It was a couple of months later, everything was settling down ok, Sammy was a-okay, (wow, a-ok was such an old person thing for me to say here), and honestly I couldn't be happier, (as it was actually everything that I had ever wanted in life).

One thing that I can say is that my sleep hasn't changed that much as I didn't sleep before, (much to my poor husband's dismay here), but I guess that if you had a healthy sleep schedule, than your sleep would have been totally fucked out the window, (though I don't know which is worse, the being used to sleep and losing it because you're a parent, or being a bloody insomniac parent who's sleep has not been affected much?).

The early morning lull was peaceful, (when I say it was early, it was was like 4 O'clock in the morning kind of early though, if I'm being honest with you here), (so yes, real fucking early dear), had I slept at all?, ha!, of course not, (when did I ever sleep though, let's be honest), was I tired as shit, of course I was, but I was still weirdly cheery though, (don't ask me why as I couldn't fucking tell ya).

So about 20 minutes later Danny woke up, (I dunno why he woke up, I just know the fact that he did wake up), his hair all over the place as it was just so fluffy, (which might sound weird to you but it's just really bloody fluffy, ok), as he hadn't gelled it yet, (though I get that having fluffy hair at a garage isn't really practical though, ya know).

"Did you sleep at all Mandy?"
"I didn't really sleep last night"
"Babe-"
"I know that it's not good for me and all, but I just can't sleep, Sammy mostly slept though, so there's that"
"I'm just worried about you"
"I know"

I felt awful that Danny was so worried about me and my lack of sleep, but I couldn't really do anything about it as I had already done everything that I could do for it here, (which probably didn't help the price of our medical insurance but what can ya do?).

"Do you want a cup of tea Babe?"
"Yes please"

I was very much grateful for Danny making me a cuppa, (honestly I really stuck gold when I found him, eh), as I was tired as shit, despite being weirdly cheery, ya know, (or maybe you don't know, I'm not gonna assume what you do and don't know here mate).

So anyway, Danny made me a cuppa, and he brought it up to me in bed, ('cause he's such a fucking Sweetheart I tell ya), so it felt like it was a stay in bed kind of morning, (yes, I can tell what kind of morning it will be by my feelings, fucking sue me, Karen), so we just stayed in bed for the morning.

"Thank you"
"You're welcome Babe"
"Not that I can talk since I'm a fucking insomniac, but what woke you up?"
"I don't know why, I just woke up"
"Fair enough I guess"
"(Snorts), Thanks I guess"

I don't know why this was, as it wasn't even that funny in hindsight, but we just started giggling like fucking kids, (I also don't know how the fuck we didn't wake Sammy up, because as much as we tried to giggle quietly, we kinda failed at that), but it felt really nice to just giggle, ya know, (or maybe you don't know that, I'm not trying to assume what you do and don't know here).

It was like 20 minutes later, we were both giggled out, (though I did feel less meh afterwards, so there's that going for me), it was still like stupidly early in the morning but I found that it didn't really bother me that morning, I couldn't tell you why that was, just that it didn't bother me, ya know, (or maybe you don't know that, I'm not assuming here).

"I fucking love you Danny, ya know that, right?"
"I do know that yes, but it's still nice to hear"
"Good, I'm glad, it means that I tell you that I love you enough"
"You feeling ok Babe?"
"Yeah, why'd you ask?"
"You seem a bit off is all"
"Meh, I've been feeling all kinds of off recently"
"Do you want to talk to someone about that?"
"I'm not endangering anyone just because I can't handle all the shit I carry"

I didn't usually like about my feelings, but I also knew that Danny wasn't going to tell anyone about it, ya know.

"Is this about why you came here?"
"Yeah"
"You know you can talk to me"
"I do know that"
"Good, I'm glad"
