• Player's POV

[Current Time: 3:02AM]

After the whole fiasco of that.. Bro and Ninja break up thing.. I decided to get my mind off of it and talk to Veteran instead. Sometimes, he makes me forget problems I even had.. I wonder how he even does that but.. I'm happy about that. He never fails to make me happy, I love that about him. I thought. Wait.. Love?.. I thought again.

"Oh! I hear it cookin', See ya Player!" Veteran says. "See you.." I said. He stands up from his sitting position and goes to the kitchen. Once he left I sighed. Love?.. that's impossible. I thought.

Once those thoughts kept appearing I just made a conclusion that I'm just having platonic feelings for him, that's it.

I did not expect to think those so suddenly so it kinda confused me?.. but alright.

Veteran came back with two bowls of.. what's it called again? Ramen? Yeah, Ramen.

He places both of them at the table and sits next to me. Instead of a spoon and fork that was given to me I was given chopsticks? "Soo, do you know how to use chopsticks?" Veteran asks. I didn't know how to use chopsticks.

"Uhh.. no?.." I said. "Alright.. guess I gotta teach ya!" Veteran says. As I said before, I don't like being a bother to someone, it's.. embarrassing and makes me feel extremely shy.. "No! I-I'll just.. get the spoon and forks from the kitchen.." I said.

Veteran didn't seem to like that..

"Are you sure?" Veteran asks. "Yes.. I'm sure.." I said while getting ready to stand up. Veteran sighs and grabs my hand. "Is.. something wrong?" Veteran asks. I kinda.. blushed from that? Just a bit.. "U-UH- no?" I said, although it didn't sound like I was.. it sounded more of a lie.

"I may be an idiot but not that idiotic. I can tell somethin's up, you can tell me." Veteran says. You're.. not an idiot.. maybe loveable but- wait what.. I thought. "It's just- I- I'll.." I stuttered out, It was hard to explain. Veteran once again sighs. "It's alright, if you're uncomfortable it's fine.. I get it." Veteran says.

I completely forgot to even get the cutlery's I need to eat the ramen.

Veteran let go of my hand and started eating his using his chopsticks and I? I went to the kitchen to get my spoon and fork/cutlery.

I headed there, I still had those thoughts in my head.. it's annoying.

I quickly went to the dishwasher and grabbed the cutlery's as fast as I can so I can stop thinking about- whatever the hell I'm thinking about anymore..

I headed back to the Cafeteria and sat next to Veteran. We kinda had an awkward silent for a few minutes.. As those minutes went by I haven't planned on eating the ramen.. I completely forgot it's existence until Veteran reminded me about it.

"So.. are you gonna try it now or?.." Veteran asks. That got me out of thought and I quickly sat up straight. "O-oh! Yeah sorry.." I said. "Mhm, go try it already! I made one for you for a reason y'know!" Veteran says. "Yeah yeah hold on!" I said.

I grabbed my spoon and fork and started eating it.

As I was eating I was debating to myself whether I liked it or not..

I Liked It.

"Sooo?" Veteran asks. "It's.. delicious!" I said. "Told ya you'd like it! Until now I'm so confused how you've never ate ramen before." Veteran says.

Well.. the truth is.. I'm not the type who likes Japanese food that much, it's..not exactly my type.. Although, it seems like Veteran turned the tables around.. cause.. I liked this.

"I'm just- not really the type to eat Japanese food I guess?" I said. "Duuude.... THAT'S MESSED UP.." Veteran exaggerates. "I- Am I really suppose to like it?" I asked. Veteran gave me that "are you serious?" look. "Obviously!" Veteran says.

"JK! Just kiddin', Obviously you'd have different opinions." Veteran says. "Mhm!" I mumbled.

As we were talking we see a.. despairingly walking Bro going to the kitchen. 

I was worried for him.. I remember meeting him back at the entrance, he really brags about Ninja a lot too.. he says Ninja was like.. the best thing that happened to him? Or that he never thought to love someone?.. Yeah..

"Man, he looks depressed.." Veteran says. "I mean, he just broke up with Ninja.. kinda obvious why." I said.

Bro sits down at a different table far from me and Veteran and just- stares at the table? He probably has a lot on his mind right now..

Me and Veteran just.. decided to ignore him and keep talking to each other.. we didn't wanna bother him either since- he's not really the type whom likes to be portrayed as a "weakling" or "vulnerable".. I don't think anyone would wanna be portrayed or be known as that either.

Me and Veteran decided once we we're done with eating the ramen he made we would both get ready for the day.. the day we start and do our tasks in the Skeld.

[Current Time: 4:03AM]

• Bro's POV

Who could it be?.. Who could have done it to him?.. How do I find that out?.. These thoughts kept swirling my head.

You see.. Someone stole.. Ninja's.. headband..Yeah.. I don't know how nor I don't know who could have done it.

Until now.. Ninja thinks it's me, I can't blame him tho since I'm the only one who has a full access to his room but.. as his now 'ex' boyfriend.. it just hurts..

It was 2 in the morning when it all started..

*+ Flashbacks +*

"So, why did you call me here Ninja?" I asked my.. boyfriend. Ninja looks at me sternly. "Bro.. quit the act." Ninja says. That got me confused? What does he mean by 'act'? "What do you mean?.." I asked. Ninja started looking at me, angrily. "BRO YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" Ninja exclaims. I jumped a little bit from his sudden accusation.

"NINJA CALM DOWN! WHAT DO YOU EVEN MEAN??" I asked once again. I was getting confused.. I don't even know why he called me here at like.. what? 2AM?

"Bro.. my headband is missing.." Ninja says. That shocked me completely. Ninja once said to me that his headband was given to him by someone special, someone very close to him, his mother. I remember he told me his mother died from.. a certain incident he doesn't wanna name.

"N-Ninja.. A-are you accusing me of.. stealing that?.." I asked. Ninja nods, slowly. "I-it's just- you- you know.." Ninja says. I was angry, why would he think I would steal anything from him? We're literally together!

I snapped a little bit on him and yelled.. I was furious on why he would think I would steal something very important from him..

"NINJA! IT WASN'T- IT WASN'T ME I SWEAR! I WOULD NEVER!" I yelled out. Ninja looks down at the ground. "Bro.. I'm sorry.. I really can't believe you right now.." Ninja says, unbelievably thinking it was me. "You know how much that meant to me." Ninja says.

Obviously I knew how much of an important item that headband was for him..

"I SWEAR NINJA.. I CAN'T DO THAT.. ESPECIALLY TO YOU!.." I exclaim. "Bro, you're the only one I let in my room, it's impossible for it to be someone else." Ninja says. I was completely fazed I silently looked down at the ground. "I think.. you already know what this means.." Ninja says, walking away from me..

"You can't be serious.." I said. I'm sorry.." Ninja says.

Ninja walks away and goes back to his dorm.. leaving me all alone.

I looked at the ground.. I was.. completely not prepared for this..

Wh-Who could have done it?...

I was on this point in tears, I loved Ninja.. I didn't want him to leave me of course..

I knew Player and Veteran was present.. I think they knew what happened and just.. kept silent about it.

I knew someone could have stolen it, someone probably tried framing me..

• Player's POV

[Current Time: 5:16AM]

Me and Veteran were finishd eating the ramen he made, it was so delicious I almost felt like wanting to get another bowl if I'm honest but.. I don't wanna make him tried again from cooking another bowl of ramen for me.

We were still in the Cafeteria talking as Bro.. cries. Look, we didn't wanna bother him nor cause any more troubles as it is so.. we can't really do anything nor comfort him..

Our conversation was more about games we liked playing, at some point I asked him if he plays Friday Night Funkin' since.. I do.

"As I said, Friday Night Funkin'? Not my type." Veteran says. "Awww, it's really funn! You should try it!" I said, convincing Veteran to try playing the new game I play recently, Friday Night Funkin'. "Ehhh.. I'm not sure.." Veteran says.

"I'm not really good with rhythm games if you ask me.." Veteran says. That made me chuckle a bit as I realized that the minigame in Fall guys called 'Perfect Match' was also his hated minigame there. "Heh, is that why you hate 'Perfect Match'? Cause it's quizzical?" I asked.

Veteran dramatically gasps. "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK OF THE CURSED MINIGAME RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!" Veteran jokingly exclaims. That made me laugh. "Haha, It's not that bad!" I said. Veteran disagrees.

"Nah dude, I'm over it." Veteran says.

At some point I heard the metal doors of the Cafeteria getting unlocked, I assumed it must be Captain since he usually wakes up around 5AM or somethin' close to that these days..

The doors open and.. yep, Captain.

"Morni- Uhh.. Bro?" Captain says. "Go away." Bro says. Captain didn't seem to like the fact Bro was crying.. "Uhh.. okay?.." Captain says.

Captain decides to lay off Bro and go to me instead. "Hey Bestie!" Captain greets. Wait- since when?- whatever. I thought. "Hey Captain!" I greet him back. Veteran didn't seem to like Captain being here tho.. "Mhm Hey.." Veteran greets.

"So uhh.. does any of you know why Bro is in sad town?" Captain asks. "Well.. a certain.. argument happened between them and Bro that made them break up.." I said. Captain was completely baffled by this news. "Wait really?? Oh no.." Captain says.

"Yeah.. best if we lay of off him for a while." Veteran says. "Now can you lay off of us?-" Veteran says but then covers his mouth after realizing what he said. Captain looked offended at first then.. smirks? okay that's weird. "Oh? Oh.. I get it.. Alright.. but before I do go I just wanna say you two should get ready maybe? Like.. wear your suits and all?.." Captain says.

"Yes, we know Captain, geez we're not that dumb." Veteran says, Veteran realizes again how mean that was and apologizes afterwards. "WAIT- SORRY.. SOMETHINGS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH ME TODAY.." Veteran says. "Nahh, you're fine Veteran! Anyways.. just- get ready for breakfast." Captain says.

"Uhh.. we ate ramen." I said. Captain looked astonished. "WHAT?! HEY! WHY DIDN'T YOU PEOPLE WAKE ME UP?!" Captain says, pissed. "Well, Veteran made it." I said. "Not like I'd make you any.." Veteran says, he realizes once again of how rude he was and apologizes.

"I swear something's so wrong with me today, probably cause I woke up at 2AM.." Veteran says. "Your fault for stalking me." I said. "Hey! I'm not stalking you! I was just.. worried that's all.." Veteran says. That- That made me blush a bit.. He really cares for me..huh.. I thought.

"Alright you lovebirds I gotta get myself ready, as well as making the morning announcement with that, see ya!" Captain says while walking away. Veteran stood up from his seat. "Hey! We're not love birds! I'm an eagle!" Veteran says. I was blushing a lot more than I should have and at the same time laughing because of Veteran's last statement.

Captain laughs from his last statement as well. "Hah- Mhm sure.. have fun!" Captain says. Veteran sits back down. "Pfft! Veteran what was that?" I asked. "He called me a 'lovebird'! I'm an eagle!" Veteran says. "Yep, sure you are." I said.

At some point we saw some of us waking up like Mr. Egg and.. Ninja.. he does not look so good..

"Good morning everyone!" Mr. Egg greets. "Ohayōgozaimasu.." Ninja greets as well. "Wait what-" Veteran was about to ask what Ninja said until I spoke. "He means "goodmorning" Veteran." I said.

"Ohhh.. wait, you know Japanese??" Veteran asks. "No, I just hear it a lot from my sister Dum these days, she likes replacing basic words in english like Goodmorning and replace it with Japanese at times." I said.

"Make sense." Veteran says. As soon as Bro saw Ninja he immediately stood up and left the Cafeteria causing Ninja to look more gloomy as he was before.

"Alright everyone, Goodmorning from Captain! Now as the per usual please wear your suits and get ready to eat breakfast! Unless- you randomly ate ramen at 2AM like psychos." Captain announces.

I laughed at Captain's last statement and so did Veteran.

"Alright, looks like I gotta get myself ready, see ya Player!" Veteran says while standing up. "Mhm! See ya Veteran!" I said while also standing up. We both left the Cafeteria and headed to our own rooms.

I unlocked my dorm and went to the bathroom to take a shower and do, y'know.. the usual thing any human would do in the morning.

*+ 20 minutes later..*+

After 20 minutes of taking a shower in the bathroom I went to my closet and took my red suit. Now as almost anyone who has a bunch of red stuff, you can guess I really like that color.

*+ 5 more extra minutes..*+

I was finally done putting on my suit, sometimes it was a bit hard to wear for some reason but eh, nothing I can't handle. I took my tablet which was charging for the whole night in my nightstand, geez I forgot it was even charging.. And last but not least.. my beanie!

I wear it almost all the time because.. it was my father's gift when I was 7, it was precious to me. I would even sleep and hug it as if it was my plush toy.

I wore my beanie and started heading out.

I unlocked my door and went to the Cafeteria. Since.. I wasn't hungry after eating the ramen I decided to skip breakfast and get my tasks done already.

But.. in order to skip breakfast I have to tell Captain first since.. he might get worried about me skipping it and all.. he was worried when Veteran did so-

I walked towards Captain, who was talking to Stoner, not surprising since he talks to him for like what? Everyday now? "Hey uhh Captain?.." I said. Captain notices me talking to him and says hi back. "Hey Player!" Captain says. "So uhh.. is it alright if I skip breakfast? I kinda ate.. y'know.. the ramen?" I said.

Captain thinks at first then nods in agreement. "Sure! you're probably full from that." Captain says. "Thanks! I'll uhh.. do my tasks early then?" I asked. "Yeah go ahead! I'm pretty sure Veteran already gave them to everyone correct?" Captain asks. From what I remember.. he did. "Yep!" I said.

"Alright, have fun!" Captain says. I smile back at his response and left the Cafeteria.

As I leave I see Veteran leaving his own room. 

I wanted to ask him earlier if he wanted to do tasks together but never could have fitted it in the conversation, maybe now I can ask him?

I walk towards him. "Hey Veteran! wanna do tasks together?" I asked. "Oh, Hey Player! And obvi." Veteran says. Although I knew he was probably full from the ramen we just ate an hour ago.. I still wanted to be mindful and ask him if he was still hungry and wanted to eat breakfast.

"Nah, I'm too full for my own good." Veteran says. "Alright then, let's go!" I said.
