So I was almost a couple of weeks overdue, which I was quite worried about, as it was bordering the time frame that the baby wouldn't survive birth, (I knew this because I had helped multiple people give birth while I was in foster care, ya know), (please don't ask me why I was the called upon help here, 'cause I couldn't fucking tell ya why that was), (well, it's probably because I was the girl on site that wasn't giving birth, so I guess there's that).

I woke up with a feeling that we needed to go to the hospital as soon as humanly possible, (call it mother's intuition or something, I'm not an expert here, ok?), so I woke Danny up, (which took a bit, I'm not gonna lie babes, but it eventually worked so there's that), as I needed him to drive me to the hospital as I struggled to drive with bump in the way, (plus paranoia and driving is not that safe, ya know, let alone driving when something could go very wrong).

Danny was not the easiest person to try and wake up I've got to be honest with you, (though I guess I could describe most people who were not insomniacs like that, so don't quote me on it though, as I'm a definite insomniac here Babes), it was an emergency though, so tough titties on him, (but not really), but anyway after about like five minutes of me waking him up, well he woke up, (wow Clara, fucking wow).

"Danny, we need to go to the hospital!"
"Why?"
"Because I woke up with this unshakable feeling and it doesn't feel good-"
"Ok, we'll go"

So Danny drove like a mad man to the hospital, (though I guess that's because I had a bad feeling and I rarely have those), if I wasn't in so much bloody pain, I probably would have freaked out at the speed in which he was driving, (though I do know that he only sped in emergencies), (though I guess that's kind of self explanatory though).

"Danny!, fuck!"

Yeah this made Danny go even faster than he was before, (don't ask me how this was even possible, because I don't bloody know about it as I'm not a car expert here, ok), but I was in so much pain that at that point, I didn't really care if he sped or not to be honest here, (though I think about it quite a bit afterwards, so take that as you will), (or don't, I'm not telling you how to interpret what I say to you Darling).

What is the car ride to the hospital fun?... well obviously not, I just thought that you needed some good old British sarcasm for the road, wait, shit, I think that I made a pun here, which is not a good thing to happen while explaining the events leading up to giving birth, anyway, I'm letting you get back to regular programming.

I felt like a ticking time bomb here, (which was not fucking fun let me tell you), but there wasn't really much we could've done about it here, other than drive to the bloody hospital, (I still hate them, but I guess we had to go), Danny was trying to stay calm but he's shit at hiding his feelings, especially from me.

We got to the hospital in good time, (well that is if you consider the fact that we were speeding a bit more than Danny usually did as good timing), and that was when my water broke, (which meant that my feeling was right, but at least nothing horrible happened, ya know), which made Danny worry even more than he already was, (he does worry quite a lot, especially when it comes to me), (though I worry about him too, so I guess it's swings and roundabouts).

Danny was freaking the fuck out about it, (though I really don't blame him as this shit was quite scary at times if I'm being completely honest with you here), but that didn't help me feel better though, (though I guess birthing a whole arse human did all that to people), (though from what I remember of it, it was fucking traumatic as shit), (though I don't remember much so I'm not the best person to ask about birth experiences here dear).

After like a long arse time in the hospital, like a truly long arse time, (like 18 hours later kind of long arse time), well the baby was born, which I was grateful for as that meant that I didn't have to worry about being so overdue anymore, ya know, (Since I wasn't overdue anymore), (yes, I felt relieved regardless of how much actual pain that I was in).
