"Please Al, can you get off me..."

"Oh! Sorry!"

"Man! My head is pounding!"

As Al crawled off my body, I had a feeling that we weren't alone. I looked around the dusty basement we were in and found four police officers and all of our parents.
They came rushing to us with tears and smiles on their faces. It was pretty hectic after that.
The police investigated us. Asked us questions and stuff. Of course we lied. We can't just say.

"Yeah, me and my friends were fighting Abby's demonized brother using our awesome powers and weapons."

Yeah.......that's a nope. We'll be put into an asylum if we said that. So instead, we said that James took us to another country with the machine so we can explore. But while coming back, the portal was very unstable so James tried to kill us so he can go home. But he tripped when he tried to kill Abby and landed on a sharp piece of broken wood. It pierced him in the chest killing him.

And what do you know! The police believe us.
We got off the hook and now we're on our way home to our parents. During that whole time no one even noticed the engagement ring or the necklace. Im surprised actually, I would've thought that my parents would ask questions but they're too happy to notice.

Now that I think about it. It feels weird being away from my friends for this long in a peaceful situation. I feel so alone without Abby, Lizzy, Al, or Ivette by my side.

I sighed thinking about our chaotic adventure we just had. My eyes slowly moved to the ruby necklace in my hand. The ruby was now a dull red color instead of the bright red color it was before. I had a bad feeling that that we used the last of its magic. If that's true...... Then we won't be able to go back....

There's only one way to find out.

~One Week Later~

I sat in my back yard waiting for my friends.
It's been a week since we've come back home. It's been a week since we left the people we love. It has been a week since that battle ended.

I've been waiting to use the ruby necklace again. It's the only way we could go back to The Seven Deadly Sins. But that bad feeling in the pit of my stomach remained. I don't feel any magic energy coming from the necklace at all. That's defiantly a bad sign.

"Julie!"

My head shot up and I looked to my right. There stood my friends with bright shining smiles on their faces. I also felt a smile start to form on my lips.

They jogged over to me as I stood up. My hand gripped the necklace I had tightly, I was nervous....very nervous. We were going to test the necklace again today. To see if we can go back and to visit everyone else.

"Are you guys ready?"

"Yeah"

"Yep!"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

"Okay then, let's get going."

Now, to go back to Meliodas's world we had to say the name of the universe. For this situation, it was The Seven Deadly Sins sooooooo, let's give it a try.
I raised my hand up, the ruby necklace facing the woods. I could feel my arm shake out of nervousness. Something isn't right....

"The Seven Deadly Sins."

The the ruby glowed a pretty red color but then went out. My brows furrowed as I brought it to my face.

"....maybe I didn't say it loud enough..... The Seven Deadly Sins!" I yelled.

Again. The ruby glowed for only a few seconds before going out.

"No....no no no no! This can't be happening!"

I shook the ruby in my hand and held it up again. I could feel tears begin to form in my eyes at the thought of not going back.

"Come on! Work!!" I yelled.

That's when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I lowered my hand and looked at the person. It was Abby. She had, what looked like a sad smile on her face as she slowly took the necklace out of my hand. That's it, that's what got me to start crying.
The look Abby gave me told me that this was it. I wasn't going to see Meliodas again. But.....James said that it was an unlimited supply of magic in that necklace. I guess he was wrong.

"We can't......we can't see them again!!" I yelled and fell to my knees.

I covered my eyes with my hands trying to wipe the tears away.
That's when I felt three pairs of arms pull me into a group hug.

"We know Julie." Lizzy said.

"But, don't be sad....Meliodas wouldn't want you to cry." Al added.

"If he knew what was going on...he'd understand... And we'll all miss them.... They're part of our lives now, not just animations on TV..... I'm sure that Meliodas will find a way to get to you, like he always does." Abby finished.

I wiped the last of my tears away and looked down at my hand. The engagement ring shined from the suns rays giving it an almost angelic look.

"I'll wait then.....I'll wait forever if it takes that long!" I exclaimed.

"There's our Marshmallow." Al said.

"Mhm, I have a great idea! Let's go to my uncles pizzeria! We'll get pizza for free." Lizzy suggested.

"That sounds awesome..... Julie? Are you going to come with us?" Abby asked.

I looked up at Abby then back down at my ring.

"Yeah......it sounds like fun." I said

I might not be able to see Meliodas again. But the memories I had with him will stay with me forever. We might be the most unlikely couple, with him being a demon and me being an Angel. But, he's different from the others.
I had a feeling that I might see Meliodas again. Just not today. Until that day comes, I'll stay with my friends. We work better when we're together. That's what got us home in the first place.
So, when life becomes the unexpected. When you think that you can't do it, or you're going to hurt someone. Know that your friends care about you. They'll always be there for you because you're something special to each and every one of them. They won't let you go easily, so don't let them go, ever.
You and your friends might not have a crazy adventure like we had. But I'm sure that you'll have your own adventures, just not as dangerous. With that being said,

"Hey Captain, you okay? You seem out of it."

"I'm fine Ban, just thinking."

"About what?"

"About her, she's happy. I can feel it."

"Oookkaayyy, whatever you say."

Meliodas looked out the tavern window. He can see the grassy land, animals, and the smiling faces of his friends. He also smiled just from the vibe if things. He chuckled to himself when he say King puff out into his original form embarrassed again.

"Julianne.... I'll find a way to get back to you. Then, we can make memories of our own again."

Meliodas looked down at the picture Julianne took of the two together. She had her right arm wrapped around his neck pulling him in to take the picture. Her smile, her voice, just her in general was the thing now that he lives to see again.

"Captain! Are you coming out?! We're going into town!"

"Yep! I'll be there in a minute!"

He put Julianne's phone in his pocket before grabbing another ties. He tied it loosely around his neck before jogging out of the Boar Hat to meet the others.

"There you are! Where have you been!" Hawk yelled while jumping onto his shoulder.

"I've been in my room. Where else would I be?"

"Okay you got me there....now let's hurry up! I want to explore!"

Everyone laughed at Hawk as they started walking to town.
Meliodas will have to live his life and Julianne will have to live hers. But they'll see each other again. Somehow, someway.... They will.

This is it people! The end of this story! BUT I am making a sequel!! It's gonna be great!!!
I had so much fun writing this and I'm kinda sad it's over..... BUT I loved how much you guys liked this story. It makes me really happy knowing you guys liked it.
