You wake up with a hum, eyes easing open to his coat that lay over you and his chest. His chest rose slowly as you watched it for a moment. Your eyes trail up to his face finding him asleep.

        ‘He looks so alive right now…’ You think to yourself, carefully reaching your hand up to cup his cheek. He hums softly, brows twitching briefly but he doesn't seem to wake. You swallow, fingers tracing his face softly. Your fingertips near his lips and he hums again, eyes easing open and peering at you.

           “... Morning Sabo.” You greet with a soft smile. He meets your gaze and smiles softly in response for a moment before he mouths a good morning greeting to you. “I wish I could take you with me…” You breathe thoughtfully, caressing his cheek with your thumb softly. His smile falls the slightest, tilting his head against your hand. “You're so cute…”

            ‘No.’ He mouths with a smile trying to hide his face. You smile more and hug him tightly, nuzzling his shoulder. He pauses, slowly hugging you back. He rubs your back softly.

            ‘This sucks…’ You think before pulling away and sitting up. “I should head back now.” You murmur feeling his coat briefly before giving it back to him as he sits up. He looks at the coat for a moment before taking his wallet from the pocket before offering the coat to you again. “Hm? You want me to keep it?” You ask tilting your head. He gives a small nod and smile.  “Thanks… I'll take care of it.” You murmur, pulling it on and smiling to yourself. You meet his gaze as he smiles more at sight of you.

         “Does it suit me?” You ask, getting out of bed and turning about for him. He nods slightly, getting out of bed as well. You smile at eachother for a few moments before you step forward and kiss his chin, making him straighten in shock, eyes widening at you. “See you later.” You breathe before heading out of your room, collecting your hook swords before starting out.

           Outside Luffy and Ace were dunking their old clothes in water and hanging them up on a makeshift drying rack. You stop briefly,  going over to Ace’s side, making them pause and look up at you. “Do you guys want me to give you some soap to do that with?” You ask lightly. They blink and share a look before offering small smiles. “Okay. I'll give you a bottle when you come to eat later.” You pat Ace’s back before heading to work.

        “Dont tell me you slept there.” Law frowns heavily when you enter the kitchen from the undead entrance.

         “... I lost track of time.” You murmur rubbing your neck.

          “... You slept over at a zombie’s house...” Kid huffs raising his eyebrows. “I cant even begin to tell you all the reasons thats a bad idea.” That coming from Eustass Kid really made you stop in thought.

           “You're right… I shouldn't let my guard down around them… But I can't help it. I don't think about it when I'm with them…” You admit rubbing your cheek. Kid sighs scratching the back of his head.

           “You really think they're different huh?”

           “Yeah… I mean, they were trying to wash their clothes when I left.” You point out.

            “Weird, that's weird.” Kid straightens.

            “That's… Functional…” Law mutters putting a knuckle to his chin.

            “See?” You press.

            “Even so, they still have the hunger ___. And you're still human.” Law says pointedly.

            “Yeah well.. I'd rather be a cat.” You sigh, changing into your jumpsuit.

             “You know what… Me too.” Law agrees.

             “I'd rather be a dog, or a wolf.” Kid huffs.

             “You already are though.” You smirk, making Law snicker.

             “Wait, which one?” Kid asks.

             “I hear undead coming in Law.” You hum going to the grill.

             “Which one!?” Kid presses.

             “They're late.” You frown peering out into the dining area.

             “Yeah… Think they got caught up in another mob?” Kid asks. You pause before looking to Law.

              “Any events happening today?” You ask him.

              “Not that I know of.” He admits. You frown, feeling a bit of worry as you glance over at your hook swords. Maybe you should-

              “Oh. That explains why they're late.” Kid nudges you and you quickly look over as the trio enter looking clean and fresh-except Luffy, who was eating a deer leg. You blink and hurry out to meet them.

              “You're okay, I thought something happened, you're not normally this late.” You tell Sabo when you reach them. He blinks pulling a bouquet of wild flowers from behind his back and giving an apologetic smile. You blink, taking it and looking at the flowers curiously. You've never been a flower girl, but this gesture brought a smile to your face.

            Ace huffs, handing you a smaller bouquet. You smile sheepishly at them and Luffy pauses, offering you his deer leg, but Sabo touches his arm, shaking his head slightly. “Thanks Luffy, but I'm not really into raw meat.” You smile lightly. He blinks and nods giving a big smile before eating another piece. You smell the flowers briefly.

           “Thanks guys. This is sweet, I've never gotten one of these, and now I have two.” You look to Sabo. “You guys look good.” You add. He smiles shyly, rubbing his cheek. “I'm going to put these up, and I'll be right back.” You breathe before going back into the kitchen.

           “... Weird. That's weird.” Kid states again as you grin and put the flowers in a large cup, putting water in it.

           “Thought you didn't care for flowers.” Law folds his arms.

           “I still think it's sweet. They were late because they were gathering these.” You smile, touching a flower. He frowns watching you but doesn't say anything as you head back out to the three.

            “Dude, if you keep making that face she's going to see it.” Kid tells him.

            “I'm not making a face.” Law scoffs.

            “Yes you are, and it screams ‘I‘m jealous of a zombie!’!” Kid chuckles.

             “Shut up and get the buckets.” Law growls.

             You sit next to Sabo, looking at them thoughtfully. “Are you guys hungry?” You ask. They look at each other before pointing at the leg Luffy held. “You already ate then? Deer?” You raise an eyebrow. They give nods in response and you look to the kitchen as Law and Kid come out with the buckets. You wag your finger at them, making them stop and look at you questioning. You just shake your head in response. Law glowers at that and disappears back into the kitchen. Kid tilts his head before following after him.

             You look back to Sabo, finding him watching you in amusement with a small smile. “What?” You ask in confusion. He shakes his head in response still smiling.

           “So, what's up? You guys not eating today?” Kid asks, sitting across from them.

           “They said they had deer earlier.” You inform him.

           “Deer? How did you manage that?” The red head was increasingly confused. Ace holds up a rope in response. “You trapped them?”

            Sabo gives a nod, smiling lightly as Kid looks between them in shock. Luffy hums, offering him a bite.

            “No thanks.” Kid says leaning away from it slightly. “That's cool though… So are you guys… Reverting back?” Kid looks to you seeming unsure if he was using the right words.

             Sabo and the others exchange a look at that before he takes off his gloves to check his pulse.

             “It's pretty light, but it's beating. I don't know if they stop to begin with though.” You tell Sabo. He blinks looking at you in confusion. “I was listening to it.”

              “How?” Kid raises an eyebrow at you while Sabo pauses and looks away in embarrassment.

               “Don't worry about it.” You chuckle to Kid. He gives you a look at that but doesn't say anything.

               Sabo pulls out a notepad and pen, writing in it carefully with a focused expression. ‘Maybe we are? But we're still very hungry.’ He tries to write more but he grimaced as his hand stops obeying, making squiggly lines. He frowns but shows Kid what he managed to write.

               “You sure you don't want to eat?” Kid asks them frowning a bit.

               Sabo shakes his head before barely managing to write, ‘No human.’

               “Oh… You sure that's a good idea?” Kid tilts his head. Sabo shrugs and looks to you with a determined frown. You blink at him and offer a small smile.

                “Don't push yourself too much, we dont know how that'll affect you.” You murmur. He blinks and looks to his brothers as they peer at you briefly. They all share a look before before folding their arms in response. “So stubborn.” You chuckle.

                “Hey, it's time to start closing up.” Law calls, peering out from the kitchen. You blink and check the time before getting up.

               “Yeah it is…” You sigh with a frown, you had wanted to spend more time with them. Sabo peers at you before getting up and starting to help clean up.

              “Right.” Kid hums, starting to clean as well. After you're all done, you walk the trio to the doors.

              “Be careful on your way back… And try not be late tomorrow okay?” You frown slightly. Sabo seems to chuckle silently before taking your hand between his and giving a soft smile. You blink at him and smile in response. Luffy lets out a slight whine, grabbing your wrist and pointing at the door. “Not tonight guys.”

               Luffy pouts but nods, dropping his hand. With that they leave and you lock the doors. You stand there for a moment, looking at the door.

              “Come on. You can spend the night at my place.” Law puts an arm around you, leading you to the changing area.

              “Alright…” You murmur, going along with him. He frowns slightly as you pull away to get dressed.

              “Lets get sushi today, you must be hungry ___.” Kid says, making you pause. Your stomach growls lowly at that.

              “Huh… Did we eat yesterday?” You look at him.

             “I did when I got home. And I had breakfast.” He shrugs.

             “Me too… You need to take better care of yourself.” Law scolds.

              “I know.” You sigh and grab your hook swords. “Lets go.” You add before heading out with them.

              Smoker blinks as you walk up with Law and Kid. “Been a while you guys. What have you been up to?”

              “Trouble.” Kid admits.

              “We've had a weird week.” You nod.

              “___ has managed to befriend some zombies.” Law chimes in. Smoker looks between all three of you before letting out a big plume of smoke and rubbing his forehead.

              “From the beginning please.” He requests starting to make your food. So you take turns with the guys explaining things. After you were done he finished his cigars and handed out the plates of food. “What the hell is going on?”

             “No idea. A lot going on.” You frown, poking at your food. He pauses, watching you do so before looking at Kid questioning.

             “She wants to see the zombie.” Kid informs bluntly. Smoker exhaled a big cloud of smoke before shaking his head.

             “I'll never understand a woman's mind. Think theyre all crazy.” He grumbles. You blink at him a few times.

             “I AM CRAZY!” You gasp slamming your hands on the counter and standing making them pause in surprise. You dig in your pockets swiftly. “Money for food!” You slap the money onto the counter.

            “Wait… What are you doing?” Kid questions.

            “I have a crazy idea I have to act on! Don't worry! I'll see you guys tomorrow!” You add before running off.

            No matter how much you tried- you couldn't get Sabo off your mind. You didnt plan on staying out side of the city, but you did plan on spending the night with him again. You go over the wall, quickly starting for their place. Luckily you find the trio before you reach the tree line.

            Sabo stops, pausing before looking back and spotting you. He straightens as his brothers stop to look back as well. You reach them and stop, panting lightly. Sabo comes over touching your shoulder in concern. You grip his wrist softly and look at him.

             “Come home with me.” You request. He stops in surprise at that, blinking at you in shock. He points at himself then the city walls. “I can sneak you in.”  

             Ace and Luffy exchange a pout before smiling at Sabo, pushing him toward you lightly. Sabo looks back at them unsurely before looking at you and smiling lightly and giving a nod. You grin at that and start for the a Kitchen of the Dead with him, a slight bounce in your step.

              Getting him inside was easy, and since he looked so clean all you had to do was slip Law's sunglasses over his eyes before continuing for home. "I haven't been home in a while… Can't really remember if its a mess or not…" You comment. He tilts his head with a soft concerned frown. "I usually stay at someone's place since I don't like sleeping in an empty home." You admit rubbing your cheek.

             He takes your hand, touching his forehead to your temple. You blink and smile a bit, squeezing his hand. "Thanks for coming along Sabo. I don't know why but I couldn't get you off my mind today." You tell him, making him pause in surprise. "So I wanted to spend more time with you."

             He smiles shyly, looking away at that, tipping his hat down slight. Such a cute gesture for someone dressed like him. "You're so cute." You grin hugging him. He shakes his head, smiling a bit more and trying to hide his face. You giggle at him as he tries his hardest to hide his embarrassment.

              Before you know it, you're at your apartment door. You hesitate briefly before opening it and entering with him. Wasn't as messy as you had thought but not exactly clean and spotless like Law's. You relax a bit and smile as Sabo goes forward peering around carefully. You put up your swords and gunas you watch him thoughtfully.

              "Make yourself at home Sabo." You tell him. He peers back at you before slowly removing his coat and the sunglasses, hanging them up on the rack. You smile going over and taking off his hat for him placing it on the rack as well. He blinks at you and smiles softly.

              He points to himself before gesturing around. 'Can I tour?' Is what you interpret from it.

            "Yeah. Go ahead. I'm going to check the fridge." You nod thoughtfully. With that he starts to wander about. You go to the kitchen checking the fridge to find it empty pretty much. "Should have seen that coming…" You frown. A clicking sounds from the hallway and you pause. You peer down the hall seeing your telegraph machine lightly tapping out a message for you. 'Law? Been a while since he's used that…' You think going over and looking over the message.

            'You have him there don't you?' It read. Yep, definitely Law, he probably already knew the answer and disapproved- hince why he was using the machine.

             "No point in lying, he's going to be mad either way." You sigh as you send a confirmation message. A response immediately follows.

             'Do you need anything?'

             'Food but we can get that.'

             'Bad ideas. You're full of them.'

             'Full of optimism too! See you tomorrow.'

             You step back as he sends a goodnight message in response. "He's going to scold me tomorrow." You hum. You look over as Sabo tilts his head watching you curiously. "Like it? Law rigged this up once we got outta jail." You gesture to the machine.

             He comes over, looking at it curiously before giving you a smile and nodding. You smile at him for a moment getting lost in his blue eyes. He shifts becoming shy and looking away. You smile withholding a giggle.

             "Where am I?" You act lost looking around. He blinks and looks at you in confusion. "Guess I got lost in your eyes." You smirk at him. He pause looking at you before deadpanning and hiding his face. "What was that? Did you just think it was a bad joke?" You giggle. He nods slightly, "Hehe come on, we need to go shopping." You chuckle taking his hand and starting back for the main room. He points at himself seeming worried.

              "Don't worry. We'll pretend you're blind." You put the sunglasses back on him. "So hold onto me." You smirk. He makes a shy face looking down as he takes your hand again. You giggle and lead him back out at that. You didn't reach the store though, someone stepping in your path and making you pause.

              "Felt too risky to let you do as you please." Law frowns at you, holding out some bags as he glances at Sabo. "Behave yourself." His eyes narrow dangerously in warning at the zombie.

               "But I dont want to behave." You object making Law scowl at you.

               "You're right that is a warning I should be giving you since you're not in your right mind." He rumbles.

               "Suddenly I feel like a teenager being scolded by their dad." You murmur to Sabo. "Having you around is reversing my age! Lets go." You grin pulling him toward your apartment.

               "What…?" Law gaps. "Don't walk away when I'm scolding you!" He pauses before covering his face. "Damn…"

                You chuckle waving at Law before peering in the bags. Dinner for you and plenty of meat for Sabo. "Awesome…" You smile before looking at him. "Guess we'll be having dinner together. Do you need to eat meat raw?" You tilt your head. He mirrors the motion not seeming sure. "Okay, one cooked, one uncooked. We'll see how that goes." You decide with a nod.

               Once you get back you start on dinner, as you finish your half, the power goes off. "Damn… Looks like the building is having an outage…" You mutter. You could turn on your personal generator, but as you peer around and spot Sabo lit up by the moonlight you pause. 'Candles it is.' You decide swiftly moving to light them. With the scattered candlelight keeping the kitchen visible you set up the table with his help before putting the food down.

               You look to him as he shifts, watching you silently. "What? Come on lets eat." You smile when he ducks his head. He sits across from you and you both dig in. He was moving carefully, as if to stay neat while he ate. "Sabo…. I've watched you and your brother's fight over a person's arm before. You can't gross me out." You tell him earning his gaze. He hesitates, lowering his fork and knife briefly before shaking his head firmly, giving you a determined look.

               You smile more at that. It really suited him, "You must've been such a heartthrob security guard." You comment resting your cheek on your fist. He blinks and shifts, looking away shyly at that. 'So cute…' You focus on your food so he can do the same. After dinner you move to clean up but he stops you, taking your hand as his other hand comes over your waist. You pause and look at him in confusion.

              He smiles softly, swaying slightly and humming quietly. It sounded like a tune that you used to know. So he wanted to dance? You smile at that, moving closer to him and starting to slow dabce with him in the candle light. You smile a bit as a giggle escapes you. This was a bit romantic, and a bit cliche. His forehead touches yours and you meet his happy gaze as he smiles at you widely.

             "You're a bit of a sappy romantic aren't you?" You tease. A rumble sounds in his chest and you take it as chuckle since his smile grows wider, blue eyes looking away in slight embarrassment. "I swear if you don't stop being so damn cute…" You grumble. He rumbles again and this time you can make out the chuckle as he meets your gaze again. In this light, he didn't seem dead at all. If his movements weren't so sluggish you wouldn't even be able to tell.

              Your hand move to his cheek and the dance comes to a stop as you look into each other's eyes. Your fingers graze through his hair and he brings you even closer, nuzzling your shoulder. You hug him thoughtfully, rubbing his back.

              'If things keep going like this.. I see disaster in my future..'
