Kara

Alex kissed me. She kissed me! I kissed back instantly with every bit of love, passion, and longing I've ever had for her.

When we parted, Alex smiled. "I've been wanting to do that for awhile..." "Oh? Since when?" "Since the day you outed yourself to save the plane I was on." I smiled and kissed her again. Before it could progress, her phone rang. "Agent Danvers..." She paled. "Do you know why she's in the city?" She paused. "She's with me... We'll be there soon." "What's wrong?" "Mom, she's in town." "Alex, no matter what Eliza says, I won't stop loving you, I won't see you in a different light. I love you Alex."

Alex

We walked into the DEO. "Hey Mom, what brought you by?" "I just wanted to see my girls, and to make sure Kara is alright. I heard about the Kryptonite incident." "I'm fine Eliza..." Kara said, trying, and failing, to hide her nervousness. "Is something wrong?" "No. I'm gonna go on patrol now." She ran off to change into her Supergirl suit.

After Kara flew out, Eliza gave me a questioning look. "What was that all about?" "The um Kryptonite..." I cleared my throat. "It um... It took away her gay inhibitions... And um..." At this point she was glaring at me.

"What happened, Alexandra?" Eliza was getting louder, and was obviously getting angrier. "She and I... We um... Kissed..." She took an angry step towards me. "You kissed her?! You kissed your sister?!" "MOM! She's a grown woman! She kissed back, she could've stopped me, but she didn't." "She's your sister!" "Not by blood! We've never seen each other as sisters!" "You're sick... You've corrupted her! You're a disgrace... You were supposed to protect her and you haven't done that. First when she revealed herself to the world as an alien, and now this!"

"She outed herself to save me!" "You could've told her to not go out again." "That's the thing mom! I let her go back out because she's happy when she helps people! Just like she's happy with me!"

Just as she was about to respond, Kara walked into the lab. "How dare you Eliza! How dare you tell her that she's corrupted me. That she's failed to protect me! She and I aren't sisters. I love her more than that. Only one who is corrupting anyone is you! We're not bloodsisters, we were barely foster sisters." Kara's eyes were glowing and Eliza's demeanor changed from angry, to nervous.

Kara

I was angry at Eliza for having the nerve to call Alex a disgrace. "If you can't accept us, get out! Get out of the DEO, get out of the city. GET. OUT. OF. OUR. LIVES."

Eliza decided that she would leave. Alex burst into tears. "I can't believe that she said that to you." "I can... What I can't believe is your reaction." "Alex, did I overstep?" "No... Not at all... I just never thought you'd snap at her like that." "She had no right to call you a disgrace..." I sighed. "I love you Alex. So much." I kissed Alex's forehead. "I love you too Kara I always will..."

"Dinner tonight?" I asked Alex. "Yeah, my place or yours?" She asked after she stepped back. "I was thinking more like a date." "Italian okay with you?" "Yeah."
