Amanda Pov

So I was now Amanda Anderson, (yes I get the irony of it being alliteration here, alright, like I will sue you if you mention it again, ok), Danny and I were having a baby, (yes, a whole arse human baby), and in general we were quite happy with life, (did feel a bit whiplashed as we found out that I was pregnant on our wedding day), (though you would feel that way too if that happened to you here Darling).

Anyway Toby and Danny's Dad were standing and casually chatting to each other, (well I guess that they bonded over feeling like old men or something), (seeing your child get married will do that to ya though, so there's that to bond over I guess), (I'm not entirely sure what they talked about though as I didn't bloody ask them about it).

So Danny and I went over to 'em both, as they were our parents and in-laws, (plus the wedding was hectic as shit and they were the most chilled people we knew), (plus we needed to tell them about the news, because ya know, we were bursting to tell someone about the news here).

So naturally we decided that we should tell our respective Dad's here, as talking to them as a group then more people would find out and we didn't want to announce it at the wedding, ya know.

"Toby"
"Yeah Darling"
"I have something to tell you"
"Please don't tell me that you already have second thoughts about this whole wedding thing here Clara"
"That's not what I'm gonna say"

Toby looked relieved about that, but I guess that was a good thing, ya know, (or maybe you don't know that), I was glad that I hadn't made him feel like he had to worry about me anymore than he had done already, (even though he told me not to feel bad about it).

"Ok, that's good, what is it then Kiddo?"
"Well I'm pregnant"
"Please tell me that's not the reason why you got married-"
"God no Toby, (snorts), Jesus Christ, I'm not religious anymore due to trauma from my Mother, remember, anyway I only found out like 5 minutes ago because I missed my bloody period"
"Alright, there's no need to spill all that out-"
"Ha ha, so hilarious"
"So this means that I'm gonna be a Grandad?"
"Exactly Daddyo"
"Well as long as you're happy with that then I'm happy for you Darling"
"Thank you"
"You're welcome"

So Toby was quite happy with that news, all things considered here, so I took that as a win to be honest with you here, (not that Toby would have said otherwise to me here but I knew that he wasn't lying through his body language or anything like that), (as he's my bestie, alright, like I could tell by him here).

"Does Danny know?"
"Yes he does, he was outside the loo when I did the pregnancy test"
"(Snorts), Of course, I should have expected nothing less from you"
"I don't know wether to take that as a compliment or not"
"I'd take it as one if I were you here Clara"
"Oh ok, thanks then"

I then rolled my eyes at Toby, as he was just being him, (wow Clara, it was so descriptive that Shakespeare would quit play writing... not), but still I was the happiest that I had ever been in my entire life, (not that I've had the happiest life ever but details shmetails, ya know), and Toby knew all this as he's my best friend and my adoptive Dad here, (I do try to remind him that he's the only reason that I didn't dye yet).

"What made ya check on ya wedding day though Darling?"
"Well I felt sick, and then I realised that I missed my period, so take that as you will there Daddyo"
"Yeah, I guess if all that didn't scream 'take a pregnancy test' then I don't know what would to be honest with you"
"(Snorts), Oh fuck off Toby, stop being such a smart arse"
"But then you'll miss my quick quips at ya Kiddo"
"I actually don't think I would regardless of what you or anyone else believed Daddyo"
"And that's why I love ya"
"I love ya too, even if I don't say it too much"
"(Kisses temple), Yeah well don't forget it, ok"
"Ok then Dad"

I rolled my eyes at Toby as it was just so easy to do, (plus it was in banter as he's my best friend, ya know babes), and he gave me a side eye, (but again, it was in banter), but I knew that regardless of what was to come or happen that Toby would still have my back, ya know.
