~Julianne's POV~

I sat on the bed curling my fingers in the sheets. I wanted to ask Ivette about everything nicely but my anger was getting to me. Why didn't she tell me anything about her not being human. Or me not being human?!
My fists clenched the sheets tighter as I heard the door open and close quickly. I was pulled into a very tight hug. Curly brown locks fell on my face as this person hugged me.
It's probably Ivette. The person let me go and what do you know! It's Ivette.
She smiled at me and sat on the bed.

"I'm glad you're okay." She said.

"Yeah, sure...."

I look back down at the sheets not knowing Ivette was taken back by my attitude. I felt her shift on the bed before she grabbed my hand.

"Ban said you wanted to talk to me."

"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you. About you not being human!"

I looked back up at her with rage in my eyes. Her eyes widened a bit but then she stood up.

"What are you talking about? I'm human to the bone."

"No you're not! You're half angel and half demon! Don't lie to me!"

I then got out of the bed and stood in front of her. She narrowed her eyes at me and crossed her arms.

"How did you find out?"

I tapped my head with my finger.

"My brain let me see all of my memories! Even the ones I've forgotten!"

Ivette took a few steps back in shock.

"You tried to erase that memory! The most important memory of my childhood! The day that my human life ended! How could you do that?!" I yelled.

Ivettes fists ball up and she looked down in anger.

"How could I do that?! You don't know how much pain I've been through knowing you went through the same incident as me!? Knowing that my little cousin can't live her life as a normal girl anymore!? That hurt me!!" She yelled back

"No! It hurts me the most!! Now knowing that my cousin LIED to me this whole time!! How much pain do you think I'm going through!!!!"

Next thing I know, I've summoned my sword and swung it down on her. She blocked it with her double bladed scythe and pushed me back. I clenched my sword tighter as the door slammed open. Everyone came in wanting to know what was wrong.

"Hey what's going on?" King asked.

"I think they're fighting" I heard Diane say from outside. Wait. She's big again? Never mind I'll worry about it later.

Meliodas went to me and held my shoulders.

"You shouldn't be out of bed. You need your energy." He said.

I softly pushed him aside and walked towards Ivette a bit.

"No, not until SHE tells me why she's part demon and part angel! AND why I'm part angel too!"

"WHAT?!?!" everyone yelled.

Ban looked at Ivette in disbelief. Why didn't she say anything about it?!
Ivette looked at us before storming out of the room. I dropped my sword making it disappear and fell to my knees.

~Ivettes POV~

I marched out of the tavern passing Diane and walked into the woods. I just need to clear my head before I face Julianne again.

"Ivette!!"

I turn around and see Ban. I roll my eyes and continue walking.

"Leave me alone!!"

"No! Not until you tell me why you're part angel and demon! And why you never bothered to tell anyone!"

"It's none of your business and it wasn't important at the time!"

"No! Now it's my business and it's important!"

".....just leave me alone!"

I walked, no, more like ran to get away from Ban. I just wanted to be alone but he's ruining it.

"Stop!"

That's it!!
I took out my scythe and pointed it at Ban.

"I WILL cut you if you keep following me!"

He stopped in his tracks and opened his arms like he wants a hug.

"Fine. Do it. Attack me as many times as you want. I'll just heal over and over again."

My arm shook a little bit as I stood in place with my weapon at Bans chest. I slowly lowered my weapon and turned back around.

"Just leave me alone. I don't like hurting friends."

I then started to walk again. I heard the crunching of leaves before I was pulled into a hug. I could see the sleeves of Ban's red jacket as they wrapped around my body.
I started to move around in his grasp. I just want to be alone! Why can't he get that through his skull?!

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me why."

His grip tightened as I struggled. He really wanted to know why I didn't tell anyone about my secret. But I got one of my hands up and slapped Ban in the face. I heard a few cracks of bones so I turned my head. Ban's neck was twisted but then it was put back into place. He looked at me with unamused eyes and held me tighter.

"Are you done now?" He asked.

I made a 'tch' sound and looked away.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?!"

"I can't leave you alone because I care about you!!"

I looked at the ground shocked. I didn't know that Ban cares about me THIS much. I guess..... It's alright.... To tell him. I sighed before looking back at him again.

"Fine I'll tell you...just don't freak out or anything..."

"Okay, I won't, I swear." He said.

He let me go and I turned around.

"Okay, it started way back when I was younger. Before Julianne was born. Anyways it was a Sunday afternoon and I was home by myself since my parents were out having quality time together. They didn't really notice me so I kept to myself. But I was drawing a picture of a tiger for my free time when I heard a window smash open. It startled me so I stayed in my seat looking around.
That's when I was grabbed from behind and felt a needle press into my neck. I tried to scream but my attacker had their hand on my mouth to shut me up. He let me go once we both saw a figure walk into the room. I caught a glimpse of what he looked like. He had silver hair, white clothing and a sword on his side. He ran out probably from fear of the other person who entered. I thought I was safe thinking it was the police but I was wrong, so wrong. This other person also put a needle in my neck and left me on the ground. He had black hair, dark clothes and horns on his head. But I passed out soon after that. Next thing I know, I'm able to do things no human could. That incident changed my life, and I don't even know why it happened......"

I took in a deep breath and looked at Ban. He stared at me not knowing what to say. This pissed me off so I ran away from him and climbed a tree. So now it should be harder for him to find me. But, I'm hoping he doesn't find me at all. I sat on the branch looking at the trees as they swayed side to side. I closed my eyes enjoying my new found peace. But not a moment later my cheek was poked.
I opened my eyes and saw Ban sitting on the branch next to mine. He looked at me with a frown on his face.

"Why do you keep running away?" He asked.

"Why do you keep following?"

"I already told you. I do it because I care about you."

"............"

Now I was the one that didn't know what to say! I felt heat rise to my cheeks out of embarrassment and I looked away.

"Hey, look at me. Come one."

I felt Ban grasp my chin and he turned my head. My brown orbs met his red ones and we just stared at each other. What's wrong with me!? Ivette do something!!
But I couldn't, my body wouldn't move an inch.

Ban sighed.
"You know, I never thought I would care about a girl this much after what happened with...Elaine..."

Sadness takes over his eyes but quickly disappears. I look at him with the same expression as before.

"I care about you too. Including everyone else. That's why I didn't tell Julianne anything. It's because I cared about her."

"You did it do she can live like-"

"A normal girl..." I interrupted.

Ban sat next to me on the branch and looked down.

"I understand now. Why you did what you did. It's to keep a loved one safe."

"Yeah..."

I looked up at the trees and saw a flower floating down towards me. I caught it in my hand and looked at it.

it was a pretty pink rose that had a light hue at the tips but transitioned to a dark hue at the base. It was suddenly grabbed from my hand and placed in my hair. I looked at Ban but he just smiled at me.

"You look cute"

I looked away with another blush on my cheeks. He just called me cute with a hot ass smile on his face.

"Ya know, fuck this I'm doing it!" He yelled.

"Do wha-"

A soft pair of lips crashed onto my own and my eyes widened in shock. I looked at Ban but his eyes were closed.
I slowly melted into the kiss and clutched Bans jacket. But we had to part for air, stupid lungs. We stared at each other for what seemed like forever until Ban chuckled.

"You're too cute to ignore ya know."

"Oh shut up."

"So, are you ready to face your cousin now?"

Ban asked then jumped out of the tree. He landed on the ground gracefully and looked up at me.

"Yeah, I think so. Hey! Catch!"

I jumped out of the tree and started to fall. I landed in Ban's arms and he smiled at me once again.

"Okay then. Let's go back to the tavern and after you're done talking to Julianne I'll make you breakfast."

"That sounds great."

He hummed as a response and continued to carry me as we made our way back to the tavern.
