It's been a while since we've seen each other with Avan, as well as Mat. I stared outside the window, trying to forget that...kiss from my childhood sweetheart. Yet, somehow that memory won't die, it's like it would stay there forever. I sighed and got up to go for a walk to the park where we met again with Avan.

The park was still beautiful. Although there may be some new features, it is still the same, same structures, as well as same sweet memories. Minutes of walking brought back reminiscences.

I stumbles into the place where we met again with Avan. Nothing changed. Even a little. I sat on the shade of the tree nearby the lake, resting. Somehow, this place makes me crack a smile, and shed a tear. I sighed.

Suddenly, a hand rested on my shoulder. I turned my head to see who it was. Not very surprising, it was Mat. I smirked at him and looked at the calm body of water. He began to talk softly. "The park is beautiful today." I nodded, still not giving eye contact to him. Mat sat down beside me, very close. He stared at me, waiting for me to respond or stare back. There was silence filling the air. I couldn't help but speak to him, for the sake of making our conversation interesting. "S-So... How is Claire? Is she ok?" I asked with a shrug.

"Yea she's fine." He paused for a brief moment to think about something. "About Claire and I--"

"Heh, I don't have any problem about that!" I lied sarcastically. "Oh, um...so is it you and Avan now?" he nervously asked. My eyes grew big.

He definitely seen us kissed. Mat was certainly there in the scene.

"W-what? Where did that came from?"

"Oh, you guys aren't dating yet?" Why does he want me to date him so bad? Should I just tell the truth? I took a deep breathe and finally spoke. "Whatever you saw that night, it was a mistake."

"What do you mean? I--"

"Avan thinks he can just forcefully kiss any girl without even thinking about them and their feelings. And yes, Avan likes me. Happy?"

Mat said nothing. I shook my head and sighed. "I got something to confess..." he told me softly. "What is it?"

"I never really dated Claire."
