• Player's POV

Once we were done getting ready it was time to go.. to the Skeld..

Me and Dum took our luggage and stored it in the trunk and said goodbye to our parents.

"Oh i'm so proud for you both! Have fun!" My mom says optimistically. "Yep! goodluck!" My dad says also optimistically. Me and Dum says our goodbyes and walks out the door and went to our car. We don't own it, it's our dad's car. Since I had a drivers license and old enough to drive I had to drive us to the Skeld myself. (Fun fact: In this, Player is 19 and Dum is 18.)

From our distance to the Skeld it would take us around 2 to 3 hours to get there. This will be a long ride..I thought. As I drove the car Dum was playing around with her phone or talking to me about how excited she was on going to the Skeld. I, on the other hand.. was not as excited as her. I was nervous, even if she assures me that i'll be fine that is still not enough..

"Player, if you're still nervous we can always go back.." Dum says. I didn't wanna go back if I have to be honest.. I did wanna go on the mission and plus we were an hour away from our house so either way I wouldn't wanna have the hassle to go back again. "N-no! I can do this.." I said. "See? That's the spirit! Don't worry brother, you'll be fine." Dum says. I got a little more confident from what she said.

Im really happy I have a sister like Dum to be honest.. she always tries to help me even if she's not as capable to do so, she tries and never gives up. She tells me to never give up which may sound clićhe in sentence but.. it can deeply affect someone if really put to heart.

2 hours later..*+

It's been 2 hours so far.. Dum fell asleep due to us waking up early to go to the Skeld. (Fun fact: They woke up at 6AM) As I drive I usually like listening to music so I took my phone and shuffled a random playlist on my spotify. I didn't notice what song came up until.. it started playing.

No matter what I do..
I can't love because of you, you f***** me up and put me out of tune..
I do my best to fake that im good but I forget my place to soon..

I paused the song.

I started getting a bit teary to the point I had to stop driving to get some tissues to wipe my tears away. The song.. it reminded me of.. her..

Noob.

Her real name is actually Madison but.. I prefer what Dum calls her better..

The song reminded me a lot about our relationship back then.. She was.. toxic and just.. a manipulative person. She manipulated me into hating my friends.. manipulated me into even hating my own sister! Crazy right? I guess I was really gullible back then but.. now I know how to deal with people like her.. 

Our relationship was alright back then until she started to always bring me down.. calling me names like Loser, wimp, stupid, good for nothing and so forth. I didn't know why she did that but.. luckily I had the confidence to break up with her after that. All those insults.. That itself really blew my self esteem back then.. That's probably a partial reason why i'm not that social with other people anymore.

I didn't notice at first but I was almost there to the Skeld so I started driving again.. I also noticed Dum woke up a little bit.. guess she heard me cry?.. I don't know..

It took at least 30 more minutes to get there, While I was driving Dum was awake and was asking if I was alright cause she heard me crying a little bit. I said I was alright and that it was nothing to worry about.

We eventually made it.. after 2 hours and 30 minutes. Me and Dum took our luggage out of the trunk and started heading our way to the Skeld.

It took around 20 minutes to get through because there needed to be a lot of confirmations and a lot of checking on us to see if we're really members of the mission which we were.

After all that double checking and extra confirmations we were finally able to get in the Skeld. The Skeld was big, like, really big. It felt like a giant mansion that is also a spaceship? Either way, it was big. I look at Dum and she looked like she was about to go insane. Her eyes were sparkling and she had one of the biggest smiles I've seen her done in a while, I was happy for her.

"AAAAAA! IM SO EXCITED! EEEK!" Dum said while shaking me. "I- ALRIGHT CALM DOWN DUM!" I say while being shaken by her. She stopped shaking me and apologized. "Hehe, sorry! Im just excited.. that's all.." Dum says. I was kinda excited but still nervous either way but.. I can do this.

We made our way to the giant door, luggage in hand and used our keycard to open it. Once it was unlocked a cold breeze kicked in a little bit and me and Dum were greeted by some of the other crewmates in the Skeld. Dum and I was greeted by Gnome and Engineer apparently. "Hey Dum! Hey Player!" Gnome says. "AA- Hey girl!" Dum greets. "Salutations." Engineer says. "U-uh.. Please to meet you too?" I say. It got a little awkward at first but I got the hang of it.

I eventually met the others like Captain, Stoner, Bro, Ninja, TheGentleMan and Mr. Cheese. There were a few people I haven't met yet apparently. After meeting some of the people in the Skeld I decided to look around.

I memorized half of the mappings, the dorm rooms and the task grounds. I also organized my room a little bit which took 3 hours but hey, at least it's all clean.

I eventually got tired and went to the Cafeteria to eat. As I walk there I saw Captain talking to someone in yellow. He was wearing a gold crown, had blonde hair and forest green eyes. I walk up to them and asked Captain who he was since I didn't see him in the entrance like last time.

"This is Veteran, He's one of the crewmates will be with as well! He was just asking me on when we get our tasks." Captain says. Come to think about it.. when do we start getting our tasks? I should ask. "Wait.. when do we get our tasks?" I ask Captain. "Well.. we will eventually get it once NASA gives more information about it to me." Captain says.

"They should be giving you more info from the start, it will be a hassle if they give it to you after like.. what? 2 days?" Veteran argues. "Not gonna lie but I kinda agree, Captain." I say, agreeing with Veteran. "Well.. they have been busy for a while.. they have another set of crewmates on a different ship called the airship as well.. I think they're giving their tasks first before ours." Captain says.

"Ugh, whatever." Veteran says, walking out of the conversation. Me and Captain stayed silent until he said he needed to go to O2 to check the oxygen levels. "Uh, well.. See ya Player!" Captain says. "Yeah.. see you Cap.." I say. I started heading to Cafeteria and went ahead to the Kitchen to see.. drama?..

"Ugh, this is just stupid, Mr. Cheese." Mr. Egg says. "It's not stupid! Can't you just get away from him? what are you? a lovesick puppy?" Mr. Cheese says. "It's not my fault he keeps going to me! I don't even like him anymore! So can you please stop it?" Mr. Egg says. "How am I suppose to stop when you keep stealing people away from me?!" Mr. Cheese says. "IM NOT STEALING ANYBODY! IT'S THEGENTLEMAN WHOM YOU WANNA SPEAK ABOUT THIS!" Mr. Egg yells at Mr. Cheese while getting a bit teary eyed.

I decided to probably walk out of the Kitchen and just.. starve- atleast for now.. I headed to my room and decided to play games on my nintendo switch.

2 hours later..*+

I still didn't eat, I kinda forgot I was hungry after what I saw.. I got very dizzy and my head started hurting because of it so I decided to go to the kitchen again.. as I was heading there I guess I got a migraine or something cause my vision started to get a little.. blurry?.. I eventually stopped walking and tripped. "Are you okay?" Someone said.

I shot up my head to see Veteran, "Dude, you don't look so good.." Veteran says, worried. I grabbed his hand for support and tried standing up. "U-uh.. yeah.. I haven't ate for a while now and I kinda forgot to eat? so I uhm.. Im kinda dizzy right now.." I say to him.

His face looked even more worried when I said that and decided to probably help me get to the Kitchen to get some food. He decided to carry me a little, my arms were around his neck and I had to hold his hand for extra support. "Im guessing you didn't get to eat any meal because you saw the fight?" Veteran asks. "Uhh.. yeah.." I answered back.

"Those two really need some way to at least get along in this ship.. I mean.. we will stay here for a lot of years after all, I don't wanna wake up and see an argument everyday, y'know?" Veteran says. I laughed a bit. "Haha, yeah.. even I wouldn't want that." I say, agreeing with him.

We started talking about random stuff, to be honest I was kinda surprised.. I wasn't nervous or whatever.. it felt like talking to someone you knew for years..

We eventually made it to the Cafeteria and he sat me down in the chairs. We were talking once again, I kinda forgot I needed to eat until he brought it back up. "Do you want me to get ya food or?.. are you alright to get it yourself?" Veteran asks. I didn't want him to struggle any longer than he already did trying to carry me so I said I'll be fine. "Alright then.. see ya!" Veteran says while walking out of the door, waving. "Yeah.. see you!" I say to him back while waving as well.

I did manage to get some food from the kitchen, I also did see Mr. Cheese and Mr. Egg talking normally now.. I wonder what happened..

This took a while since I didn't have much ideas- if ever you have some you can always tell me, doesn't always mean i'll agree but i'd like to know what you guys have in mind for the story! Anyway.. if you have any critism or advice you can always comment it here.
