together, I actually felt like our connection was going somewhere, and as hard as I didn't want to believe the fact that he has to go back...or what it seems like, I can't bring my eyes to watch as he leaves me! I took so much energy and effort out of the time I consumed to myself just for the Naive hedgehog. The future will be just as lonely for him as it will be here for me...so why can't we just stay together...me and him...

Silver walked up to me "Please don't cry, N/n. As beautiful as you are, I can't bare to see you this way...mgghhh..." he groaned, pouting with his cheeks becoming a light shade of pink "H-How can I make you happy?" He asked, pulling me close to him and into a hug. I froze, unable to process his action "S-Stay...please..." I begged, slowly wrapping my arms around him. He rubbed my back and pulled me away, now smiling purely "If it makes you happy...then...I'll stay. For you especially, you matter so much to me, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to travel back if I left, I want the two of us to live together happily...so let's live the life we could ever dream of. Together as one...We Share An Absolution." He claimed, his happy attitude expressing massively. "YAAAAYY!!!" I squealed, jumping up and down with joy. I planted kisses all over the hedgehog's face, causing him to laugh and snort "Hehehehehe! Stop it! That tickles! Hehehehehe!" He struggled to say between his laughter. Everyone smiled and joked around, for the tense scene caused by me and Silver have loosened up.

And with that, everyone created a gathering for all of us to celebrate our victory for finally saving Soleanna for good! Elise had dancers on a boat, fireworks were being blown, flames were being lit...All of that amazes me, especially since I was with Silver through it all. Just a mere story brings it all from Adventure and Affection. It's just described with inner beauty and positive point of views. Nevertheless, having fun when moments were bad was almost our only strength. Me and Silver had a bit of a struggle confessing to each other at first, but we never backed down with 'Nevermind' or 'Forget It' but with endurance and patience. We fought, We Cried, We Loved, We Ventured. All was done from the power of teamwork! Sonic and the Others being with me through it all as my biggest supporters was all I needed, because the Truth is...Silver never needed to go back to the Future, because we were meant to create a better one, Together. And so we'll do so. The story ends greatly with the two of us sharing the same emotions no matter what...He Dreams...I'm his Absolution...so Together...

A/n: Hi guys! Thank you so much for reading this book! This was actually the first time in a while since I didn't rush on a book! The only books I didn't rush on was "Gingered Love, I'll be your Flips, IN THE NAME OF CANDY, and No Words to Love" which is crazy because I made those books last year! It's unbelievable how many chapters were made and how the ending went! I'll end the book right now, I'm so happy with how it came out and how much time Y/n got to spend with Silver!

I might make a Sonic x Reader and Shadow x Reader, but I'm not too sure just yet...I don't know, I'll probably make an announcement if I will, but for now, I'll stop. I don't feel my best at the moment and I feel a tad bit overwhelmed from too much writing and ideas.

I had so much fun! And I hope you all enjoyed the book As much as I did.
