~Vineet~

I was elated to know that Ruhana has given birth to a baby girl. I wanted to see both my girls now. Sneha asked me to fulfill some formalities. After doing the formalities, Sneha told me that Ruhana is shifted into the normal ward,and that I can take both Ruhana and my daughter home. I thanked her and entered the ward.

A smile crept on my lips seeing the scenario in front of me. Ruhana was sitting on the bed cradling the baby in her arms.

She was talking with the baby, it seemed.

"Ab hum dono mil ke papa ka dhyan rakhenge." she said tapping the cheeks.

The little baby kept her hands on her cheek. Ruhana kissed her head lovingly. I moved towards them.

" Abhi se secrets shuru??" I asked eyeing Ruhana.

She smiled.

"ofcourse. Ab meri beti aayi hai, toh usse hi baat karungi na." she said.

"Chalo bahut baat ho gayi, ab mujhe meri princess se baat karne do."  I said and took my daughter in my arms.

The girl was looking at me with her big almond eyes. I was adoring her, when Ruhana looked at her.

"Vineet, we will call her Manvi." she said, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Pyara naam hai. I will call her Mannu." I said.

I could hear her meek giggles. I kissed her head, and since it was time for her feed, I left her with Ruhana, and went to get the discharge papers ready.

After an hour, I went back to check on Ruhana and Manvi. Little Manvi was asleep beside Ruhana while she was adoring the little girl. Yeah, it was a happiness we got after a long time. I took a stool and sat beside the bed, and caressed Manvi's head. I looked at Ruhana who smiled at me.

" thank you, Ruhana. I owe everything to you. Main, meri zindagi, aur ab Manvi, I owe it to you. Agar tum na hoti toh mujhe ye khushi bhi nahi milti." I said.

"Ab zindagi haseen hogi. Ab agar hum kahin ruk jayenge, thokar khayenge, toh hamari beti hogi na, hume sambhalne ke liye." she said.

I nodded affirmatively, life will be good now. Meanwhile, Sneha entered the ward and after a brief checkup, she told me that I can take my daughter and my wife home. Ruhana was elated. I asked her to change and taking all the things, we were all set to go home.

~Ruhana~

I was talking to Sneha, when I suddenly felt pain in my stomach, maybe the beginning of labour. I told Sneha and she said that we should rush towards the hospital. I asked her to tell Vineet, she said she will, and then the pain increased. I wasn't able to say or do anything.

Few hours later, I was told that I have given birth to a baby girl. When I gained the consciousness, the nurse gave the child in my arms. The little girl is beautiful and pretty, just like I thought. I kissed her head. The little girl slowly opened her eyes. I cradled her closer to my heart. It seemed like she was understanding what all I was saying. I told her that she needs to take care of her father and she chuckled. Meanwhile, Vineet entered the room. I saw his gaze fixed on us. He was really touched. And I am thankful to God that he gave me so much happiness.. I don't have any regret that Vineet doesn't remember his past life, our wedding or blissful moments that we shared. At least we are happy. And now we have our daughter. I named her Manvi, the other name of my late little sister, whom God snatched from my hands. She used to say that if you will have a daughter, we will name her Manvi. And this is my decision. Vineet and I used to laugh at this. Now that, I have a daughter, I felt the same aura as I had with my sister and so I named her Manvi.

Vineet liked the name and adored the little girl.. Meanwhile, Sneha came up for the checkup and she told Vineet that  we can go home. I was elated, that now it won't be only Vineet or me, Manvi will also be there. We reached home and I moved into the room. I sat on the bed and Vineet entered the room with a big packet. It was a cradle. He told that he took the delivery of the same today. It was a pink coloured cradle and he settled it up. He kept it near the bed and I placed the little girl into the cradle. She was asleep, and so I went to freshen up.

I came out of the washroom after 20 minutes, and I saw Vineet playing with Manvi. The little girl might have woke up. I smiled at the scenario. Life seemed perfect.

I was running around the house.

"mannu!! Kahan chali gayi. Chalo jaldi se doodh finish karo. Mannu toh good girl hai na."  I called.

I looked in the garden, her room, but she was nowhere to be found. I sighed.

"Uffo!! Kahan gayi hai ye? Dono baap beti mujhe dauda ke rakhte hai." I murmured.

Five years have passed by. Our daughter, Manvi, is now five years old. She keeps on running around the house and keeps us on our toes. When she has to go out  and play, she teams up with Vineet. When she wants her favorite food, or toys, she clings towards me. Though her father fulfills all her demands. Today is Sunday, and these two father daughter duo must be planning something, I know. I gave her milk, but she left it and ran away. She must be with her beloved father. I called for them and moved towards my bedroom.

"Vineet, Mannu!! Kahan ho dono? Vineet dekho, mannu ko samjhao.. Aur dekho tumhe dawai…." I was saying but paused on seeing the scenario in front of me.

"Papa!! Aap mannu ki Baat nahi sunte." Manvi said keeping her hands on her waist.

"Kya nahi suna maine?" he asked while looking into his phone.

Manvi looked at him. She kept her hand on the phone. Vineet looked at her.

"Mannu, papa zaruri kaam kar rahe hai na. Haath hatao." he said removing her hand.

"Mannu ko bhi zaroori baat karni hai papa se. Aur papa ko mannu ki taraf dekhna hai."  manvi said while looking at her father.

Vineet sighed and put his phone aside. I smiled watching them. These two are adamant enough. Manvi always makes him listen to her. Vineet looked at her and she glared in return.

"Mannu ne aapse ye kholne ko bola. Aapne nahi khola. Aur mannu se nahi khulta. Isse babies ko chot lag jati hai. "  she said holding the medicine strip.

A smile crept on my lips. It was Vineet's medicine. Maybe she saw me giving him that. I also told her to ask her father to take the medicine. I looked on as Vineet took out a medicine from the strip. Manvi took the medicine in her hand and looked at him.

"Chalo papa, ab jaldi se ye medicine khalo. Nahi toh mumma aake dantegi, aapko ishke liye aur mujhe milk ke liye." she said in her babyish tone.

He smiled and asked her for the medicine but she denied.

"Mannu khilayegi aapko. Nahi toh aap bhul jaoge. Chalo glass uthao." She ordered.

I watched the duo as Vineet picked up the glass, and Manvi put the medicine in his mouth. Vineet drank the water and Manvi clapped her hands. She had finally accomplished a big task. Manvi climbed on the bed and snuggled closer to her father. I smiled, and at the same time, Vineet saw me. He gazed at me questioningly. I entered the room and sat beside them. Manvi looked at me.

"Mumma!! Mannu ne papa ko dawai khila di. Wo bhul gaye they hamesha ki tarah." She said.

"  I know. Mannu toh good girl hai. Isliye toh mannu ko yeh kaam diya tha. "  I said patting her cheeks.

She giggled and Vineet held my hands.

"Ruhana, main toh kahin kho sa gaya tha. But you proved k hum hamesha sath they, hain aur rahenge." he said.

I nodded affirmatively. Manvi pounced on me locking her arms in my neck.

" Mannu bhi rahegi. Wo kahin nahi jayegi. Aap bhejna nahi." manvi said innocently.

I and Vineet laughed at her words. I pulled her in my lap and kissed her head.  She hugged me, while Vineet who was adoring us, spoke.

" We were and We are One, forever. No one can break us apart. " he said.

I nodded in affirmation, as he kissed my head and I smiled wholeheartedly. Manvi broke my embrace and glared at Vineet for not kissing her on the head. If vineet hugged me or kissed me on the cheek or head, she wanted the same for her and vice versa.

I laughed at her antics and Vineet's ways to manofy her. The life seems perfect now. We will always be together as a family now.
