chapter 10
"Stella, hey, Stella. Wake up your having a bad dream." I heard someone say shaking me.
"We can't find my mother until, the prophecy is complete!" I said urgently.
"What? What, do you mean? Why can't we go find her?" The voice I finally noticed as Sam said.
"We just, we can't, ok, just, trust me." I said.
"Oh, ok, well if you say so." Sam said, I'm pretty sure he just thought i was very tired.
"Well why don't you just go back to sleep." He said and walked off, I slowly laid back down on the couch and fell into a dreamless sleep.

"Hey Stella wake up." Sam said shaking me again.
"Huh, what?" I asked, sitting up. I opened my eyes and everyone was surrounding me.
"Well, we have a slight problem. And you're the only one who can help. Or at least we hope you can." Dean said.
"Ok, what is it?" I asked.
"He was cremated." Dean said.
"Fuck!" I exclaimed.
"Excuse me, languages." Sam said.
"Frickle frack. Happy?" I asked sarcastically.
"Well all of us, except for you and Sam, are going to go see some way he could be staying here. You and Sam are going back to the house and looking." Dean said.
"Oh, ok, alright let me get changed." I said standing up. I reached around for a random shirt and then grabbed a pair of jeans and walked into the bathroom.
I quickly changed, then I realized this shirt was way to big for me. I stepped out of the bathroom and saw that all of them except for Sam had left.
"Hey that's my favorite flannel." He said looking at me.
"Mine now." I said, and stated walking.
"Uh, no. Go change out of that." Sam said grabbing the back of the shirt.
"Fine." I complained, and reached into my bag and grabbed one of my shirts then went into the bathroom and changed. When I walked out I threw the flannel at him. Now I was wearing one of my flannels, living with them, it's was sort of a must with the flannels.
"Thank you. Now let's go, and we're stopping to get something to eat." Sam said.
"Yay, food!" I said happily as we walked out.
We walked into a random diner and sat down, after a few seconds a waitress walked up to out table.
"You folks must be new around here, so what brings you to our little town?" She asked, with a slight southern accent.
"Oh, we're investigating the murders in the house down the street, and she just wanted to come with me." Sam said.
"Oh so is he your dad or something?" She asked.
"Yes, I am." I lied.
"Oh, ok, well I hope you figure out what's going on its such a nice house, I'd be happy to help with any information or anything." She said.
"Oh well thanks." Sam said.
"Yup, so what can I get y'all to drink?" She asked.
"Just a coffee, and for her chocolate milk." Sam said.
"What makes you think I want chocolate milk?" I asked him, as she walked away.
"Did you want something else?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"No." I said crossing my arms and looking down. I heard him let out a loud laugh.
We ate our food and then left and walked to the house.
"So do you think you know anything that might have him tied to the house?" Sam asked, I just looked at him like he was stupid.
"We found a flipping floorboard full of his stuff." I said, and dragged him up to the room where it was.
I pulled up the floor board and was shocked at what I saw.
"Where'd it all go?!" I asked shoked.
"We already burned it all." Sam said.
"Then why are we still here?" I asked.
"Because, I don't know I've just got a feeling." He said.
"Alright fine, well I'll go look around the house while you look around a different part of the house." I said walking off.
I walked into my old room, as soon as I stepped in the room I was hit with a sudden coldness, I shivered a little bit but then started looking around.
This room was always so cold. I sat down on the ground and just learned against the wall. I closed my eyes and all I saw were flash backs of what happens to me. I quickly opened my eyes and tried to ignore this nagging sensation in the back of my mind.
I heard the door open and Sam walked in, so I quickly stood up and pretended I was doing something. He was being very quiet, so I looked over at him. Something was off he didn't seem like himself.
"Sam, you feeling okay?" I asked looking at him.
He just gave me a creepy smile and stared at me for a little bit longer, then he pulled something out from behind his back. I quickly realized it was a knife. Then he started walking toward me and I started backing up.
"S- Sam, whatcha doing with that?" I asked scared.
"You sure have changed since the last time I saw you. You look just like your mother." He said.
"W- What do you mean, Sam you're scraping me this isn't funny." I said scared.
My back finally hit the wall, and he was still walking closer.
"Don't you remember, after all the fun we had together." He said.
"M- master. Wait wow you actually made me call you that, wow that's really weird." I said getting off track. Shit stop it this is no time.
"So nice to see you after all these years." He said.
"You were supposed to protect me, my mother asked you to. Wait who was the lady who is in the locket then?" I asked realizing that he wasn't my actual dad and the woman in the picture in my locket wasn't my mother.
Then he finally got right in my face, then he smirked and pinned me to the wall. Why did he get out the knife if he wasn't going to use it.
"Didn't you ever wonder why I was always so mean to you? Because of you my wife is dead." He said picking me up by my neck.
I let out a small whimper as he threw me to the ground, hard. I heard a loud crack and a sharp pain in the elbow I had landed on.
"Sam, please." I said quietly. He just laughed and picked me back up.
"Sweetie Sammy's not home." He laughed, and brought his knife up to my wrist.
He pressed it deep into my skin and slowly drug it across my arm. I let out a scream that was muffled by his other hand that covered my mouth.
He did this a few more times until he let go of me and I fell to a heap on the ground.
"I fought in the war for your mother, and what does she do to me. Leaves me with you." He said kicking me. I then curled up in a ball.
"Please, Sam this isn't you, you're stronger than him, please stop." I pleaded and he just kicked me again.
"I can't believe she thinks you're the chosen one. Just look how weak you are." He said and stared kicking me repeated, I heard a quiet snap and a sharp pain shot around my chest.
"Sam, please." I pleaded looking up at him. He was about to kick me again but hesitated. He put his foot back down on the ground next to his other one.
He looked at me and i noticed a black substance was leaking from his nose.
"Please..." I said quietly as spots danced in my vision. I was losing blood fast from my arms and was in a lot of pain.
He then crumbled to the floor with a loud thud, and something shot out of him. It took him a minute bit he finally came to.
The only thing he could see was me laying in a pool of my own blood, I could tell that all he could see because of the look on his face.
"Stella!" He said urgently standing up, and running over to me.
"I am, so sorry. I wasn't paying attention, and he isn't a normal human spirit, he slipped inside." He said I let out a laugh to lighten the mood.
"No, no, it's fine. Just please I need healing or something." I said as more spots clouded my vision and sound started to muffle.
"Don't worry, you're going to be fine." He said gingerly picking me up.
I let out a quiet yelp as I felt pain all over. Then everything just kinda went numb and I couldn't move.
"Sam I'm tired." I said as my eyes slowly shut.
